My tech and vet were wonderfully helpful, friendly and comforting. The entire staff seemed happy to be there and it was a pleasure to have been around so much positivity during a time of concern for our family pet.

I was approached by an employee with a paper mask to wear. At the time I was in the far part of the lobby with no one within 15 feet of me. I had a mask and planned to use it once I was called to the back, but she decided to approach me very close and demand for me to put one on. Please tell me what good a paper mask does. My breath has to go somewhere and it goes out the sides of the mask. It only works to keep me from breathing directly onto someone. But at 15 or more feet away from anyone, it's useless. Please be reasonable about your rules. I am not anti mask, just anti silly, non sensible rules...

This was my first visit to this practice. Everyone was very caring and very thorough! I received a lot of information on the issue my dog was Experiencing. They also saved me another visit by updating His shots. Very pleased with this office.

I was very pleased with my visit to this office! Several places were wanting to see my "sick" pet in a week and pull up for them to curb receive her. At the time of my visit, I was allowed to wear a mask and stay with my old and very nervous fur baby. They were very professional and showed so much care and love!

Dr Niciu & Dr Johnson are ROCK STARS! I would never think about taking my furry children to anyone other than DFAH. I appreciate the compassion and honesty I receive from the staff, it’s like they are caring for their own animals when treating mine.

My baby’s kennel cough vaccine had expired and I needed to get it done quickly so she could go to doggy daycare. I had her yearly scheduled for next week, but when I called on Monday afternoon, they got me in the next day! They are professional & knowledgeable. Also, they don’t look at me like I’m crazy when I ask silly questions. Dr. Hood & Allen we’re fantastic!!

Taking your pet to Dutch Fork Animal Hospital is a pleasurable experience. The staff are very friendly and show such compassion towards animals. They do not rush you through the process and take the time to explain everything concerning your furry family member.

We have used DFAH for over 20 years. We recently had to deal with the end of life for our longtime companion. She had a brief but terminal illness that had a small chance of recovery. The Drs. were straight forward from the start to the end. They kept us informed, even personally calling on Sunday twice. We know we are losing a pet the day we get them but it doesn't make it any easier. Dutch fork made it easier.

I had a great experience when I took Teether there on Tuesday 12/7/21. The tech was amazing & understanding of me wanting to be present during the exam after a horrible experience at the emergency vet on a Sunday about 2 weeks prior. Very pleased with the Veterinarian, he was thorough and explained everything to me! So I’ve found the Dr I want for Teether, finally! Overall a wonderful experience. I trust my beloved best friend is getting the healthcare she deserves! Thank you so much! I absolutely recommend them!

I’ve been with DFV 8 years and I appreciate everything they do for my three fur babies. Two dogs are rescues and have been treated for major issues to regular checkups. The doctors and staff are responsive and caring. No matter how busy a day can be, your pet is never rushed, all questions are answered and explanations are given on medication and treatment. I would highly recommend this vet for all your needs.

We absolutely love Dr. Johnson and the staff at Dutch Fork Animal Hospital for their combination of professionalism and tender loving care. Dr. Johnson always listens to my concerns and takes the very best approach in caring for our sweet rescued Cocker Spaniel, Daisy. We also board Daisy when we are out of town during which the staff takes very good care of her as she is very calm and content when we pick her up. The front desk staff is always friendly, professional, and personable, as well. DFAH definitely rates 5-star!

This vet offers declawing services for cats. Stay FAR away from any vet that does this. They are well aware that a cat's claws are a part of their fingers and that they are cutting off a cat's fingers *at the knuckles*. This causes cats a lifetime of pain, makes using the litterbox hurt, causes early arthritis, removes their main means of playing, causes immense anxiety, and traumatizes them. They want your money so they do it for the uninformed. If you didn't know, now you do.
