I took my puppy here for her first grooming appointment and was not pleased with the haircut or lack of professionalism. When I called to make the appointment I was told it should only take an hour or two for grooming. I brought my dog in around 8 and ran some errands. I came back around 10:30 because I had to go to school and couldn’t pick her up later. When I arrived, I called to ask when she’d be done and they said they were finishing up. While on the phone, I was watching the groomer walk back into the vets office with Starbucks in hand. It’s early, I get it, but come on. It’s been almost 2 1/2 hours at this point and my dog is not ready. I walked in and told them I needed her now, they said they had not even started her haircut yet. Corgis shouldn’t have razors used on them so now her neckline is botched, even after a month it has not grown out properly. Needless to say, I will be going elsewhere next time.

Winston my Rhodesian Ridgeback loved his stay at Piper Glen Animal Hospital. He was bathed and nails clipped. The staff are really nice handling all the pets. Very professional.

This is my second time taking my Zena to their groomer. I absolutely love her haircut. She remembered us, and I asked for a longer guard this time, and Zena looks perfect! Great staff, and great groomer!

My husband and I live in Philadelphia. When we visit my parents here and we need a vet, we bring our dog here. This was our second visit and both times have been nothing but wonderful. They are very caring and informative. This is our go to vet!

I am so very disappointed in this practice. I was recommended to come here from someone close to me, and while initially I was impressed, things have drastically changed. I was schedule to have my puppy neutered with this practice for 8/31, not only did I have to call to get an estimate, no one at the front desk could give me even a range of what this procedure would cost and told me I would need to wait to have someone from clinical contact me with this information. When I received the breakdown I was absolutely appalled. How on earth can you charge over 600 dollars for a procedure that should only cost between $45-$150 dollars at any other facility or location in the area? I do not care what kind of "technology" you have, there is no excuse. I would have not been informed of this cost either had I not called and asked well before the apt date. Very unprofessional. People don't just walk around with this type of money. I am extremely disappointed and this practice should be embarrassed. Do not go here unless you want to spend unnecessary amounts of money..

We’ve been taking our dogs to Piper Glen Animal Hospital for both veterinary services & boarding ever since moving to south Charlotte in 2013. My parents took their dog to the wonderful vets & boarding facility for a good 7 years before that, so you could say we’re fans. Dr. Brown has been especially helpful since our COVID-19 rescue of a Treeing Walker Coonhound, as she grew up around them. Great people, great facilities, great vet care and service. Can’t go wrong with Piper Glen!

I took my yorkie Bella to PetSmart for a grooming appointment. PetSmart stated she was too small at 3lbs and they were scared they were going to cut her because she was scared from moving. They sent Bella out 15 minutes later half shaved. I was upset and didn’t know what to do. I called Piper Glen and made Bella an appointment. From drop off to pick up and everything in between was nothing short of amazing. They took their time with Bella and got to know her. I dropped her off at 7:30am and picked her up around 4pm. I called to check on her twice and they gave me updates that kept me at ease both times. If you are looking for a groomer, look no further.

The doctors, technicians, and staff all do a great job of caring for our dogs. They treat our dogs like they are their own pets.

We had an emergency food ingestion with our 11 lb dog. They got us in immediately even though it was early on Monday. They were friendly, efficient and got our pup on the road to recovery! Piper Glen Animal Hospital is EXCEPTIONAL.. Everyone there is kind and compassionate to animals and HUMANS. I can't say enough great things about everything PGAH. So thankful I found them.

I recently adopted a cat that had cancer and her ear tips removed. I wanted an in-person initial consultation with a vet because of the prior health history and because she seems to have some breathing issues. My vet wouldn't allow pet parents in the building, so I searched for one who would. Piper Glen has a great approach to allowing people in but maintaining safety protocols. I was escorted to the exam room and at the end escorted out of the building. Dr Elizabeth Brown did a thorough exam and I feel comfortable in how she recommended we treat the asthma diagnosis. I would recommend this vet!

Caring, professional vet office. They have been our vets for 13 years and we highly recommend them. Particularly impressed with their recent attention to detail during the covid crisis and their safety measures.

This Morning My dog had some breathing issues that caused me to be concerned. I called all around for reasonably priced places that could take him in on a Saturday Morning. This place took him in with what little time they had! They were very thorough, efficient and reasonably priced! i would HIGHLY recommend them! They were actually refereed to me by my coworkers - glad I went!

I called here on Friday and made an appointment for my dog due to the fact there was an unidentified growth on her back foot, she was an extreme pain, it was bleeding and hurt her to the point that she couldn’t even walk very well. Due to the fact that I had work here prior and left, I was called and told by the manager Jessica,an hour later, telling me that I was not welcome there due to the fact that they felt ” uncomfortable”, she was very rude and extremely unprofessional. My dog was DENIED SERVICE because of how people feel. That is not my problem that you feel that way. She then told me that all of my records would be sent to me and I would need to take her elsewhere. Mind you my other dog had been seen five months prior with NO ISSUES, I WAS NEVER TOLD that there was a problem. I have NO ISSUES with these people yet my dog was denied service. My dog needed services done and because of your FEELINGS my baby was unable to be seen. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL and BEYOND UNACCEPTABLY for a veterinarian hospital to deny service due to personal feelings. ????????????

DR Greg Wood is just beyond words wonderful!! Such compassion incompassing the most thorough veterinarian i have ever met.. My girls will NEVER go to anyone else.
