New to the area, looking for a good vet. Found it first try! Very fast efficient and worked well with my German Shepherd.....sooooo many times I have run in to the staff, making pup a little more nervous than usual. But they did very well with my upper, all 120lbs of him! was very impressed, good group of people.

I was taking my senior dog here to get his allergy shots, as he has itchy skin. I’ve taken him here a few years ago for it and it was fine. I moved & began taking him to a closer vet, they’d issue the same injection, and he would be good for at least 3 months. I’ve moved closer to river run again and I take him for the shot, which should last between 4-8 weeks, but it literally lasts for about 2-2 1/2 weeks!! I hate seeing my dog suffer with the itchy skin, and I refuse to keep taking him back every 2 weeks, for something that should last a month or 2. I’ve decided I will just take the 25 minute drive to his old vet and continue to get it from them. I’m not sure if they water down the injection or what, but it doesn’t work.

I came to river run when I needed a second opinion and when I had to make one of the toughest decisions with my cat. They treated me with respect and made me feel like I had been going for years. Staff was friendly and attentive and the facilities were great. I definitely trust them with my pets.

Clean and new facilities. The staff is caring compassionate and kind. Your pet will be well taken care of here! Great location and easy parking too.

Just had our 1st visit and we’re very impressed with River Run. The Dr answered all of our questions and didn’t rush us through our visit. Exceptionally clean facility and wonderful Vet techs! Glad we made the change to River Run Animal Hospital

I have had nothing but a great experience at River Run Animal Hospital, and was recommended to them by a friend who is a veterinarian so you know they Dr. Farris is well respected amongst her colleagues. My pup recovered very quickly from his neutering and was back to normal in no time.

Love this vet and hate to be looking else where as the vet's and their techs have taken good care of my girls Marilyn and Sora. However, I received a call from Alli after my boyfriend took the latter in for a last minute visit for some allergy issues to which Alli said that we would have to be limited to a curbside only assistance because my boyfriend "refused to wear a mask". I've always worn my mask when dropping off the girls (4 times) but my boyfriend chooses not to when he can but always puts it on when requested by staff members. I corresponded with him after getting off the phone to ask him what he had done to get us on the "curbside list" and he was a little surprised as only the receptionist addressed him in response to his "masklessness" and when the receptionist did address him, he did not refuse although she was visibly upset and delivered her message in a less than professional demeanor by raising her tone, instead he put his mask back on and went about business. He has only been in the building twice and to receive a phone call threatening to "suspend our lobby privileges" over a delayed compliance to the mandate (since he did not out right refuse any policy) is ridiculous. We all have the right to choose and when I called to request Alli to forward over the dog's information so that I may send it to a new vet she immediately hung up on me before I finished my sentence and claimed it was because she thought I said "Thank you, bye"...it's unfortunate this circumstance means I will be attending another fear free/low-stress vet but I refuse to be bullied over a dramatized one time occurrence (the other time my boyfriend dropped Sora off he was not confronted by anyone for any masking issue).

The staff at River Run are phenomenal. They took care of our sick kitties at their worst and helped transition over the rainbow bridge. Now they care for our bully mix and we couldn’t be happier with how patient, caring, and knowledgeable they all are on every option for your four legged baby.

I was so impressed with our visit at this veterinarian hospital. Dr. Reed got on the floor with both of our pets and I’ve never experienced that before. The technician completely cuddled our cat while he got vaccines. I am sold. I will use River Run Animal Hospital for all my veterinary needs

So far I have had a positive experience with them as well as my family.

I’ve never had a bad experience here. The people are always nice, very communicative, and very caring with my fur babies. I had gone to urgent vet, and honestly the prices are very comparable. They’ve even made time for me same day if there are appt. times available. I love the proximity to my neighborhood too!

The team at River Run Animal Hospital took excellent care of my Boxer dog and took time to explain why my dog was under the weather. I will definitely come back for routine exams and I'd highly recommend their services.

The staff at River Run are very professional, treat my cat with the care she needs, and understand that if she is stressed, it's time to end the session. They are clearly not only competent, but extremely caring as well. They wanted my cat to feel at home and as comfortable as possible, and that was important to me, and to her!

Vet Tech and Dr obviously love what they do -- very caring and compassionate. Also love that they are within 5 min from our home and also provide boarding.

I have been here twice already with my 21 1/2 year old cat and they have always treated her super well and have been very professional with me~ answering all of my questions especially since my cat is in stage 3 kidney failure. I recommend this place highly.

Besides taking our two beloved fur babies here and ignoring the fact that they overcharge 10 fold for any service, my husband and I stumbled upon two stray dogs in our neighborhood today and after searching for their owners for hours ( they didn’t have collars or tags.. we took them to our vet at River Run assuming they could help and take the sweet dogs in while their owners are located as EVERY vet would do that cares for the animals .. only to bring them there and they scanned for microchips and told my husband they don’t “do that” as far as helping our stray dogs or taking them in... so unfortunately we were made to take the dogs back to our house to watch for an additional few more hours until the animal control ( which I hate calling bc of their euthanizing to come get the poor babies until hopefully their owner can find them.. I was able to take the printed off price of paper the vets office was so “kind” to print off to reach out to the micro chipping company to hopefully see if they can reach the dogs owners as well... thanks to this, River run has lost our family, my friends, and extended family that currently take their dogs there.

We’ve had nothing but positive experiences here. They’ve gone above and beyond my expectations whether it’s a problem visit or a yearly exam. Price is always mentioned and discussed in case of unexpected cost which I appreciate.

First time customer. They did a fantastic job, puppy loves them. When I was leaving to go to my appointment, I realized I didn’t have the record from my previous vet. When I arrived they had already obtained the records and were ready for us.

Do not go to this Vet if you are on a Budget. The doctors and medical staff were great but my dog is sadly still ill, the office manager told me since I can't afford anymore visits this week because I have already been there 2 times and paid over $400 this week, I should just surrender my Dog to the SPCA!!!
