Our first visit was a very positive experience.

It's been a few years since I've been here since my dog passed away, but they always did a great job and I trusted his health to their care.

Highly recommend Southside and it’s doctors/ staff to treat your dogs at any stage of life. They treated 2 of ours for many issues as they aged, and were there to help us say goodbye when the time came for each of them . The doctors and staff are very responsive and readily answer any questions we have regarding our pets.

I recommend Southside Veterinary Hospital.They have always been there when an emergency visit was needed(even at 5:30 on a Friday afternoon).Very professional and always caring..

You couldn’t do anything better!! Everything was great, as always! Our new baby Crush got to finally come visit his favorite Vet Office as part of the Our family household!!! Thank you for always being caring and loving our babies!!!! We found Southside by accident. We brought in a friends dog who was out of the country during Xmas! Dr Saul met me everyday for 3 days and on xmas day!! We made the choice right then, to trust our babies to this vet, Southside Animal Hospital!!! You loved our boys as if they were yours when u saw them!! You were there till the end and are now here for our newest family members Krista and Crush!

Great service. It was my pups 1st visit and she did very well. Dr Moser, Sierra and Rena were friendly, thorough and I can tell they care. (Pic is to show off my pup, wasn't taken at the vet office)

they are always very friendly and get us in as soon as possible when my boys are sick or unwell. my 8 month old lab was having GI upsets and they were able to fix the issue within a week, we were in ER vets prior to going here for several months with nothing being done for him. southside got him in within the day and got him feeling a lot better. couple weeks later both my boys burn there paw pads badly sliding around on turf and they got them in the next morning with no issues, there paw pads are feeling perfectly now without pain. i’ve been going here for almost two years and have never had a bad experience. my boys are pretty bad when they are at the vet and they never make a big deal of it, i recommend them to all my friends and my dog sitting clients.

Long wait time. we scheduled an appointment for 2:15 and it was almost 3 and we were still waiting. We ended up just leaving. We’ve taken our dog to them for a while but we’ll be transferring to another vet after this incident.

We first took our husky puppy to Southside last year in 2020 & discovered she had pneumonia. She began having more difficulty breathing & was rushed to the emergency hospital for surgery on her larynx. Southside was there for her follow up care & yearly shots. They have always been kind & caring. They answer questions & have given us helpful information. Their guidance on her weight & food has been invaluable. I would definitely recommend Southside Animal Hospital.

From the first phone call, I felt very happy that I chose Southside Animal Hospital. At the visit, I was listened to and was very comfortable with the care our Chi babies were given. Everyone was friendly, kind and caring. Definitely will be staying with this vet and referring to everyone. Thank you Southside Animal Hospital.

We have 3 animals in Southside’s care and from random sickness to troubling behaviors they have supported us from appointment setting to long after the appointment is done. Checking in and offering advice and support for ongoing care. The most wonderful vets and such great pricing.

There was not anything i would have changed about our service from yall. We came in an emergency as new clients and yall cared for our dog so well. We were impressed by your care and attention. We just moved to the area and plan to continue care with yall!

Not sure exactly how long we've been coming to Southside but we absolutely love each Vet in this practice. I've had a good experience at different times well check up and sick appts too. Recently I've had to bring our old cat in to talk about quality of life. The staff and Dr Mike were outstanding and kind. I wasn't really ready to let her go and she still putting out dogs in their place. Dr Mike ended up treating her for a UTI and after that she perked back up. These last 2 weeks I've been in contact again with Dr Mike because Shadow (our 13 almost 14 yr old Lab) had a vestibular episode, very scary. Dr Mike was so kind, never ever got a feel he was or would try to run the bill up. They give you honest options to let you make the right decision for your furr baby. Today I spoke with Dr Mike about Shadow and quality of life. I can't say enough wonderful things about him, so grateful for him. He really does care about his patients and the owners. I have seen several on the Dr there and each of them very kind and never got a feel they wanted to run price up or procedure not needed. Very thankful for this office.

They have a portal to make an appointment. Filled it out and never got a response. Called several times. No answer and left messages. Nobody calls me back. This is not a very professionally run place and it's unfortunate as they are the closest vet to where I live. I don't even recommend trying here. They won't help you schedule an appointment for your pet. Furthermore, after reading Southsides response to other negative reviews, I realize they can't seem to take the blame and admit they made a mistake. Have some integrity. In several responses the owner basically says that it's not their problem. No dog should leave a nail trim with multiple bloody paws. I'm glad now that they didn't respond to me attempts to make an appointment.

It was our first visit with Prime and we were very pleased with the services provided . Our Vet Tech Danielle was very patient with us and addressed all of our concerns .

My first visit to Southside Animal Hospital was a great experience. The staff was excellent. Everyone I met was personable, pleasant and focused on providing my little kitten with the best possible care. Why would I go anywhere else?

I highly recommend them and they do take Pet Assure which is awesome. My dog Rusty who has anxiety seemed very at ease when he went with them and when he came back. I couldn't be happier with the service my dog and I received.

Very friendly, very helpful & by far the best vet experience I’ve had here in Charleston. Best part is how reasonable their prices are, I highly recommend them!

Southside was new to us at the beginning of this year when our 11 year old beagle/boxer mix was sick and we went to them thinking he was just sick with something in need of attention. It turned out he had liver cancer. The Dr explained what was going on, our options for his care and what could and couldn’t be done for him. He was so beloved, but there was a decision to be made and while it wasn’t easy, they were caring and supportive and were able to help us through this terrible time. The Vet never pushed an agenda and was so kind and caring, even though our sweet Bandit was a first time patient. She and the staff gave him not just medical care but genuine love. We are forever grateful for them and have adopted them as our family vets. ❤️

Everything was perfect, as always, very thorough in findings & instruction in med administrations. If it tells you anything we live in N. Chas. almost on the Goose Creek City line & I've been driving my dog, Red, to John's Island not because we have a Vet shortage over on this side but because Red LOVES everyone that works @ Southside! And, now our 2 mth old Sadie will be coming to her 2nd appt. this coming Monday! Looks like it's gonna be. "Family Tradition"❤️????????????

I was going to a different practice that was across town but became very frustrated with their service level. I tried Southside out of frustration and had a great experience. Great technicians, professional front desk staff, and Dr. Mike is great! I recently used their mail order pharmacy to get my pups heart worm and flea preventative and that was so easy. Great service, very nice people, and my pup likes them too.

I absolutely love Southside Animal Hospital! The staff and doctors are truly amazing! Dr. Carroll is truly the best and we love her!! She is so great with my lab, Bandit!! And Dr. Michael and all the staff were wonderful when I brought in the little orange tabby, Jumper (aka Don Holt) I rescued this past week!! We tell everyone and anyone about how great this vet clinic is!! They truly treat animals like they are humans!

I love how the vets and technicians at Southside Animal Hospital take such good care of my goofy boy Buddy! Professional, on time and caring. Highly recommended if you are looking for a new veterinarian!

Was on vacation with my 4 dogs in Edisto beach. Had an emergency injury with my one dog and they were able to fit me in, fast, professional. They worked my normal vet for records and to know anything about my dog before we got there. Would 100% use them again if / when I am back in the area.
