We just moved here and our dog got a skin irritation that had quickly become infected. I called on a Friday afternoon and they were able to accommodate us the same day. The staff were all very friendly, thoughtful, and knowledgeable and treated my dog like thier own. When it came time to pick a course of action they quoted all options and discussed the differences and pros of cons of each. I was very pleased with the entire experience and I know my dog was thankful for the super fast relief.

Everyone at Bees Ferry Veterinary Hospital is amazing. They know my dog by name the minute we walk in the door and always are kind and responsive to his needs. He also loves going to the kennel here. The kennel staff is amazing and so kind!

Bee's Ferry Animal Hospital was able to get my sick kitty in same day within hours of calling. Extended office hours allows for convenient appointment times for working pet parents. Friendly staff who are compassionate and understanding.

I called in asking some questions before I scheduled the first appointment. Having come from 2 different places I haven't been happy with, I was skeptical. The woman on the phone was very kind and she answered all of my questions and was able to get me in the next day! I can't even do that with my own doctor for myself! They assured me that they would call and get my dogs previous records and have them looked over before we got there and they did! I was very impressed on my first visit to Bees Ferry Veterinarian Hospital. The lobby waiting area was very comfortable and clean. Everything was organized and people were promptly checked in. Our nurse, Marcus, was so kind and he loved on my nervous little dog like he was the best thing ever. That warmed my heart and my dogs tail wagged the whole time. Dr. Lanford was very thorough and checked my dog over from head to tail. She took the time to teach me how to properly care for my dogs aging teeth and made other dietary recommendations. They trimmed his nails for free too on his first visit! They gave me a cute little bag with a food scooper and all of his paperwork. Because my dog had some vaccines then they texted me the next day to check and see how my pup was doing after. Wow! What great service. I think we found our new family vet for our 2 doggies. Thank you Bees Ferry, keep up the good work! - Brekke family

I'm so happy we found this vet that's closeby to home, and more important treats our dog as if he were their own dog! They are reliable and communicate very well! I was nervous having to put my dog under for a procedure but they made me feel so much more at ease and called me as soon as he woke up. They've been great at checking up and maintaining that communication and I feel good knowing that I can continue coming here for any needs!

First visit to the Bees Ferry Veterinary Hospital, and the experience was all I could ask for and more for my puppy and I. (Laura is amazing!!) I took my Vizsla puppy (Zeus) for his initial check up and Laura was so super helpful. Not only did she make my puppy feel at ease and at home, she was also super knowledgeable on all of the tips and tricks for new puppies. It was great to find this veterinary hospital, with the level of care and experience between all of the staff. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for quality care for their furry friends!

Excellent customer service and professional, compassionate care. We were customers for several years with our previous two cats. Now we have come back with our new kitten!

First visit to this vet, and I was overwhelmed with the friendliness, openness and sincerity in caring about the animals and their parents. Check-in/check-out process has been designed with animal comfort and safety in mind as well as have boarding facilities for kitties. I felt very confident in the level of care and experience with staff here and was so excited to have found a new vet and staff that we already love after our first visit.

Doctors hardymon, Fowler, and Saenger have been incredible helping with our cats. From helping us with end of life care with Frankenstein to routine care with Dracula and his changing needs they’ve gone above and beyond. The front desk staff is also incredibly sweet and helpful every time I call, even when it came down to tiny worries I was having when Frankenstein was suffering from FIP. I started coming here because it was around the corner, I now live 30 minutes away and I keep coming here because of the wonderful staff and the great care they take of my cat. Thank y’all for everything you do! I can’t recommend you enough

We were nervous about boarding our dog due to a previous loss of a dog immediately following a boarding. I won’t worry again! Bee’s Ferry did a fantastic job! Our puppy, Monty, came out of his shell, got spoiled, and made new friends. Our chunky puppy even slimmed down from playing so much!

Professional team, superb medical skills, reasonable charges, my 16-year-old dog felt healed the day after the operation, and my gratitude is beyond words.

The entire staff was responsive and sympathetic to my needs. Dr. Ellis performed surgery on my dog for a very serious issue and calmed my fears. The office called to check up on Merry and assured me they were there if I had any questions or concerns about her. I am comfortable that my baby is in the best of care at Bees Ferry Veterinary Hospital.

Bees Ferry Veterinary Hospital has been caring for our pets since mid-2018. We recently tried a new vet, but returned after one visit. BFVH has always been responsive to our concerns and upfront about treatment, costs, and alternate options and providers. Their staff go out of the way to work you into the schedule when you have a concern. Most importantly, the vet was very observant and respectful of my dog's stress level and body language and provided gentle, caring treatment, including adjusting how they took her temperature to make her more at ease. We're grateful for the relationship we have with BFVH!

The staff at Bees Ferry were great when I tried to get my dog in last minute on a Saturday for X-rays. The wait for being a work-in wasn’t bad at all and Anna and Dr. IS did a great job of keeping me informed and calm when things went south and I was transferred to the emergency vet down the road. I could not have asked for a better experience as a new client who just moved here from out of state!

It was a refreshing change to be face to face with such wonderful people post pandemic and be apart of my dogs first vet visit. Marley, my golden retriever puppy is 12 weeks old and went for his first puppy exam. The staff were welcoming and made Marley feel so happy to be present. They were so good about administering his vaccines without making him feel uncomfortable in any way. Dr. Laura Wurst was an amazing and nothing short of compassionate about what she does. I can't wait to take him back here.

I got an appointment for an X-ray of his teeth. They did a test for Lymphoma, for 417.00. That test was useless as my regular vet did that already, for 182.00 dollars. At the end, no Teeth X-ray, and my dog died from a teeth infection on August 27. His head was all swollen, with teeth infection. Do not bring your dog there they do not have good standards and will charge you for tests, you did not ask for. Zero confidence in their ability to take care of your dog.

Bees Ferry has been outstanding in their care for our golden-doodle, Lillie. When we drive us, Lillie goes right inside with no hesitation. It's such a warm and caring atmosphere. If Lillie could type, she would give you five paws.

Dr. Wurst and I can't remember the other woman's name - Anna? Sorry- anyway, awesome experience all the way around. I am dog sitting and she had a little thing on her toe and it was bleeding - they got me in on a Saturday on a holiday weekend = were prompt, soo sweet to the nervous pup and just wonderful. I am making appointments for our three other dogs this week - we have been going to another vet, but, have been overall very unhappy there. If Dr. Wurst, the vet tech and the receptionist are any indication of the rest of your staff, our dogs will be very well taken care of!

We brought our dog in (who was already a patient) to get a tooth looked at. At his checkup we were told his teeth were fine. One was visibly black at the root. We ended up taking him back and they agreed that it was problematic. We got his teeth cleaned and they pulled "two teeth". It was about $1200. This was about a year ago. We weren't happy, so we switched vets. Despite regular mouth care, he has another tooth that looks problematic. The new vet agreed. The new vet also said it didn't look like sealant was applied (which we were previously charged for with the cleaning). He also questioned the previous quality of the cleaning. We scheduled a tooth extraction for the new tooth that looks unhealthy. At the new vet, the tooth extraction along with the removal of 2x lumps with pathology is only $800. The new vet actually took the time to actually check all of our dogs teeth. We have switched everything over to our new vet because he seems thorough and we are satisfied with the care he gives and what he charges.

We moved to Charleston 2 years ago, and began bringing our then, 8y old dog, for his annual visits. The staff at Bees Ferry Vet hospital are comprised of a fantastic and caring team. They are able to schedule promptly, provide a thorough vet exam and review findings and allow for our follow up questions to be answered fully. They also follow up day(s) after each procedure. Their compassion for animals comes through each time we have an appointment. We moved out of West Ashley over a year ago, but we wouldn't go anywhere else with our pet!
