Absolutely love Dr. Griffin and her staff.

Excellent veterinarian! Staff was very pleasant and attentive. I feel like my dogs and cats are well cared for.

My wife and I moved to Columbia a few years ago with our pet cat. We inquired about good vets in the area, and we were referred by one of my wife's coworkers to Griffin AH. Since then, we've added two more cats to the family, and we go to Griffin for all of their needs. We feel that they really care about our fur babies, are always courteous and communicative with us, and have even gone out of their way several times to make appointments for emergent needs. (Our middle cat had a fever at one point, and they squeezed him in same day, kept him an monitored him all day, while communicating with me throughout. Another time I saw a car throw a kitten out its window while driving down Assembly Street, which I recovered, and called them about. They saw him the same day to make sure that he was [miraculously] ok.) What makes this so impressive is that they always seem very busy, so I know it isn't like they just have free time on their hands. They definitely make us feel like they our on our team, and we are happy that they are our vet here in Columbia. Thank you folks for all you do!

Such a great first visit and impression. Everyone was attentive and informative. I loved that they called the following day to see how things were going after our visit. No complaints from me or my cat. Dr. Callaghan was great. Thanks for making us feel at home.

Our little Millie girl was found in a ditch as a stray in very bad shape. She spent her 1st week being nursed back to health at Griffin Animal Hospital. Afterwards my husband and I decided to adopt her. Best decision ever! We wouldn’t take Millie anywhere else as Dr Griffin treats Millie as if she were her own. Dr Griffin is knowledgeable and attentive to every need. If you are looking for a Vet office and an incredible Veterinarian, look no further!

Really helped me when I was in an emergency type situation after relocating here. Took care of my two cats. Staff is friendly and the place is clean, professional, and affordable.

This is the second time I have take my dog for grooming because she needed it and they had the closest available appointment. For reference, my dog is a 2 year old English springer. The first time I took her in I got a call saying that she had an ear infection and they needed to do cytology. I promptly told them no because I had been to the vet not even a week prior where they did cytology and told me everything was fine. I go to pick her up and they in fact did the cytology, charged my for an entire exam because the vet was the one that had to do the cytology, and medications. I reluctantly paid and left. After a little while I believed that this was not right and called back. Janice, one of the ladies at the front, was very helpful and got me my money back. After how swiftly it was handled I decided to try it again today. I dropped her off at 7:30am. By the time that it was 4 pm I still had not heard anything from them regarding pickup. I am a student at the university and was in class so my boyfriend called. They told him they forgot to call me and that she was ready. I went by to pick her up on my way home. When I arrived the newest receptions, I believe her name was melena was extremely nice and very understanding. She told me that the vet tech needed to speak with me. As soon as the vet tech came out, she showed me millies medication and put it in her ears. I immediately began questioning her because nobody had ever called me to tell me what was wrong. She then informed me that Millie had an ear infection, same thing as last time, that I bought the medication for and nothing helped. This time I refused to pay it. They attempted to charge me for a vet exam, cytology, and the medication, which is 1/3 of the price elsewhere. I promptly told them that I would not be paying for something that I didn’t not consent to and never got called about. Dr. Callaghan then came out to speak with me. She again tried to tell me how to put millies medicine in her ear but I stopped her and told her somebody had already showed me but I did not understand why I was being charged for something I did not get a call about. They then took off the price of the cytology, vet exam, and medication, which I greatly appreciate. Dr. c then comes back up the hallway and said that the vet tech had already used the medication on millies ears and that I needed to pay for it. I again told her no, I wasn’t even told what the medication was before they did it, nor did I say they could. She proceeded to throw the medication down the hallway while simultaneously cursing me out. She called me a “b****” and yelled to “make a note in my fing chart because she wasn’t doing this again”. Again, the lady at the front was so nice and apologized, but I will never be back. The unprofessionalism and disrespect was unbelievable. They very clearly only care about the money.

A friend took her dog Swish here. They took care of him very well. He is a very big dog.

Love the Vets and the staff there. Everyone is so nice, including the "staff" animals that greet you when you arrive!

One star is too much for them trust me! They are not pet friendly at all and the only thing they care is money! The doctor prescribes anyibiotics for everything and prices are too high. Our dog never got better! Do not trust this people with your pets.

I WOULD GIVE 0 IF I COULD! I took my dog there back in June becuase of the skin problem he had. I was so scared and stressed but there were no other appontments open in other places so as soon as I got the appointment I was in Griffin! first of all prices are too high and well I did not mind that as I was worried of my dog. But my first impression from that lady called Dr… was a Money Digger! instead of taking care of my dog’s problem at that moment she was busy selling me Heartgaurd and Nextguard and telling me Costco Pharmacy is not good with selling these product. Ok! I took my dog home and I bought thoes dewormers from them but they were just as the same as Costco ????! and about my dog’s problem!!!!! he never got better! I called her 4 weeks later and she prescribed the same antibiotics, and still nothing. it has been almost 2 months and I have spent lots of money to this place and my dog has the same problem. I called again (for the third time) and they say as you are not in Colombia right now, take your dog to another place!!! my point is they didnt care about my dog at the first place and did not recognize the problem at all! you can not prescribe antibiotics to every thing. The only thing they care is Money Money and Money! do not trust this people at all.

Dr. Callaghan and staff made me and my new puppy feel at ease. They were very friendly and accommodated a last minute appointment during the holiday season????. I would highly recommend this facility.

While traveling, our Papillon had a life threatening heat stroke. As a walk-in, with no ties to the Practice, Dr. Griffin and her team took immediate control and were able to save our beloved family pet. Our many and sincere thanks to a wonderful staff and practice.

I had my first visit with Dr. Griffin today. I was very impressed by her and her staff. Really clean nicely decorated office. Dr. Griffin was great with my dog who has severe anxiety issues. I will definitely use her as my vet from now on.

We took our pup here for the first time and it was absolutely amazing! The previous vet we took him to couldn't give us clear answers like Dr. Callaghan could. She took the time to get to know not only our pup, but us and our pups history! Very clean, very professional, very nice doctors and staff! We highly recommend this vet for your pup!

We have an 85 pound Belgian Malinois who is a very sweet dog, until the doctor wants to examine him! Jethro developed an ear infection and had to see the vet. He wanted nothing to do with someone examining his ears, but Dr. Callaghan was incredible with our cranky pooch. She showed the patience and perseverance needed to give Jethro the care he needed. The Griffin Animal Hospital is hands down the most amazing group animal care of professionals I've ever met. Everyone in the office cares about your best friend. That's a great feeling. Thanks Dr. Callaghan and the whole crew! Update: fast forward 2 years and our now 90lb cranky boy has been seeing Dr. Callaghan for recurring ear issues. About a year ago Dr. Callaghan recommended we change Jethro's food to a Science Diet recipe that helps dogs overcome allergens. Over time as Jethro ate his new diet the ear issues have disappeared. She nailed it! It changed his life and ours. If you don't bring your pet to the Griffin Animal Hospital I recommend you start. I've been to a lot of Veterinarians and this office is the best!

They take excellent care of my dog! I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Griffin, so far she has been one of the best and most knowledgeable vets I have ever been to. They have been so kind to us, and the staff always says hello and goodbye to my dog by name! It makes us feel special!

Great staff. Dr Griffin took the time to get to know me and my dog and her history. My very shy pup warmed up to her well. Dr. Griffin personally takes the time to to explain health questions, and I feel truly cares about the health of my dog. She’s too the point and honest. Very appreciated. They are also incredibly fair with their pricing. I have never had a vet like them. Amazing and will recommend to anyone in the Columbia area.

Wow!! Dr Callaghan is the absolute BEST!! Our cat has had chronic upper respiratory infection for years, and we have seen a dozen vets trying to get it under control. Dr Callaghan presented us with a number of different options based on our budget and provided us with knowledge so that we could make the best decision for our cat. Their prices are fair and our cat loved the staff! We are so happy that we found Griffin Animal Clinic and recommend them to all our friends!!

The staff is always so courteous and professional and my dog's groomer always does an amazing job with Apollo. I would recommend Griffin Animal Hospital to anyone.

I called on a Sunday afternoon, without being a current patient, and Dr. Griffin and her associate Sarah met me and my cat within the hour. Their prices are reasonable and their compassionate service is unparalleled.
