I can't really say enough about Dr Tom Sheridan and his staff. My dog was "diagnosed" at another hospital to the tune of $2500 and they never figured out what the issue was. One visit to FAH and Tom discovered the malady. Unfortunately my old boy needed to be put down. He and his staff were always caring, compassionate and professional. They were kind enough to mail out a card and I'm forever grateful. A+ staff and service.

I have had dogs all my life and vets every place I have resided and NONE come close to the kindness, genuine care and personal attention that Dr. Sheridan gives my pets and me as a pet owner.

We found an injured bird and drove to several vets on James Island and none of them would help. I want to give a shout out to Folly Rd Animal Hospital!!! They took the little guy in to save his life. So, if they’ll do that for something they aren’t getting paid for… I am impressed. No other vet on James Island that we went to before them even cared… they all sent me away!

WORST VET on james island! i made an appointment for my dog who had an ear infection. upon arriving home i noticed the ear infection had not been treated so i called the office to see if we could swing back by since they forgot no big deal mistakes happen but on the phone i was told by the doctor that i had refused treatment for my dogs ear infection and that i could not have the ear treatment even tho i had already paid for it. in addition the doctor was pretty rude in general and there was a lot of rough treatment toward my dog if i could give no stars i would

I'm from out of town. At the last minute, my dog needed a vet visit. They arranged an appointment right away. Staff friendly. My dog loved them. Will definitely use them again if needed when in Folly.

A big fan. All three of my fur babies go to FRAH. They listen which is critical for me. They don’t just treat your pet, they truly try to figure out and resolve their health issues in the most cost effective way. Sometimes when I go to vets I feel like I’m at a mechanic and they’re trying to charge me for everything possible. I have never felt that way at FRAH. 10 months later... want to thank this veterinarians office for all they do for my dogs I have three...two of which are very old. They are simply amazing and I cannot recommend them enough. You have kept my dogs alive 16 February 2021 my oldest Pippen. You have all helped us through so much of my family with all of our animals...a true blessing ❤️

Wonderful staff and care! I highly recommend this vet to anyone looking for a reliable and friendly place to take care of your furry loved ones. They do an amazing job while making sure you aren't spending unnecessary money.

Lucy, a 12 year old black lab and my best friend friend, started having seizures due to a growing brain tumor at age twelve. The same week that my wife and I discovered we were having our first child. We thought it was the end for Lucy. We were devastated. Dr. Sheridan and his team treated her with skill and compassion. They looked after her at the office when we needed to leave her during the day for work. There were some moment when things were touch and go, but she soon regained her quality of life. Sadly, we had to put Lucy to rest today, nearly three years after the seizures began. Long enough for our daughter to know her and love her like we did. We thank Lucy for being part of our family and we thank the Folly Road Animal Hospital for the quality care they have provided her and us.

Dr Sheridan is very skilled. He cares about doing what is best for both you and your canine companion by offering wise counsel & options, while not forcing you into a decision that you are not comfortable with.

We are currently staying in Folly Beach from out of town and had somewhat of an emergency with one of our dogs. I called Folly Road Animal Hospital and we were seen immediately without being an established patient. The customer service we received and the care our dog received were both top notch and the vet who helped us was friendly and took his time to make us feel welcome. We had to go back a few days later for a follow up appointment, and my husband only had more positive things to say about the service we received and the recommendations that were made for our dog. Thanks for caring and keep up the great work!

Dr Sheridan is quick yet efficient. He takes the necessary time to evaluate your pets needs and concerns without charging you an exorbitant amount. He knows how to address the most important issues concerning your pet first without bogging you down on the little stuff. Gives great advice and is truly concerned about your pet. Dr Sheridan spent a lot of time with us and our new puppy.

They are very friendly and accommodating, they always take the time to answer my questions so I can feel comfortable with any procedure done to my kitty, the prices are reasonable.

Dr. Sheridan and his staff are very thoughtful and always remembers me and my pup even if we haven't been there for a whole year! Highly recommend this place!
