I bring my dog here, and love them! Everyone is nice and they always fit me in quickly! I loved Dr. Rasor and Dr. Otis!

Shandon Wood Animal Clinic has provided quality care for my pets for over 30 years. The veterinarians and the staff are very understanding, courteous, knowledgable and helpful. On May 12 I took my Doberman Desi to SWAC after discovering a couple of lumps. After a thorough examination which included needle aspirations of the lumps, Dr. Otis reassured me that there was no sign of malignancy and no cause to worry. It is a relief to have the results of procedures while I am in the clinic. I continually recommend Shandon Wood Animal Clinic without reservation to all those who want the best care possible for their pets.

The staff and doctors were welcoming and treated our dogs with great care. Their love for animals showed even with our high strung GSP”s.

I have gone to Shandon since I first brought my puppy home almost a year ago and I have also brought my foster dogs here as well. They have always been very professional and I have never felt a judgmental attitude from any of employees, even when I had a highly anxious, dog aggressive foster with horrible skin allergies. Prices are a bit expensive but every form of treatment I have received for my dogs have worked, and my foster dog with skin issues eventually ended up looking like a whole new dog once his fur finally grew back. They are also very quick in replying to emails and will help you with any issues you may have concerning their online pharmacy.

Not pleased. They forgot to give my dog rabies shot in August. The administration said they would waive the visit fee and just charge me for the rabies shot. They didnt even check his weight before giving him a rabies shot 3 months later. Very unprofessional

I only wish I’d found my place with Shannon-Wood Animal Clinic 2 years ago. I’m hoping to keep this clinic a secret so they want have everyone switching and bringing their furry family members here. ???? The front staff is patient and wonderful to all. The whole staff is the same as front staff. I’ve had all my questions and concerns answered which have been many! I’ve never once felt like I needed to rush. I’ve found my place for my furry cat and could not be more relaxed with anything that might come up concerning his health and well-being. I know that Shandon is on my side. Ok that sounded like a State Farm Ins ripoff. Sorry but true!

I brought my cat here in October for severe food poisoning. They got me an appointment within a couple days even though we were new clients. The staff was great with him. They handled him so gently and got him the meds he needed to get back to his adventurous self. Thank you for taking such good care of my sweet boy.

I always have a great experience taking my cats to Shandon-Wood Animal Clinic. I have been going there for six years. Dr. Murdock, the other veterinarians, veterinary technicians and assistants are all excellent and provided superior service. They are all very compassionate. I highly recommend this clinic.

I can’t say enough good things about SWAC. Their new kitten package is incredibly affordable and the entire staff is so good to me and my kitten. I love the report cards they send after each visit- especially the personal notes from the vet. I can tell how much they care for their patients and recommend them to everyone!

Dr. Rasor and the other Vets and staff at Shandon-Wood have always done an excellent job with our boys Samson and Chipper. They are always friendly, caring and know their stuff. Highly recommend them!

Always take great care of our dogs and although they are constantly busy it is worth having them as our vet. We especially love Dr. Razor.

This is a great group of people who love animals - every doctor that has seen my dog has been kind, professional, and attentive. All the techs and support staff are great too - plus they have long hours and weekend hours to accommodate hectic work schedules. Highly recommend this place for all your pet health needs!

Dr Cheryl Sine and Shandonwood Animal Clinic are the absolute best. Dr Sine saved my now 7 year old dog from Parvo as a puppy. She is kind and truly cares. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to take care of my dog children!

My 9 month old Frenchie loves going to Shandon-Wood. Dr. Otis is incredibly compassionate, knowledgeable, and it’s not hard to tell that he has a genuine love for animals. There is nowhere else I’d rather take my fur baby.

Dr. Rasor and the team at Shandon-Wood are amazing! Their customer service and the way they care for my dogs is truly head and shoulders above the rest. They’re like the Chick-fil-A of vet offices or the Publix if you’re talking about a grocery store. My dogs get excited when I say “we are going to see Dr Rasor” & run to the door for their harnesses; that makes my fur momma heart feel good to know they are comfortable and feel good about vet visits.

I LOVE SWAC. My Great Dane is right at 185lbs and more than a handful as he is dog reactive and needs to be in a muzzle for the vets office. They are always receptive and professional. They make a stressful experience for my dog and myself as easy as it can possibly be. I trust “Doc” (Dr. Atkinson) 100% and have for over 20 years. I won’t take him anywhere else if I can help it.

Finding a new vet when you move can always be a concern. Luckily, a friend recommended SWAC to me, and they have taken wonderful care of my dog for two years. They're always thorough and treat her incredibly well, and they even check in after visits to see how she's doing. I'm moving yet again, and I hope to find a vet as caring and respectful as SWAC when we settle into our next home.

Doctors and staff here actually take a one on one interest on you and on your pet...great service all the way around.

The Dr. was very thorough and took the time to listen to my concerns, answer my questions and offer multiple treatment options.

They are nothing but kind and helpful every interaction that we have. You can tell that they genuinely care for the pets and will do everything they can to help you.

Always takes care of my cats and they are on top of making sure they remind you of when the next apt is due!

I’ve only been to this vet twice in the past two years since I’m a new pet owner. I went here because I had a friend that worked there and I trusted her. They were super professional and reasonable with pricing etc. I went for my second annual vaccination with my dog recently and it was not the same experience. I told them I wanted a lot less done this time because I didn’t have the money to do all the extra stuff that he didn’t need. They said no problem. I also told them I needed to drop off in the morning and pick up after I got off work because we don’t have enough employees for me to leave work mid day to pick up and take him all the way home. They said no problem and that there would not be boarding fees. So I got less shots and no blood work done so you would expect my bill to be less than last year right? Wrong. I paid $500 for a simple annual. When the previous year I only paid a little under $400. And on top of that they threatened to charge me boarding fees if I didn’t come pick him up within an hour or so. So I had to leave work and put my coworker in a tight spot for an hour because they lied to me. And they did not warn me of their price increase at all. I’m 23 and working full time but $500 is still a lot of money for me to just drop on something. You would think they would give an estimate before hand like I was given last year. But I guess you only get treated with decency as long as you have connections. Why don’t you tell your customers what the cost for your vaccines is going to be before hand? Because if I had known I would have gotten the same shots for half the price somewhere else.... The people who work there seem very nice but that’s not enough unfortunately. Whoever bought this company last year has ruined it. All they care about now are the numbers. I will not be returning. Hope the $500 was worth your reputation.
