West Ballantyne Animal Hospital is amazing. Through the years, they have cared for both of our dogs - with honesty, integrity, compassion, and great concern for their well being and ours. Today was time to put our almost 18 year old dog to sleep. They got us in immediately, showed great concern, handled everything so professionally and with such comforting demeanor and we are very thankful. Our family is so grateful to have them care for our dogs. Thank you again.

Overall the staff is very nice. They were one of the few vets during the pandemic that let you video chat while your pet was being treated. I do feel Dr. Linfante is thorough. I do also feel he can be a bit rude if you have any questions about his diagnosis or treatment plan. I asked Dr. Linfante to send me the blood test an urinalysis results and his immediate response was "I will send it but you won't understand it". I feel that's very assumptive and rude. For all he knows, I deal with data like this all day. When he told me he would send them but I won't understand them, I asked him to then please add whatever information to the email he felt may be useful for me to understand the results, he refused and said he just verbally gave his recommendation. What if some folks don't retain info audibly and want things in writing? It was a lot of info to think about. Overall we like this vet. Dr. Linfante could probably reconsider the assumptions he makes about his patients parents and be more open to questions that may push back on his diagnosis when we trying to learn about what's going on and what type of commitment care may require. Leaving 4 stars because we believe the office as a whole is great.

LOVE WEST BALLANTYNE! We had a bad experience at our last Vet so was very nervous but fortunately I have been exceedingly impressed with the quality of care and customer service at WBAH. The staff is personable,passionate about their work and extremely caring. Dr. Linfante is very detail oriented and knowledgeable. Would give 10/10 !!! Dr. Linfante is the only vet I'm allowing near my dog daughter. I make sure to request him every time and if he's not available for whatever reason then I wait. I appreciate how attentive he is to my angel girl and makes sure she is well taken care of. I've been going to him since he opened. Only negative I would say is there's one girl that worked there in the front who always had a bad attitude. Other than that, I'm very pleased with both the doctor and the current staff.

We love West Ballantyne Animal Hospital - they truly care about their patients, have common sense solutions and great follow up - your fur baby is totally taken care of. Our dog and cat actually like to go to the Vet, and that never happened before!

Minnie and I had the most caring experience. From reception through to the Vet Tech, Tori to Dr. Miller we were treated with kindness beyond measure. Very knowledgeable and honest with her diagnosis. I would highly recommend West Ballantyne Animal Hospital.

I've been bringing my dog to West Ballantyne Animal Hospital since she was 11 weeks old. She is almost 5 now, and she loves going to the vet! The staff is amazing. They are super friendly and great with animals, while also being very professional and competent. They put so much effort in to make my dog comfortable and happy while they give her shots, clean her ears, etc, which I think is so important. It makes the experience so much better for both me and my pup. I can't imagine taking my dog anywhere else.

Absolutely love all of the staff here!! My dog used to be an anxious mess going to our previous vet but did SO good with the staff here! The vet gives a full exam (nose to tail) while explaining all about your pet's health during the exam and any recommendations he might have. Everyone answered any and all questions I had about my sweet baby. You can tell everyone here is truly passionate about their job! <3 HIGHLY recommend them!!!

Dr. Linfante is the most caring, invested vet I've ever seen. Extremely thorough and invited questions. Price points reasonable. I feel like all four of my babies are in good hands.

The staff at West Ballantyne are extremely caring and knowledgeable. The vet pointed out a few things we had not heard before from other vets and treated our pet with care. She took the time to explain and we went home much more informed and comfortable with what we had learned.

LOVE WEST BALLANTYNE! As a first time owner of a large, older rescue dog, I have been exceedingly impressed with the quality of care and customer service at WBAH. The staff is personable and truly care about your pet. I have been given excellent recommendations and money saving tips, as well. The staff is caring and Dr. Linfante is extremely knowledgeable. I have since moved to Huntersville but will continue coming to WBAH because they are so great. 10/10.

** PLEASE READ THE FULL REVIEW WITH THE UPDATE AT THE BOTTOM ** This is a great veterinarian’s office if you don’t mind being bankrupt. I loved the staff, and I loved how they cared for our dogs, but they actually tried to mark up our dog’s allergy prescription price/force us get the prescription at their clinic instead of sending it to Walmart like we asked (they do pet RX now). It was almost a $40 difference once we finally got them to relent. They will squeeze everything they can out of you— they tried to tell me that my dog needed bloodwork that was $500, and when I got another assessment at a different veterinarian, I was only charged $200. Save your money, and go elsewhere. EDIT A FEW DAYS LATER: Are you wondering why you don’t see any negative reviews on here? Well, it could be because the office tracks down anyone who leaves them. They used my information in their files and connected it to my name on my Google review to CALL ME ON MY PERSONAL PHONE to try to complain about my review and likely have me edit/rescind it. Professional businesses don’t utilize the PRIVATE contact information from their customers in that manner. This practice is a completely unprofessional joke, and apparently the office is run by bratty teenagers who don’t understand that you don’t always get 5 star reviews, and that you shouldn’t have the audacity to seek out a customer using their private information. Full stop. To y’all at the practice reading this, stop harassing me/my mom and accept the L.

Personable...Professional and overall the best Vet I've ever dealt with...The staff is beyond terrific and Dr. Tom is one of a kind....He spends more time discussing my pets options then my own Dr with me....Highly Recommend!!

Such a wonderful welcoming place to my furry child and I! This hospital warmly welcomed Sylvester and assisted us in the smoothest process of traveling, they really supported and helped me get all the documents needed as quickly and efficiently as possible.
