The ladies at Dogwood are fantastic! They are very thorough in the exam and were more than happy to address any questions or concerns I had. We didn’t have to wait very long either and the prices are very reasonable. You can really tell they know what they’re doing and genuinely care about you and your fur baby!

We changed our vet because we heard Dogwood was the best in town. After multiple visits, this is our honest and transparent review. Expect a long wait every time you visit, often takes over an hour to complete even the most basic vet visit. Expect to wait well past your scheduled time. The vets here tend to care more about profit margins than they do about the betterment of your pet. Expect to get upcharged during every visit, be very upfront about what you want and don't want when you visit. This Vet office DOESN'T WORK WITH CHEWY'S at all and outright refuses to write prescriptions to Chewys where it's A LOT CHEAPER than what the Vet sells it for. We left this office and changed our Vet entirely as a result of all the above. In this day and age, a business has to adapt to the times. They don't price match to Chewys either.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. My dog was acting very weird very fast and I didn't know what to do. I drove here and met an employee outside and said there was something wrong with my dog, he wasn't eating, acting very strange, etc. It wasn't a life or death emergency, but I knew something was seriously wrong with him. They were very understanding and able to get me in with Dr. Faircloth in a few hours. She was very nice, thorough, and professional. She spent a lot of time with me and my dog explaining everything and she was able to figure out the problem. All the employees there were super nice and I will definitely be taking my dog here for all future Vet appointments!

One morning my pup, Rogue, became very ill and after calling a few vets, this was the only place that said they would be glad to see him and treat him quickly. The staff were very welcoming and loved on Rogue from the moment we arrived. When the vet tech came out to get some information, she listened deeply and was empathetic. I was asked to leave Rogue with them for the day and they called 3 separate times to give me updates. The first time, it was a staff member calling to share that the vet had seen Rogue and had several suggestions for moving forward. She shared the cost of each service/procedure. The next two calls were from the veterinarian, Dr. Williams, and he was so kind. He walked me through some of the initial test results and answered every question I had- and I had a lot. The third time, he called with some additional results, a treatment plan, and a few updates. He also took the time to explain what medications he prescribed and how to administer them. I got to pick Rogue up the same day and he was so much better. The check out process went smoothly and the staff member at check-out, Erryn, walked me through the medication instructions once more to ensure I felt good about caring for Rogue. I thanked Erryn for their care and apologize if I had overreacted and she said to me, "If it worries mom, then it worries us. You did exactly what you were supposed to do." As if all the incredible treatment thus far wasn't enough to make us switch to Dogwood as our primary vet, Erryn's statement sealed the deal. I am so happy to report that Rogue is doing well and is back to being his crazy self. Thank you, Dogwood Crew, for caring for us. We are touched by your kindness and love.

Update at bottom....... Bunch of crooks. We have been boarding with them for years, until now. We were quoted one price for boarding and when we came to pick up our dogs and pay it was $200 more. They would not let us have our dogs until we paid them, they made my wife cry by strong-arming her to pay. They gave our dogs shots that they did not need(just had). They charged for exams that were not needed. They even lost one of our dogs collars that had all of her information(microchip, rabies, address Info) and didn't even reimburse us for it. They will never get my buisness again. Update. They did find that we were overcharged for boarding and issued a refund. The manager assured me that training on quoting practices and upfront fees would be listed in the future so that people wouldn't be surprised by additional cost.

Update:My husband did have a chance to speak to the manager this morning (day after I picked them up). We were credited back $136 (comped in nail trims, removed charge for unnecessary bordatella shot, and I'm not sure what else.) I appreciate them taking the time to review this issue, but it does not change my review of their services or business practices. My husband said he was told by the manager that they'd work on training their employees. I rescued my dog back in 2017 and have been going to Dogwood ever since I got him. We've adopted 2 more since, one in 2018 and another this year, 2021. Whenever we go out of town, we board our dogs here for the convenience of the office knowing them and being able to address their needs as they arise. However, ever since COVID started closing things down, they have been more and more difficult to deal with. Most recent issues have been my last two boarding sessions. I've never requested a quote before until their second to last boarding session ended up costing about $800 for 6 days. One dog needed his annual visit and updated shots, so I bit the bullet and went with it. This last boarding session, I made sure to get a quote ahead of time. I was told it would be $484 for 4 days, all 3 dogs, and included the flu vaccine. When I got there to pick them up, I'm told its $662. They've charged $25 each dog for a "vet visit" to administer the flu vaccine, given them all the bordatella vaccine that I wasn't made aware of and one dog didn't need, and a fecal exam on another that I wasn't aware of. Due to someone's negligence, the QUOTE wasn't saved in the system and so they had nothing to compare my bill to. Also, nothing adds up to $484 evenly so they didn't believe me to start with due to someone else's incompetence. They did remove $75 from my bill for the "vet visit" charge. When I told them I'd pay the $484 and discuss the balance with the manager when she came in the next day, they said I had to pay the full $587 in order to take my dogs home. They're intent was to hold my dogs hostage! That is bad business, poor service, and outright wrong. They are taking advantage of people by throwing in charges, not telling you about it and just expecting you to pay what they've come up with. I am finished. I have trusted them for four years with my babies and I'm done.

I am very appreciative of Dr. Faircloth and the staff at DAH. Especially dealing with my puppy having seizures. They took very good care with all the exams, running diagnostics on him and finding the right medication to help. I’m sad I’m having to leave but greatful for the experience!

Due to Covid I haven't actually been in the place but the interaction with the staff that I've had has been great. Their kind and work fast to get things done that needs to be. They work hard to ease the burden that covid has caused so their drop off and pick up works extremely well for me.

Dr Williams is the best around. He cares for the animals that come through the door like they were his own. The staff is amazing. Always so happy and helpful. We have been taking our fur babies to Dogwood since 2004 and will never take them anywhere else.

Dogwood has been our vet since we got Ace as puppy. This place has absolutely been the best place to him and us. Everyone there takes an interest to your furbaby and cares about them as if it was there own. Everyone there knew and loved Ace and Ace loved them back. He was always happy and jumped the front desk to greet everyone there. Sadly he passed away last week. As our family grieves and moves on without seeing his floppy ears or his thunderous bark, we recieved this today from everyone there. Thank you for the care and love you gave him and thank you for this card. It means so much to me and my family. RIP Ace "The Face"

Dr. Faircloth is absolutely amazing! She is very helpful, knowledgeable, kind and she really listens. My dog was recently diagnosed with stage 5 lymphoma and she has made this so much easier. The staff is very kind and helpful as well! They squeezed us in despite having a booked schedule. I will recommend Dogwood and Dr. Faircloth to everyone that wants a great vet.

First && final visit wasn’t a pleasant one. Will not be going back or recommending this vet to any of my fur baby friends. Aweful customer service. Didn’t even get a chance to make it in the back because the lady dragged her feet on assisting me n my fur baby, WHEN I CLEARLY TOLD HER I WAS IN A HURRY, to do a simple nail trim! Waited 40+minutes!! Ridiculous and sad!! 1st impressions are everything and they ruined it, sad bc they are 2minutes from my house ????

My dog's nails were trimmed after his yearly check-up. The tech cut a nail too close injuring him. Mistakes happen and that is not the issue. The issue is no one informed me of the injury. After getting him home his nail started bleeding all over my house. I called back to office and the tech knew which nail and let me know they put blood stop on it in office. Them choosing to try to treat the nail and not disclosing the injury to me felt like a cover-up and I would never trust my animal in their care again, especially during Covid times where I can not be with him in office.

Not only is Dogwood Animal Hospital the best vet in town. Working for Dogwood is even better. Not a day goes by that I don’t learn something new. The doctors are very compassionate and only have the pets best interest in mind. Here’s to 11 more years!!

I went there for an ER visit for my cat who could've lost her life. The staff was wonderful in helping me out. They took care of her and helped me figure out a way to pay off my debt.
