Found the most cutest doggy. I had to take him to animal control where, I know he'll be safe and cared for. The staff there was, very professional and caring.

Called about a situation where dogs were tied up all day, now the dogs are back in the house keeping warm. All is good.

Such a nice and clean facility. The staff was super friendly at the front offices. And the staff in the back, my goodness I dont know how they keep all the animal's feed and clean. But they do with a smile. Its amazing to see such caring people take care of our pets. Thank you Animal Control for all that you do.

I am a volunteer at this shelter in the spay/neuter program for stray and ferrell cats and have recently started with tame cats. We also treat other animals that are stray and have been injured. This program is amazing because it is curtailing the over population of stray or unwanted animals in our county. Everyone involved with this shelter works diligently to find forever homes for these animals. ❤

We recently adopted a pitbull mix and they were great! We had to wait a little but once they took us back they were very helpful and considerate about what kind of dog we were looking for. It breaks my heart to see so many dogs in need of homes and not being able to help them all but we rescued jazz and renamed her Mia. They only charged us $100 and we got to take her home the same day and immediately scheduled a spaying appointment for her. Love her so much!

Went in on December 20th to check out the pups and we came out with a new edition to our family(just in time to celebrate Christmas with us). Thank you to whoever gave up this sweet girl. She has a sweet disposition, good energy, and she's a super cuddle bug. Also, the employees were great and helpful. Thank you all soo much.

They act as if they don't care for the wild animal. I didn't ask the animal to be in my yard but too uncaring to get baby kittens out of a tree. How can they get down when they are just babies? I don't have a ladder.

Was here about 30 minutes before close and they clearly didnt want me here and kept saying well we are about to close “we close in 10minutes” “we close in 4 minutes.” I used to work in a dog shelter and if someone was looking to get a dog out of our shelter we would stay hours late to accommodate that. This goes to show that these people don’t care about their jobs and dont care about getting these dogs a home. I was actively showing my dogs to the adoptee and the lady that had the dog on the choke collar had it way too low and was choking this dog so bad of course the dog was uncomfortable so i had to move up the collar on my own. She obviously had no training on how to read dog behavior either. Place needs a whole rescape, if i could put 0 stars i would.

Love the place and staff. They always have plenty of larger dogs(unfortunately the little ones always get adopted quick). Recently adopted 3 cats for the family and we love them. Great adoption prices as well and services that come with it. Highly recommend.

This is where I saved my baby boy, Winston. I give this place a general experience review over experience and the place together itself. Please keep in mind it is an animal control area. I have been to very few and as far as the place goes there could be worse places. As far as sanitation goes once again this place is an animal shelter with very many cats and dogs from abused to strays. Sadly animals do not stay long, but with all of that being said for the type of place I say it's pretty clean all things considered. With all of that rubbish out of the way the staff was friendly to me and before he was named Winston they seemed like they treated him as well as can be with all going on over there. The staff despite all the hectivity they still carried themselves very respectfully and treated you and your future new family member with respect. The front office paper work etc was easy enough and they too were nice im sure they get all walks of life people down there so they still treat you good. Im happy I came here and got my boy. Before leaving They even let me put a collar on him that way he knew I waa really coming back they were really cool about this. So to me a great experience and they seem to care.

The staff here impressed me in the love and care they show these animals. The place is very clean and sanitized. It was heartbreaking to look into the eyes of these wonderful dogs and not be able to take them all home.Breeders are asking an arm and a leg for purebred dogs ($1000 to $4000) Here for a fraction of that you get an animal who loves you just as good or better then any pure bred. Please consider adoption first.

This place is overloaded, not enough help, attitudes and rudeness, they do not take care otheir animals , and the animals get sick inside. No respect, and finally, no care at all for the general public. I do not recommend any one coming here unless it's to save those babies

The staff was very helpful and you could tell they really care for the animals. My only complaint is no one answers the phone or returns calls when messages were left.

The TNVR program for Feral cats is a great help to those of us who want to help control the spread of cats that have been abandoned or been living in the wild. The people at CCAS have been awesome in implementing and helping with this program. I am very grateful to them

I am incredibly appreciative of the staff here, a severely emaciated stray kitten collapsed on my property and they allowed me to bring the poor baby in so they could try to save it's life. Thank you so, so much for your kindness, your patience, and your help and dedication to saving lives.

If my dog attacks another dog he is locked up for 10 days, even after i show vaccine records. I get bit by a dog from out of state I'm told they will turn over to the home state. They can't prove dog had his vaccines. Makes no sense.

I adopted my kitten from this place and I found out today that he has FIP and has to be put down next week. If anyone adopted a kitten from the front room of this place on or around June 29th, be aware that your kitten probably has it too as it is viral

Very pleased with courtesy and professionalism at facility. Were told kittens are not euthanized, but kept until adoption. Visited Jelly Bean 1 week after turning him in, in play room. Well organized and clean. About 10 kittens all about Jelly Bean's age were playing. Litter boxes clean, fresh food, plastic modules for privacy, and scratching post. With coordination with PetSmart Ramsey St, he was shown as adoptable immediately. I kept him the required 10 day minimum for meds, which made him mine. Was found in our driveway. They neuter with at least 2 lbs. That was done fairly quickly which made him more desirable. Thought he would be at PetSmart for National Pet Adoption Week, but he was adopted after only 12 days. I hope they love him as much as I did after only 2 weeks. CCAC were caring and helpful. I had to change his initial description from brown and 17 wks to grey and 9 weeks. Emailed the director. This was corrected within a day or two. She actually went to see him to verify changes. Much appreciated, highly recommended for found or rehoming kittens. Carla Welsh

They were very nice. One guy gave us the wrong hours. We drove all night from PA. Had to wait 3 hours before they opened. Not happy with that.

Stopped in on Monday to rescue a dog that was going to be put down. Fortunately he had been rescued. Though I had no appointment the staff was super friendly and patient with me while looking at 5 dogs. Since this was my first rescue dog I was very nervous. The staff made the process simple and pain free. Thank you to everyone involved on Monday morning. I loved the experience and I love my new boy.

Staff was courteous and friendly but a bit overwhelmed. It was very busy and my wait time was long. But I got my fur baby so worth the wait.

A dog named Chance had an adopter coming Thursday (August 12, 2021) to get him after a phone call with staff the day before. They KNEW Chance was getting adopted the next day. They open at 11. The adopter was there by 10:30 and waited. Chance was killed an hour after the Wednesday phone call. The staff had offered the adopter the money raised for Chance, and food. THEY KNEW. AND THEY KILLED HIM. And got to keep money raised for him. They let the adopter drive two hours for nothing. What a place that I WILL NEVER SUPPORT.

Adopted a 1 year old dog on Monday 26 July 2021. Was told the dog was very gentile, Kid friendly, and Dog friendly, Took the beautiful dog home. Then we got it home and it became very very aggressive and territorial. The dog bit me traying to kill my Service Dog, growled and lounged towards my son. I understand they can not know this about all dogs/puppies but they could at least let you exchange in situations like this but NOPE they kept my $100 adoption fee and would not even let us get another dog or puppy. Instead I was told I should have left my family in danger and gave it more time. I feel that is ridiculous I should be allowed to get a non aggressive dog. I will never attempt to get another animal from this shelter.

We have two pit bills that are running free EVERY day on our street. They are aggressive towards humans and other animals. This has been going on over a year with multiple complaints with videos and pictures sent to Animal control and they do NOTHING!!! Why do taxpayers pay for this service when it's a worthless?????
