I bring all my fur babies there because not only do they care about the animals they actually know your name and and the people who work there are wonderful.

We brought our 16 week old rescue pup here for her first visit and she loved it! The staff (from reception to doc) is friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The facility is clean/welcoming and scheduling was a breeze. We will be back!

I am a breeder and new to the area. I have been with my same Vet in Montana for 10 years. I was concerned about the loss of having the familiarity and trust that I had with my Vet of 10 years. I was treated like I had been a client for years. So caring and and knowledgeable. Honestly I loved the staff way more than my Montana Vets staff. This is a HUGE Blessing to find Companion animal Clinic.

I had an issue with my 8 week old puppy, Kobe. I called several vets and they all said take him to the emergency room. I called Companion Veterinarian Hospital and they took him right in. They were very friendly, kind to my puppy, and even contacted me next day to see how he was doing. They also did not do a lot of unnecessary tests on him. They will be my new puppy’s Veterinarian.

A friend recommended Companion Animal Hospital after I moved to the area. I made an appointment for my three dogs and saw Dr. Parlier. I was so impressed with the appointment! It's not easy having 3 dogs in a small room, so they brought in extra techs to help us manage and multi-task. Everyone was so kind and professional. They made the appointment incredibly smooth and easy. Dr. Parlier herself was very kind, thorough, and professional. I was incredibly impressed at the whole experience, and will definitely be bringing my dogs back here!

Twenty-five years ago, my vet employed a young veternarian who was able to do diagnostic procedures that the vet owner said he did not know how to do. This procedure saved our kitty. Then we moved. Our beloved Buick had a major issue, and three vets were saying to put him down. I remembered how Dr. Curtsinger was on top of all vet issues, so I found him again, thank God. Dr. Curtsinger gave our precious Buick another 7 years of life. We have traveled lots longer to have Dr. Curtsinger and his staff care for our kitties (and soon a Golden retriever!). I could write a book about Dr. Curtsinger and his staff. I am so thrilled that we now live in Waxhaw and they are only minutes away.

Dr. Curtsinger, other vets, and staff have treated my family dogs for almost 20 years. The entire staff is very knowledgeable and skilled, and they are very personable and caring with pets and their "parents." Dr. Curtsinger in particular has a strong understanding of the practical balance of treatment options versus what is the best thing for the pet and the parent. He fully informs on a health condition and all options (including risks of treating as well as not treating), and he then shares what he would do for his own pet. Veterinary services can be very expensive, so practical advice is very important and greatly appreciated.

Our goto! Amazing place for any pet parent!

Extremely disappointed with my experience with Companion Animal Hospital this afternoon. I had a 5 PM wellness visit for my lab and arrived 15 minutes late (I checked my time as I got out of the car)I was met with a curt, “Are you Zoe? You were supposed to be here at 5.” I explained that traffic was awful due to the rain storm that just moved through and she said she had called (my parents) and spoke with my dad. That would have been approximately 5:10 and he told her I was on my way. She continued to tell me over and over “she has to leave” and wanted to reschedule my appointment. They were aware I was not far away and still closed. The business hours are listed as being open until 6 PM, but at 5:15 the entire front was shut down. It is difficult for me to get our dog to the vet. I live in Charlotte, rushed to my parents home in rush hour traffic and rain just to make this appointment. My father has become ill and immobile in the last year and my mother is unable to handle our lab on her own these days. Many appointments such as this fall to me. If the business hours are not truly until 6 PM it needs to be noted and stated when making the appointment. I cannot believe I had such a stressful afternoon trying to get there, to be told I had to reschedule because she had to leave, before the office even closed! Some consideration and flexibility go a long way when dealing with customers. The lack of accommodation and poor customer service will cause our family to move all our animals.

We just moved to the area. My dog was ill and I called Companion Animal Hospital for an appointment. I was able to get an appointment that day. Khloe was treated so kindly, gently and professionally by everyone. The doctor, nurse and office staff were friendly, caring and helpful and the office was extremely clean. Overall, we had an excellent experience. I will absolutely recommend Companion to friends and absolutely use their services again for Khloe.

Extremely disappointed in the behavior and attitude of the staff when I called to request a quick consult (Phone, Tele visit or in person) for a concerning mass on the lip of my dog. I was just looking for a quick triage before going to the ER and was shocked by the apathy/reluctance of the staff to accommodate my request. I have had a long positive history with Dr.Curtsinger and have been been taking our pets to him since 2006. I have referred a number of friends and neighbors to him but cannot do so in good faith anymore after this experience.

We recently found a stray kitten and I brought him to Companion for multiple health issues. They were very kind and personable. Prices were reasonable and I am very happy with the care that my little Nebo received. I am switching my other cats to Companion as well, after the quality of care that I experienced.

I have been taking my beloved pups to Companion Animal Hospital Indian Land since I moved to South Carolina in 2017. I have been impressed with their care from the beginning. I have had numerous emergent issues with my dogs as well as planned visits. Whatever the situation, we are taken care of promptly and with expert care and compassion. Dr. Curtsinger, Dr. Parlier and Dr. Duncan handle all situations clearly, calmly and with expertise. This is a perfect practice for your pet’s entire life span. I brought my cat of 18 years here last year to be put to sleep after a very unpleasant experience with my own vet who could not have been less accommodating or even sympathetic to our situation. This group however could not have been more accommodating or sympathetic to our situation and we weren't even clients of theirs. I decided to switch vets and come here and could not be more satisfied not only with the care they provided my pet but with the professionalism they project. Awesome group.

We love this vet. They take care of our pups, with care and compassion. They are the best around. Highly recommend.
