Amazing, caring people at VCA Charles Towne, highly recommend!

After recently getting a new puppy, we decided to try Charles Towne Animal Hospital because it had great reviews. We were not disappointed! The quality of care my puppy Mac has received has been outstanding so far. The vets, vet techs, and other staff are all so so kind too, and have made each visit a positive, happy experience for my pup (and us owners!). Every time I have given them a call they've been responsive and helpful, too. I would highly recommend this animal hospital to any person in the Charleston area!!

Wouldn't trust anyone else with my fur baby! They really care about them. They even call and follow up and check on them.

I bounced around to a few different vets since I moved to Charleston and my biggest regret is that I didn't bring my dog to this place from the get go. The staff is friendly and the vet's are incredibly knowledgeable. After a long and wonderful life that dreaded day came when I had to put my dog down. The staff was so compassionate at caring during this emotional time. About a week later, I received a card in the mail with hand written comments about my dog Guinness. This meant the world to me and I am forever grateful. Thank you to all the staff at VCA Charles Town Animal Hospital and I recommend this place to everyone!

So very nice. My kitten is adopted from the Shelter, and we were looking for him a vet. He had a eye problem before he came into our lives, and this vet was extremely nice and informative about what to look for and treatment. We're never going anywhere else. Customer for life.

My dog and cat love coming here and I can’t think of a reason why I’d choose any other vet.

My dog had a small cyst above her eye and I wanted a vet to look at it. The receptionist said that my dog needs a full exam because they did not see my dog in a year. I explained that we just moved to the area from Dallas, TX where my dog was current with all her exams in a VCA clinic and that there was no need for an additional overall exam. I was told that there is no way my dog can get an appointment without the exam. I asked for a manager to give me a call and never received one.

We were traveling in our motor coach from Virginia to the Florida Keys when our 6 year old Lab began throwing up during our journey down. She has Always been a perfect traveler so we knew it wasn’t that. We were quite frightened something bad was wrong! We called our vet at home and she said she didn’t know anyone personally but read reviews and choose one within the VCA association. We did and even though we did not choose the closest vet, we got the Best treatment! No waiting! Everyone treated us like we were going to be long term patients! We were given all options for solutions but most logical was anti nausea meds which fixed the problem. We got follow up calls from the vet assistant and the veterinarian! If I lived in North Charleston or the nearby area- this would be my pet’s veterinarian!

Great covid-19 protocols. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and fast service. I've used them for almost 40 years.

My household has a history of taking our pets to Charles Towne sine rhe 70's and still do so to this day. The docs and care they take with our fur babies (and us) are a blessing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Great operation! Everyone was exceedingly nice, the wait was short, and the vet was fantastic. She spent more time examining and asking about my dog than any other vet I've seen. Also, they didn't try to upsell or get me to sign onto an email list or anything annoying like *some* places in town - the focus was the doggo's well being and that's it. 10/10 Can't recommend this place enough!

All the vets are excellent and really care about my dogs. I highly recommend if you are looking for a new vet.

I called on a Friday morning and was given a same day Friday evening appointment for my fur baby. The staff were so very helpful and friendly! They provided us with exceptional care from start to finish. I am so happy to have found this office!!

I love this place they're like family they were there for me when I needed them my dog was really sick and needed emergency surgery. They saved my dog's life I'm so grateful the staff is most awesome

Literally, one of the best places to go to for your pet's health care needs! All of the workers are extremely warm and friendly; they go an extra mile to ensure you get the best for your pets. They have a care club program to make monthly payments instead of doing a one time payment. That helps tremendously especially if you're on a budget. I would recommend anyone to go to VCA Charles Towne for their pets!

They love our furbabies just like we do! You can tell that the entire staff has a true love for animals. That makes us feel super comfortable entrusting them with the care of our beloved pets. I'll never take him anywhere else!

My dogs love Dr. Fordney. All the vets there are amazing! We just moved here last year and we couldnt have asked for a better vet!

They were very friendly and my cat was much more calm during the exam than I expected. It was easy to set up an appointment on short notice and they allow online scheduling. They honored the free first visit after adoption from Pounce Cat Cafe and gave me a free first dose of parasite prevention.

This office is wonderful!! My dog is always nervous at the vet, but they treated her wonderfully. There was some initial confusion with her heartworm medication, but it was sorted out so quickly, efficiently and kindly in was beyond impressed. All of the staff and so friendly and kind and their prices are totally reasonable!! If you're looking for a vet, choose VCA!!
