Whiskers Dog Spa Charlotte, South Carolina

My dog is a somewhat rare breed with unusual grooming requirements. He's a Chinese Crested Powderpuff, and the groomers here must have either known how to groom him or done some research on the breed. He's always perfectly trimmed, and he's always happy to see the folks at Whiskers.

10/9/21 update: still love this place. Clean, soft and smells great!!! Great place! We started bringing our Golden here last year and she always looks great and smells so fresh!

Our regular groomer(s) have either closed their doors (due to the pandemic) or are so booked out (2 months+) that we had to find a new groomer. Lucky for us we found Whiskers Dog Spa. Dropped off at 9AM and he was ready by 11AM! That's the fasted I've ever experienced AND they did a fantastic job. Pricing is similar to other groomers around town.

This place is amazing. There’s a lady there with very curly hair and glasses (i can’t think of her name) she’s super sweet. However, when she’s not there the customer service isn’t all that great at the front desk. I’ve had a few instances of when she’s not working my dog doesn’t get dried off. By that I mean the attempt wasn’t even made and I definitely paid for the dry off. I know he can be a hassle but he’ll let you dry him off. Once I did call to ask why that was and I was go en a bit of attitude for it when I did pay the full price for the service. Other than that this place is great and I do love it. Again I can’t remember the ladies name but she has like a brownish reddish curly hair with glasses and is usually always at the front desk. She’s amazing.

The groomer came out so that my wife could explain what she wanted done. Her time estimate was close and we were pleased with the results.

Today was our first experience with the groomer as referred to us by a Facebook group we were very nervous in the beginning. It was as if we were sending to our kid to first day of school kind of nervous...lolhowever when we got there they made us feel very comfortable as well as our puppy. Amber was amazing !She went by exactly what we had said and pictures and was very impressed ! We will definitely be going back

You would think that they would know how to groom each breed of dog they are servicing, but they do not. Even after you repeatedly tell them how to it is very hit and miss if they go by your directions. My fox terrier comes out looking like a fluffed up poodle more times than not. Will no longer use them...too bad since they are only 5 min from our house and seem to be nice people.

The BEST EVER! No one could ask for more from this wonderful, very personal pet grooming business. Thankfully it’s local for us but I would drive a good distance for their services. Prices are great for medium to large dogs though small dogs, ours 7 lbs., it’s a bit pricey. Again, THE BEST!

Whiskers is AWESOME! They do a great job grooming my 18 pound mixed breed and washing my 83 lb Lab. Both dogs walk right in and aren't afraid at all. Whisker's is very prompt too. I highly recommend them for your dog grooming needs.

Whiskers staff is professional and friendly. I know that my dog is treated well, and always has a great cut and smells great after being groomed. Highly recommend!

We love Whiskers. Appointments are scheduled in a timely manner and we get a call as soon as our dog is ready! That way they don’t have to be away from us all day! They are very patient with our large, crazy dog and we have always had great haircuts! Highly recommend!

I've taken my girl to Whiskers many times for nail trimmings, desheds and baths. She always comes out glowing and happy. The people at Whiskers are all very professional and super nice! I highly recommend Whiskers Dog Spa.

Whiskers has been a blessing to me. They are always friendly and gentle with our fur baby. My mini-doxie absolutely hates getting his nails trimmed. I have tried doing it myself, but it is impossible! I've taken him to other places which was traumatizing. Whiskers has done a fantastic job keeping him calm during the process. I definitely recommend this place.

Wiskers Dog Spa, time and time again, never disappoints. They are awesome. They listen to your needs and requests, and actually deliver on them! They remember you pup and greet him upon arrival. Their groomers are gentle your pet. My pup is a little anxious about vets, groomers, general riding in my car but he responds as if he knows Wiskers is a safe place for him. Their sign up system works well and generally you get the time that you request. They run on time and are a very efficient, clean and above all friendly operation!

Brought our dog here several times for a groom/nail trim. They are always very responsive and seem to take good care of the dogs and keep it clean. The employees are always very friendly and treat your dog like their own. Definitely will continue to bring Bear here. Thanks!

We love Whiskers! After trying several other groomers all of whom made us feel as if we we were inconveniencing them, we found Diane and her wonderful staff to be friendly, professional, and loving to our little Dash. At first he was a little afraid to be with the other dogs so Diane put him in her closed front office area with her. That meant a lot! They always ask our preferences, keep records of that they did before, give us an expected time frame and call us promptly when he is ready. We can’t imagine going anywhere else!

Our dog Calvin loves, loves, LOVES going to Whiskers. He starts "talking" before we even pull into the parking lot. They take great care of him.

I get an appointment quickly and the staff are consistently friendly and professional. They treat me and my pet with respect and TLC. I have referred family and friends to Whiskers Dog Spa.

Whiskers is always very caring to Stella. They do a fantastic bathing and clipping job. She is never upset coming or going and she's usually somewhat of a neurotic dog. I will continue to take her to Whiskers!!!!
