We have trusted Highland with our pets for years now. They are always super friendly, professional, patient, and understanding.

Dr.Amy Nevens is one of the best! She has my fur babies best interested at heart and always follows up. We can tell this is her passion. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my babies! The best in our book!

Drs. Barkman came highly recommended for the emergency bladder stone removal surgery for our dog. The entire staff was EXCELLENT from handling my frantic call to performing the emergency surgery the next day to caring for her in boarding over subsequent days. I cannot recommend them more highly. It was definitely worth the hour drive and the final cost was less than HALF of what our local vet quoted.

They take good care of our pets, and they aren’t pushy about products or services. If your animal NEEDS something they let you know. We boarded our two cats there once as well, and that was a good experience. Mainly our animals are well cared for by the vets and staff at Highland and that’s what matters most.

Well you can't get in there unless you are already a client so their business must be thriving but I didn't care for the woman who said she's the owner she's very bougie

My pet had a reaction to a medication and they did absolutely nothing to rectify the situation and he died. They also gave a pet a second rabies vaccine, without asking me or looking at his records, after giving him one just a few months earlier. This was quite awhile ago and I haven’t been back since. Not very happy with that kind of service.

The loving voices the WOMEN have in this facility and care they show to both people and animals is exceptional. I know two women who work there, The lab tech and caretaker. I can say they are emotionally invested in every pet that comes in, which they only want comfort and care for.

The best vet ever. My Jasper loves them. I have a papillon. They are very friendly and professional.

Happy with the doctors and staff. Decent prices on certain things. They did nurse a puppy I had once back to health from beung poisoned and he's 8 years old still kicking now thanks to the doctor

As I'm new to area. I called and ask to could I bring my Dog in for a walk-in which voice mail said I could. Them I ask if it was a emergency they said no. Then I ask about making a appointment. She said it would be 3-4 weeks I said that was a long time. After all that she said we are not taking new clients. I'm not from Fayetteville new here. Where I'm from people care about people and there pet's and don't push them away cause you have a new building and some old clients.

Camille is likely the first person you will speak to at Highland. It is single-handedly the greatest experience I have ever had calling a veterinary hospital. Not only is Camille compassionate and willing to listen to what I have to say about my pets, she spent an extensive amount of time in assisting me with her knowledge and experience in the field. Every question I had, she was willing to answer. I am just so impressed. I felt like she empathized just as deeply concerning my own pet as if it were her own. I have heard nothing but amazing things about Highland and I can see why. You guys really set a high standard which is unexpected by today’s standards but feels so good to receive. Thank you so much for all of your hard work and dedication in such an important field. I appreciate you already and so does Lily. ♥️

The staff have their routine down to a science. I've only ever used their walk in times, but have never had long waits or felt rushed during our visits. Everyone is great with my dogs: my anxious shepherd mix even lets them trim his nails. I wish I could take the whole clinic with me when we move.

This is the best place ever.

Updating with a new review just because we feel this truly is the best Vet office in town. One of our special needs dogs had to have CCL surgery yesterday. It was such a relief being able to have her primary care vet, Dr. Josh Barkman do the procedure rather than having to be referred out to a specialist. The care she received was unmatchable. Piper is Blind and hearing impaired so leaving her in an unfamiliar environmental can be stressful, but we knew she was in great hands. We also had an emergency situation with one of our other dogs a couple of months ago and again received the best care and attention. The Doctors and staff are amazing (Jen at the front desk is the best!) and we can't say thank you enough!

Fantastic staff. Fair prices. Just a walk in place so no appointments. Be prepared to wait if going at a busy time.
