Pet Palace - Charlotte Charlotte, South Carolina

I live close by and I have seen dogs fleeting across Wilkinson from pet palace multiple times. Obviously not safe or reliable, I don’t know who’s watching the dogs or how the heck they get out.

I really like Pet Palace, the groomer does a fantastic job & the people are so friendly. I have recommended Pet Palace to my family & friends.

After touring and reading reviews I had really high expectations for pet palace. However, after a couple weeks at doggy daycare, my dog came home with a broken canine tooth (to the point there was exposed nerve). No one mentioned it upon picking him up, & when I called to ask about what happened no one answered the phone. I left a voicemail but never got a response back. One root canal & nearly $5,000 in vet bills later, it’s safe to say I will not be using Pet Palace’s services again.

We had just moved here a month ago. We needed a place to board our cat because we were traveling out of town. Pet Palace exceeded my expectations. Staff was friendly and very helpful. They answered all of my questions. The facility is clean and very accommodating to pets. My cat had her usual affectionate and friendly personality when we picked her up. We will be using there services in the future.

I have taken my dogs to Pet Palace twice. The first time was okay but my dogs came home smelling like urine. Their coats were stuck together and it was disgusting. They did wash the bed for us, which was nice. We decided to give it a try again and both my dogs (Shepard mix and cockapoo) stayed 5 nights this time. The cockapoo was supposed to get groomed and we picked him up and he was never groomed- they have 5 whole days… Both of them smelled like urine- my dogs can hold the restroom for hours- why did I just pay $420 dollars to get back dogs hat clearly did not get taken to the restroom in a timely manner. They handed us our dog bed that was literally wet with urine (we asked them nicely to throw it away). My question is why were my dogs not taken out enough to where they did not use the restroom all over themselves and their nice dog bed. I can go to work for 8-10 hours and come home to no bathroom mess. We will not be boarding our dogs with Pet Palace again. We spoke to the manager and she basically said sorry he didn’t get groomed and sorry they smell like urine and that was that. Very unprofessional!

We used to love taking our pets here. But their online payment system was very faulty. They had never refunded my $25 deposits I would make when scheduling each visit. When I caught this mishap, it took a few days of back and forth emails for them to refund all my deposits back and they also could not figure out how it happened. Furthermore, I was charged a higher nightly price then the HIGHEST nightly price posted on their website. After trying to get to the bottom of it with Kelly, it seemed they could not figure out why I had been overcharged in all these different ways and they completely just gave up and stopped responding to me. I am so disappointed and just found out they now have a new online system... a little too late!

Staff was very nice and helpful, place was clean and did not smell at the front desk area.

Booked day care a month ago for Memorial Day weekend, filled out the paperwork and they said we were good to go. A day before the booking they call to say they don’t do daycare during Memorial Day weekend and canceled our reservation... one day before...

Brought my dogs Tank and Tera here while out for a weekend trip and the service was excellent. You can tell the staff is passionate about dogs and took great care of them. I will definitely use them again if I go out of town.

I would not recommend them at all!!! I had my dog scheduled to be dropped off on April 4th. Did not get a call about a change and we were on our way out of town. Get there, nobody is opening the door, I had to yell at the lady in the back kennel for their attention, and she came out the door and said unfortunately we are not taking any dogs today our lobby is closed. She acted like they made phone calls when I know that’s not true because she asked if I had the wrong location at first. I showed her the email of my confirmation and then she said oh we called everyone who had a booking for that day. That messed me and my families plans up dramatically and would not tell anyone to take their pets here. Very unprofessional!!!

My Grandson really enjoy comming here. But first, First the website it said they will check temperature, and they didn't. Second, even when the door said you have to wear a mask for protection, there was lots of adults and childrens over 3yrs old without it. I ask and one of the guidances said she take care of her area and that she think everybody do the same. 2 minutes latter the group of adults without mask came to her area and she did nothing. I think that places like this one should follow CDC guidances and rules. BATHROOM were nasty

I loved it. This was Jared's first visit here. They took notes of his activities that he did everyday. I would definitely bring him more often.

They care for our dog more than any other 'Doggy Daycare' in the city. We went through the gauntlet of trying places all over town, disappointed in most--but Pet Palace goes above and beyond every single visit, to make sure our boy gets the best treatment imaginable. Worth it each and every time.

We have had our cat Pete there at least 5 or 6 times and have never been disappointed. They do a nice job.

Place is amazing, not too much higher then most boarding places, and you get 5 star quality for your pet. After picking up my dog, who is usually hesitant of people, he was happy, walked right up to all the staff, happy to see them all, it was very evident that The staff gives So much love and care to their residents!!! Place was super clean, basically Dr. Office clean. Would recomend them to anyone

Great place to care for your pet. We have had our # Sadie the boxer stay here twice with great results. Very attentive staff. Highly recommend!

I have taken my dog here twice, both for extended stays. The facility is absolutely beautiful and well maintained. They offer spa services and tons of extras. Every staff member I have interacted with time after time have gone above and beyond to make sure my pup is safe, comfortable and given plenty of attention. The prices are very reasonable. Did not disappoint! 10/10

Great staff that loves dogs and follows up when necessary - dog is always happy when being picked up from boarding Check out time is really early, 12pm for retrieval, otherwise charged for additional day.

First time my 2 older dogs (beagle and chihuahua) had to stay away from me they were shy but the staff was very friendly and made sure my pups felt safe My 2 younger pups were fine with me leaving but I was a bit afraid they were going to be misunderstood since they both are German shepperds but staff got their personalities 100 to all 4 and love that they made sure to label the food specially since one of my pups has food allergies, it really blew my mind that they really payed attention to ther personalities that was the best for me and my pups sure loved it

This was our first time boarding our pup and I am glad we chose Pet Palace! I toured the facility prior to booking the reservation. It was very clean with super friendly/attentive staff (they even had Paw Patrol playing on the t.v.'s in the royal suites). It was a welcoming atmosphere and I would highly recommend! Thank you Pet Palace, we will be back :)

I can’t say enough about Pet Palace Charlotte location. The staff is excellent, very patient, kind and understanding. Amber is the first contact I had with this location, when I first visited. She is still there ( Thank Goodness) and is just an awesome person and friend to myself and my dog, Lucy. There are so many others that work that are also awesome. I appreciate you all so much! It’s also very clean and happy inside. Please give them a try!!

Our boy Samson loves Pet palace and my husband and I were able to enjoy our week away without worrying about his care. We use Vivian Thornton for all of Sam's grooming needs. She is fantastic!! She also referred us to Pet palace. We encourage everyone to bring your pets here for excellent service with the utmost in professionalism.

Pet Palace is hands down the best pet daycare around! The staff are amazing, nurturing, loving, and it shows! I have two fur babies and they cater to their individual needs. My little ol man ice is getting old and they understand the old man mood swings, it’s a must because he doesn’t mean any harm. My little younger man roc o doodle loves to play and be the king of the palace, he gives everyone hugs and kisses. Thank you pet palace on Wilkinson Blvd we love you guys!!!!!! I promise your pet will be happy if they stay at pet palace!

I’m so pleased with the service we received from pet palace Clt Airport location. First, I made my reservation for my pup at the wrong location and they caught the error and really went above and beyond to get in touch with me to rectify this. The whole reservation process was easy and seamless. They were so pleasant and easy to work with. My boyfriend dropped our dog off with no issues. We received a lovely “report card” after her stay highlighting her behavior and activity throughout the weekend. :) I will def be using pet palace in the future and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a positive pet boarding experience!

I love pet palace and my dogs love it more. I get my dogs groomed by Viv. My dogs have never been so clean. I have an all white bull dog; and Viv keeps her sparkling white. She takes her time and makes sure she meets all the needs of my dogs. My dogs love this place and jump out of the car and rush the door every time we come
