In the past few months, we’ve had several experiences with the Urgent Pet Clinic in Fort Mill, and every single experience has been the absolute best!! From the ease of getting in to be seen, to the ultimate, top notch care from the veterinarian, to the compassion and kindness from the entire staff, Urgent Vet exceeds ALL expectations! Additionally, we all associate an UrgentVet with a thousand dollar bill, and they are shockingly very affordable, in fact less expensive than our normal vet. If they weren’t strictly an urgent vet, we’d immediately switch to UrgentPet of Fort Mill for all of our pet needs. So grateful!

We were in town visiting family with our dog who needed to be checked out for a skin flare-up. We were very by impressed with their professionalism, attention to previous medical issues our dog had had and the fair pricing for both treatment and meds!

They were fantastic and reasonably priced.

Went there with an emergency, my dog bleeding out her nose along with a puncture under her eye. They weren’t open went to the door to read paper a lady comes out to im guessing to see why we were there. But instead of doing that she shows us away with attitude after telling us another vet to go to. Might I add no explanation of why they were closed. Called and called and called different places while sitting in the parking lot and no luck so went to ask her for advice and she told us that she could not help us and that we need to “get out of the parking lot before my dog dies” definitely would not recommend this place what’s so ever

We had to bring our dog rocko in cause his health was going downhill. We asked about their euthanization process and decided it was the best option. As difficult as this decision was, the staff was so professional and guided us through it while making us feel comfortable. We will forever be thankful for everything. Highly recommended ????

Took my dog here for what seemed to be side effects of the allergy med she was given, according to exam/blood work. Wait was 1hr which is fair considering urgent care/my dog wasn’t in critical condition. They listened to my concerns, gave my dog fluids, Melo our tech was great. Glad to have this urgent vet around the corner from me. Vet staff did explain they are an urgent vet and not a hospital/overnight ER and if the condition is serious they would need to go elsewhere for additional exams. They explained all test options and costs upfront and in detail so I could decide ultimately which tests were best for my dog, My dog is much better today :)

I love this place!! I have 3 dogs and 3 cats and have been to many vets for many reasons and none have even come close to the care I got from Urgent Vet. My cat needed to be seen and they got me in immediately. They did the intake over the phone while I sat in the car and then asked me to come in. I was met at the door by a young man w long hair (sorry I don’t know his name). He carried the cat cage for me then did the preliminary exam. The place was super clean. He was so kind and gentle with my cat. He spoke to him and coaxed him out of the cage with his gentle demeaned. I could tell he totally understood cats and loved animals. The doctor and assistant were both super nice, professional, and competent. They gave me choices of care and didn’t push for anything I didn’t need. They followed up with emails and asked me to call them to follow up in 3 days. This is a novel idea… vets and vet techs who love animals and enjoy what they do! Other veterinary hospitals should take note!!! HIGHLY recommend!!! Thanks for the amazing care… well done!

We waited for 3 hours and nobody was caring less about the issue that our pet had. After insisting they said that there were no place for us so we had to go to another clinic.

I called to ask if my dog, who had been vomiting everytime she ate, should be fed dinner. I was told "she needs an anti-nausea shot." When I pressed the question further, I was advised to bring her in for a full evaluation. I fed her dinner and she ended up being fine.

UrgentVet Pet Clinic has taken care of two of my cats that needed medical attention. They are a great group of vets. I highly recommend them.

My dog coco had to put down the staff was very caring in my time of lost very professional & helpful what a wonderful staff I would recommend anyone have to go for your pets the staff is great.

They took such good care of my sweet old girl. Aireal (sp?) was amazing and helped calm my nerves with her friendly conversation, she and the Dr. were very nice and patient with me informing me of my options and estimated cost of things.

Everyone was so caring and attentive! They took excellent care of Sassie.

It been a months since we took our dog, Lucy to Urgent Pet Clinic. They are professional and made some recommendations which our regular vet agreed with. The cost was in-line with our expectations. I would recommend this Vet if your regular Vet is not available.

I cannot thank UrgentVet enough. Our sweet cat was concerning us after our regular vet was closed and we were able to get an appointment super quickly and easily here. The staff were so sweet and loving, and the price was amazing.

First time writing a review but I feel I should share after $1,000 total spending for moist dermatitis. This includes the visit to their office plus my vet treating their improper treatment (2 extra visits). Will never go back and definitely cannot recommend. We also found a piece of cotton in his ear after the ear swab evaluation.

Absolutely the best urgent vet ever. They are some of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. I came on a Sunday morning as soon as they opened at 10am with an emergency visit with my sweet, 21 year old kitty and they did everything they could to keep us comfortable in an unfortunate situation. Then they were so sweet in sending us two cards and my sweet baby’s paw prints. I highly recommend these compassionate people!

We took our toy poodle in for bloody stool. Since we had never actually dealt with this before, we thought that this place was giving us proper treatment. Instead of them saying that we should have just taken him to the ER, they treated him with fluids which only lasted 12 hours and an antacid shot which lasted 24 hours and an antibiotic to take home. I asked them about him receiving fluids like sub q since I was familiar with doing that at home but was denied. Our precious boy died within 5 days. If we were attended to properly and his issue treated more serious by these people then he had a fair chance of survival. They treated him as if it were minor when it was not. The amount of money we paid for their negligent treatment we could have put that towards an ER visit. I am so very displeased with these people. I went back to get his records and all the tech could say was I'm sorry for your loss. If you would have been more attentive then he would still be here! I regret choosing this place for treatment.

I recommend the place for your pet. They were knowledgeable and compassionate to us and our 7 year old terminally I'll GSD. They gave us all the information needed to make a very hard but necessary decision that was best for our fur baby. Our heart is heavy but the Doctor and staff were very kind.

Got us in super fast around 9 at night. My kitty was feeling better within a few hours time! Friendly staff
