Best animal hospital in Charlotte

Cotswald Animal Hospital is excellent. I have brought my cat here twice since adopting her in June for various concerns and both Dr. White and the staff were excellent. They are very compassionate and informative. I trust them wholeheartedly with my little one.

Our almost 13 yr old dog was injured and our vet (who we've used for 15 yrs) couldn't get us in until 10-14 days from now so I had to find another vet. After reading all the 5 star reviews on Cotswold Animal Hospital, I called their office and they were able to get us in w/ 36 hrs. Once we arrived for our appointment, I could tell we were in good hands. The staff has great "bedside" manner and Dr. Tschegg was awesome. What was a very traumatic situation has turned out to be a blessing. We're in good hands, and their location is very convenient- right in the heart of Cotswold (even though we live in Old Providence, it's only 10 min away). And I was pleasantly surprised to see the fees were about 20-25% less than what we paid at our previous vet.

I truly believe Dr Duris saved my dog’s life. We had been seeing a different vet in town who was notoriously poor at communicating and was hesitant to prescribe steroids for a GI issue that was taking a major toll on my dog. After one round of steroids we saw a massive improvement that has been maintained for 9 months. Entire team here is compassionate and communicative on top of being effective. We were thrilled to have Cotswold Animal Hospital for the six years we lived in Charlotte. They loved our Boxer rescue as much as we did. Dr. Jason White and his entire staff are awesome. Thorough, professional, and caring. I would highly recommend them.

We were new to the area and did not have an established vet for our dog. She had a minor medical issue that needed to be addressed and though they were booked, the staff was extremely accommodating, allowing us to to squeeze in for a visit. Everyone was kind and professional to us and our dog. Would definitely recommend and will return here for our pets' care.

I had an emergency with my dog because her dew claw grew into her paw and I usually go to a vet for shots that doesn’t do emergency things like this. During this time of shelter in place, I didn’t have anywhere call me back except Cotswold Animal Hospital. They met me in the lot and I can tell that my extremely shy shelter dog felt loved when she was in there care. She came back to me with noticeable relief. The office and dr called me numerous times and seemed to really care about my dog. They were exceedingly kind and informative and made the appointment a breeze.

I take both of my cats here. They needed a vaccine and they were seen very quickly. Good mask hygiene by the staff when interacting with me.

They are true professionals. They take excellent care of your fur babies.

The staff has been great and very helpful but the cost is too high for a regular check up and they do not do appointments on the weekday in non work hours. ($75 for a check up - google average is $45 - $55) I feel like I always see a different vet. All of them have been great but I would prefer to have the same people that are familiar with my animals.

The location is great and the staff is friendly, and for that I’ll give them 2 stars, but if I could give the vet zero stars, I would.

I took my 1 year old cat here for her annual checkup and the whole process was a blast! I am a very nervous cat-mom but the receptionists made me feel right at home. They gushed over my cat, took photos of her and were just nice and sweet all around. The vet was very kind and he made my cat feel very comfortable in spite of everything they check for.

Extremely disappointed in this office. While the staff is friendly and functional (they call back when they say they will, etc.) they never once did anything that made being a busy pet owner more convenient for me. They refused to deviate from their extremely rigid "policies" on more than one occasion, and when my pet was slightly behind on his annual appointment due to a move, they refused to renew his prescription food for a single month to give me time to make an appointment and bring him in. They clearly cared more about my annual visit payment rather than him staying on the food that kept him healthy, and I find that to be extremely poor customer service. We'll be going elsewhere from now on.

I have been taking my GSD here for the last 6 months and I couldn't be happier with the staff. Everyone has been super friendly and they clearly have the best interests of your animal at heart. Very reasonably priced and really understanding about rush visits. Could not recommend more!

Would not take my dog anywhere else.

Great and caring vet! Been going here for a few years with my two boys and wouldn't go anywhere else. At one point, a couple of years ago, my dog got very sick (worried he may not live). I had to go to family's wedding so I had to leave my dog at the vet. Dr. White personally called me over the weekend to keep me updated and checked on my dog. It was such a weight off to know that Cody was doing much better and was being cared for. Amazing place!

wow, these folks are so sweet. We just transferred vets to Cotswold and I'm really glad we did. The front staff are just precious women. They are a delight.
