I used to use them more, but the last two times I boarded my dog here I've had issues. Once, they required a dog flu vaccine when my vet didn't recommend it because the dog flu wasn't bad then in our area. The second time, I got to the kennel and they told me bordetella was to be every 6 months (vet does yearly vaccines) and then they put him in the cat kennel. I would have taken him with us if we weren't on our way to vacation. Otherwise, staff is nice.

I think it’s ridiculous that my female dog has to be spayed to participate in doggie day care if she is not in heat.

Made a reservation for dog care prior to TDY. spent over $200 getting all of the vaccines required per Days Inn guidelines. Turned away the day prior to the trip because dog hadn't had vaccines long enough.

My dog has been attending their daycare for five years. He loves it and they love him.

My dog wags her tail excitedly whenever we go, which shows me she's really happy there. The staff clearly loves dogs. I use them for both Day Care and Boarding.

I was really optimistic about this place because it was referred to me by a friend and my situation was urgent. The receptionist was very nice but unfortunately I didn’t know he was new and had no idea the company’s policies. Over the phone I was told as long as my dog had her first Bordetella vaccine she would be fine as long as I planned to get her second one. Awesome, I scheduled it for the next day. I also said my dog isn’t spayed yet since she’s still a puppy and again, absolutely no problem. I had the vet email my dogs vaccination records (which they confirmed by showing me they sent it). The morning I walk us in for my dog’s trial day, a young lady (also new) didn’t ask my name, or my dog’s name and took my dog and I looked at her confused and asked what I’m supposed to do because this was my first time in. She told me to sign in and I asked her if they got the email from my vet. The girl then apologized and said she’s new and didn’t really know what to do. I think maybe the manager or owner came in and started walking me through the process of enrolling my dog. She can’t find the email from my vet so she calls them and immediately stops the check in when she learns about the second Bordetella. I told her that their receptionist told me it was okay as long as the first round had been administered. She discredited him and denied that being okay with company policy. I understand and she then asks if my dog is spayed. I say no and she stops me again and quickly adds that company policy won’t allow my puppy to play during play time because she’s not spayed. Again, I tell her that the receptionist said it was fine and she discredited him again. I finally took my dog back and suggested maybe they should train their staff to know company policies before putting them as receptionists.

I originally used Dog Days Inn because of their proximity to my office. I only went for a couple of weeks and my otherwise happy dogs seemed terrified when they were picked up and after a few days had to be drug in because they were so scared! These dogs are happy to trot into the Vet, but terrified of a boarding facility? What gives? They've boarded and participated in daycare all over the country so this isn't new to them, but something made them not want to go to DDI any longer.. The last day they were there one of my dogs came home with a broken/bloody nail. After a couple days of dragging them in and then the broken nail, I just stopped going with them and found a new daycare option that they absolutely love and is also cheaper, so win win! The building for the new daycare is also brand new and makes me feel way more comfortable than the sketchy looking building downtown.

We have been in town on work for a month and decided to take my girl here instead of leaving her at the hotel.... I was a bit worried at first because she's doesn't do well with me and other dogs but they eased her into the play group and she loves it!!!! She jumps out of the car everyday ready to go in and they are so friendly!!! Would definitely recommend dog days to anyone!!!!

I cannot say enough about Dog Days Inn. They are amazing! I took my boy in to see how he would do, because he needed some socialization with other dogs. I came back to a very happy Charlie! Thank you Dog Days Inn for an amazing experience! My boy was tired from all his play time he had! We will definitely be back!

My dog went yesterday for his first day of daycare. He got a good report and was actually tired when he got home (he is rarely tired). I will definitely be bringing him back to play soon!

Our hound had the best vacation ever. If he is happy, we are happy. We checked on his activities on FB. He stayed here for almost 2 weeks during the Christmas break, we were out of the country. We will definitely come back. Thanks for taking such great care of our Teddy.
