Love it here! I'm a new dog mom to a golden retriever puppy, and everyone there treats him like he's one of their own. The staff couldn't be nicer and loves Saxon as much as I do! I'm so grateful for the wonderful staff always taking care of him.

They are great for walk in's. Doctor and assistants are pleasant. Only complaint is the mark up on prescriptions.

Our dog was not feeling well and our regular veterinarian office was closed due to the Holidays. The staff and Doctor at Carmel Road Animal Hospital were very caring, kind and professional. We had a very positive experience and would recommend this office.

Dr. K and his staff have been fantastic with our cat and quickly growing GSD puppy. You can tell that they care and are passionate about your pets’ health. Dr. K has personally called following vet visits to make sure our animals are doing well following surgical procedures, vaccinations, and emergency visits. Despite COVID, they’ve allowed us to still attend our vet visits with our pets, but have taken all necessary cleaning and screening protocols to keep clients safe. Additionally, the vet hospital hours are quite convenient for our work hours.

Hi all! I had gotten my 10 month old Chihuahua spayed recently by Dr. K. At first, I was skeptical and nervous about the procedure but, one of the techs reassured me and helped to calm me down. Post- operatively, I picked my pup up with great directions on how to care for her and her operative site was neat and clean. I am overall happy with the experience and I would be going back to them for future visits!

Dr. K and his wonderful team do a great job at treating our fur babies. You can tell everyone there loves what they do and cares about customer satisfaction. The facility itself is beautiful and kept very clean. I strongly recommend if looking for quality care.

Might do what you need done but not completely. They unnecessarily charge you hundreds of dollars for services your animal dont actually need. The main Doctor will know whats wrong but still do as much as possible to get more $$ out of your pockets

WORST vet I have ever been to, if you care about your pet DO NOT go here. Dr. cancelled multiple appointments last minute, slow to contact us about critical lab results which impacted our dogs health, and the cherry on top was when the dogs skin started falling off from the infection that originally brought us in OVER a month ago, the doctor took his sweet time calling the derm for a referral and now we can’t get in til Jan. I have never seen such a lack of urgency or care from a vet before.

Awful customer service. Awful. From communication of the procedure to doing their duties post surgery. We picked up our cat, post-neuter surgery, and the cone that they placed on our cat did not stay. Perhaps some instructions for placing it back on our cat would have worked, but they did not give instructions on how to do so. Segway into a lack of communication, when we discussed the plan to do surgery, they quoted $180. This was after two discussions with the associate/receptionist. When we picked up our cat, they ended up charging more than double to get out the door. For anybody looking at this vet, proceed with caution. The communication is lacking and the trust has been lost from our end.

On a very difficult day, when my regular vet couldn’t see us (this was an emergency), I was lucky to have found a place for my fur baby. The staff was wonderful.

DON’T GO THERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR ANIMAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!We brought 3 cats , 2 babies and a bigger cat, we got a lot of pour information, no one from the team seemed like they don’t really know about what is going on, apparently their doctor went to a week vacation so the other doctor didn’t know the hole story , what she was telling us sound like a scam!!! The crew didn’t really know things, we asked about extra charges 3 different people they all said no but when we actually brought the stool sample they were just continuing say it’s not included because we didn’t get the kitty package but he is not even a kitty! We didn’t even offered to get him that witch I don’t think we need cause we brought him to check a nose sore! Anyway they wanted to charge us more and more saying no one told us that it’s included! Witch they did told us it’s included 3 different people! They didn’t have us really answer what is going on with his nose , after 1200 $ bill the manager was rude saying we don’t understand and we are the one mistake even though the doctor wasn’t even there to tell us about the results and the other doctor just read us the results and said his doctor will contact us in a week cause she is not on the case. I don’t understand that cause she had the results as well !!!

No one wants to be at an emergency vet on a Sunday morning, but sometimes circumstances are such that you can not wait for an appt with your regular vet. I called at 10 am Sunday morning, saying I was available anytime today. They told me to come in at 11 am. I did & got blood work done on my cat. I appreciate them getting me in ASAP. Dr Emmandi "Dr E" was great as well as the vet assistants that helped us out. They provide free wifi which is nice since you never know how long you will be waiting. Luckily, they got us back right away -we did not even sit in the waiting room- we went straight to an operatory. Dr E even showed us a trick on how to get the cat to take a pill. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs an emergency vet. We are very grateful for the doctor and staff to be available for us on a Sunday morning.

Dr Kundla is by far the most caring vet that I have ever been to. Not only did he save my 11 year old fur baby's life but made multiple follow up calls to see how he was doing and if he was taking his meds properly. I knew he was special when he called my sweet old guy "baby boy" (because he is forever my baby) and referred to me as "mom/ mommy." The whole staff is so sweet, sympathetic and incredibly accommodating. If I had known about Carmel Road Animal Hospital sooner, I never would have gone anywhere else. My dog is the love of my life and I trust him under the care of Dr K. and his amazing team.

Updated Review Thank you for addressing my concerns. I was contacted by the staff the same day I posted my initial review and they understood my concerns and refunded the excess amount that was charged. Initial Review I was misguided on the costs and was charged double the amount quoted while booking the appointment for a couple of vaccines that I needed urgently to board my dog. Each vaccine was $10 more than what was quoted on the phone and I was also charged for a comprehensive office exam even though I had specifically requested a vaccine only appointment as my dog recently went through his annual vet exam. If you are on a budget then please confirm the total cost before visiting.

First time with Dr. K and a feral cat I had adopted years go. Very happy with care and the compassion of Dr. K and his staff. My cat had to have surgery and had a beautiful outcome and healing. Definitely would recommend.

I love the staff at Carmel Road Animal Hospital. They took such great care of my fur baby when he was sick and even stayed past closing time to do surgery on my dog. They are very professional and assured me that he was in the best hands. Thank you all so much!

Went to get my cat some booster shots and figured I’d try a new vet because I’m moving. Ended up emotionally exhausted for the apparent crime of trying to understand treatment and charges. There was a remarkable lack of transparency and very little explanation on their procedures. I called ahead to ask about prices - I was quoted something very different than what I was charged. I asked for a general wellness and boosters, but ended up being charged for a multitude of other things. The doctor was sweet, bless his heart, but I had difficulty understanding him with the combination of masks and his accent. I asked clarifying questions several times but was still a bit confused when I left. When I got home, I called with some other questions, just looking for an explanation. The nurse who answered the phone acted without an ounce of professionalism and with no shortage of disdain. She interrupted me multiple times, cutting me off when I was just trying to ask about what they did. She talked to me like I was stupid, as if I am supposed to know the specific chemical name for dewormer. She talked down to me, saying how she was the nurse who did the procedures on my cat like I was trying to claim they didn’t, when I was trying to say that I didn’t ask for those procedures to be performed. She displaced responsibility onto me, saying that I should have spoken up, when they gave me no indication of what they were doing. When I called and asked about prices, I was told the price of the wellness exam, with the extra test fees that are apparently a part of the wellness exam going completely unmentioned. They ended up refunding me for the procedures I called asking about, which I very much appreciate. However, I didn’t at all appreciate the nurse quite snidely telling me that I got the procedures “for free.” These are the same ones which I had to ask about again to understand what they were since the first time she cut me off before I could finish. She outright told me that she didn’t have time for me. I asked her calmly if it is their business practice to be patronizing to people who are asking questions, or if it is just her in particular. She proclaimed that I was the one who was belittling her. Perhaps it somehow does come across as belittling to speak with maturity to someone who evidently lacks it. TLDR: Confusing and unclear pricing for procedures. Asked questions about my cat’s care, got treated with pure contempt. I went home and cried after this vet appointment. Won’t go again. Edit: I received a call and talked at length with another tech who was very kind and helpful. She explained all of the procedures I had questions about. She also explained the way the visit should have gone, which should have included explanations and pricing quotes before actual administering of the tests. However, that still did not happen in my experience. They refunded my full visit, but I am still on the fence whether or not I will return here.

We’ve been going here for awhile. I can always count on them to squeeze me in last minute or have a good flexible open schedule for us. They were absolutely wonderful when we had to put down our cat nugget.
