Love these Guys! I have a difficult Dog and they have been so Awessome to work with, giving my Pup the extra attention she needed!!

I have been taking my spinger to K9 since he was a pup. It's his home away from home. The staff are great and I know that they will watch and take care of Buddy when he is at daycare or boarding. Buddy gives them 5 stars, too! During the pandemic the have continued all of their services which has made my life as a healthcare worker less stressful. Thank you, K9 Playland!

Love this place! They take very good care of our highly energetic big dog and our highly energetic little dog!! We have used this doggy daycare for almost 10 years and they always come back healthy and loved!!

My pups go to K9 Playland for boarding and daycare and I recommend it to everyone I know. The staff are so friendly and know my dogs and their needs. When I walked in to drop off my puppy yesterday, the girl working mentioned his food routine and remembered his usual meal and how I pack it before I even mentioned everything was pre-measured and put in bowls. My dogs have never once come home sick, which I can’t say for any other daycare/dog bar/boarding in the area. There are several places much closer to me that I could take my dogs, but I’ve never thought twice to look elsewhere for care. K9 Playland is by far the best place I’ve found to board my babies anywhere. Cannot say enough wonderful things about this business!

We have been bringing our babies here for years and it has been an absolutely wonderful experience from day one. They definitely go above and beyond for us and we couldn’t appreciate it more. Our babies always come back exhausted and happy!!

When my puppy and I moved from Florida to Charlotte, he was only 7 months old. Naturally I was concerned about finding a great day care, boarding place, groomer, and vet for my little guy. I did my research and came across K9 Playland which seemed to be a great fit for our daycare and boarding needs. It was clean, offered early morning and late night daycare hours, and I liked the setup of the indoor outdoor play area as well as the individual suites for boarding. My gut feeling was validated when a few friends also mentioned K9 Playland. Fast forward to now, my puppy has been attending K9 Playland for daycare when I have long workdays and boarding when I am out of town. He has been going for 5 months. He never perks up in the car the way he does when we pull into the parking lot. Then he pulls me to the door. He can’t get inside fast enough. He is always greeted by the owner, manager, or one of the staff who know him by name and are so excited to see him. Our welcome always feels as if we are the only ones there (even though we are one of many with so many other dogs playing all day). They are very organized when taking and returning my pups things for boarding, and have an easy to use online booking system. My pup always comes home exhausted, safe, healthy and in even better condition than when I dropped him off. He loves being there. Even more important to share is how K9 Playland handled an extreme health scare/emergency situation when my pup was neglected and hurt when in a week long training program with a trainer in Charlotte and was then dropped to K9 Playland for boarding for 9 days. I had no idea he was as sick as he was when I dropped him off. I asked the K9 Playland team to keep an eye on him since he was a bit lethargic and not eating too well. What unfolded for the following 9 days was extremely scary, traumatic, and heartbreaking not only for me who was so far away but for my pup and the K9 Playland team. I cannot express enough how much they stepped up and took care of my puppy. I felt like he had their undivided attention and was the only pup there. I received frequent calls and texts from the owner and the manager, everything was documented, and when I contemplated cutting my trip short to fly back, they assured me they knew what they were doing and that he was in good hands. Wasn’t that the truth! They monitored his eating, energy, stomach swelling, bathroom habits, and did what they needed to do to get him feeling better. They had to clean up his mess several nights in a row and never complained. The entire team truly stepped up including the owner! I quickly realized my puppy was being cared for at K9 Playland better than I could have handled things myself. They continued to reach out and check on him for several days after he had already come back home. They all went above and beyond. I highly highly recommend K9 Playland for boarding, baths, daycare…whatever your pup may need. They will certainly show up for your pet!

My dogs Obi and Fen go to K9 playland and absolutely love it! Obi is a Cavalier King Charles and Fen is a Boykin spaniel. Fen was a little finicky and shy, but K9 playland warmed him up. He loves going. He seriously runs to the playroom to meet his fur friends! Cannot thank the wonderful staff enough for taking care of my babies!❤️

Great place for pets and animal lover's

I just starting taking my dog here and I already love it! I know my dog does too.

They do a great job and have excellent customer service. Our dog Brody always runs in here when we bring him, he seems excited to visit.

My girls love going to K9 Playland. I'll say lets go to K9 and they start their happy dance. Lucy started at K9 several years ago then started coming again this summer with her sissy Ginger. Great friendly staff and facilities. Lots of happy pups. Check it out.

I’ve been taking my golden retriever here to get his nails trimmed since August. I’ve always been pleased with the overall service. However, this past Saturday (4/7/18), I showed up around 1:00 and waited for someone to come out to the front desk and waited for at least ten minutes. No one ever came out which is somewhat scary as anyone could walk back. Today, I showed up at 4:45 to get his nails trimmed. I’m aware that this is a busy time with pick up, however, there was only one customer picking up their dog, and no one else in the parking lot or behind me waiting for service. There were two attendants today. I did not get her name, but she refused to cut my dogs nail. I have never read on the website or been told when I bring him in that appts for simple nail clippings are required. I will not be going back here unfortunately. At the end of the day, they seem to only value the customers who spend big bucks to board their dogs.

I DO NOT recommend this place! I went yesterday morning to get my dogs nails trimmed and was very disappointed in my overall experience. When I walked in as a new customer, no one was at the front desk. I waited for about 10 minutes. Finally, two ladies approached me. One was sweet and the other not so much. I wish they had name tags. The kind lady took my dogs back while I dealt with the other. She had a negative attitude from the start ( not good for being the face of a business to new customers). After registering, she said she'd be right back. I waited for 25 mins. She brought one of my dogs back bc my dog was reacting to how my other dog was barking while getting his nails trimmed. After she left, I heard my dog yelp from the lobby! That explains why my other dog was in a protective state. She came back with my other dog and advised me that my dog kicked the dremel and caused it to cut his wick which caused bleeding. Complete BS!! My dogs never had an issue with any nail groomer. And, how would a nail grinder cause bleeding? Unapologetically informed me that she put powder on his nail which will stop the bleeding. My dog was traumatized and was depressed all day. The only time she was a bit kind was when the tip screen popped up during checkout.

Love the place, friendly and helpful

We love K9 playland. Our dog has been going here for 9 years and he can barely contain himself when we get close to the building he is so excited. We have somewhat of a difficult dog and they have always treated him as if he was an angel. Our dog has also had some medical issues and the people at K9 handle it so professionally. The owner is so knowledgeable and you can tell she cares about all of the dogs that come in. It is so nice to have a place we trust while we are out of town to leave our dog and not worry. I really don’t know what we would do without them.

Great folks. Just wish they had cameras so you can watch your furbaby from time to time.

I love this place! Our Cooper the pooper goes nuts when I even mention the name, " K9" ! The staff is wonderful, and they take care of him like he's their own. We went to Europe for a month happy to know he is in good hands, he's a high energy 14 month old Dachshund, Erika the owner is wonderful with animals and you can see it in her and the dedicated staff. When we get him back, he is washed and groomed. We will be going to Paris in a few weeks, the last concern on our minds is our pup, he is going to puppy play camp, a vacation of his own! Nice to have peace of mind. Thank you K9 Playland!

My dog outlaw loved his stay here. he got the full treatment or"spa package" his coat has never been so shiny or soft his nails were done very well and his overall demeanour was happy happy. Great job guys
