I adopted my pet from the RISPCA over two years ago and have been a client at West Paws for over two years. I always liked taking my dog Shadow to West Paws to see Dr. Clarissa Williams. This practice has gone downhill since Dr. Williams left. it took over a month to get an appointment for my dog's skin condition which 3 weeks after the visit has only gotten worse. The veterinarian (Dr. Paradise) will not return calls and it's impossible to get a timely appointment while my dog continues to suffer. they have no problem racking up the bill and taking your money though! They seem to care more about making a buck than caring for my dog. if you care about your pet, my recommendation is to stay far away from West Paws!

Searching for vets based on reviews can be tenuous, so I'm glad I was highly recommended by a friend to see Dr. Williams and her staff for our new rescue pup. The location is convenient, there's plenty of green space around the complex to settle your dog the new environment, and everyone inside shares a warm and welcoming "grandma's house" vibe. The care was attentive, thorough, gentle, and genuine. It's easy to feel like you're being nickel and dime-d at other practices, but I didn't feel this way at all. I left feeling more informed and grateful for their affordable and reasonable prices. I also felt like I was given space and time to decide further actions, which is a rarity in this field.

Very professional and the visit was handled so smoothly given the current crisis. Thank you!

They never listen. I told them my cat is a indoor cat only many times I did say I may take her out under my supervision I haven't decided, they took that as she's an out door cat. If your physically disabled don't go there this was my mistake it isn't assessible.

We took our new puppy here and the team was so awesome - very informative and kind to us and the puppy. We highly recommend Dr. Clarissa and Amy - they were both so great! We were a little nervous not being able to go in with him but Amy came out and was so sweet with him. We couldn't have asked for a better first visit for our boy.

The visit went smooth and the staff were very friendly I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good Vet to bring their pet. Jake is a 14 Year old Beagle, and he was comfortable with the Dr and staff as well.

Clarissa Williams is the most amazing vet I could possibly recommend. She is extremely thorough and has a way of explaining everything she’s doing and noticing. I’m completely at ease when my dogs see her because I know she’s looking out for their best interest and I’m always in the loop with what is going on. Even her tech Dawn is amazing we are forever grateful for this team and what they do for us and our dogs.

I went there to get my two dogs, a 5 year old, and 4 months. I needed my dogs looked at due to the both of them itching excessively. I knew the drill, so we just needed to get them seen so we can go forward with flea medications. When we got there, the vet tech seemed very nervous of my oldest dog, “German Shepherd”. We had her muzzled to make them feel less nervous, because I know how people can get around a German Shepherd. I instructed the vet tech how to do a proper leash transfer and told her once I let go she will follow you with no issues, which is what happened. With covid, we were not allowed inside, but I knew this before hand, I understood. But I had a bad feeling in my gut the moment I let go of the leash, that my dogs were not in good hands. After approximately 25 minutes we received a phone call saying both dogs did great and the vet informed me that my dogs didn’t have fleas, and it was just “the cold weather” and “allergies”. I thought to myself that’s impossible and figured because they’re scared of certain breeds, they don’t do Proper examinations. With that being said, using my judgment I got a second opinion from another vet and she confirmed they both had fleas within minutes of examination. Maybe I could of given west paws a pass on my oldest dog, due to her having black fur... but how can you not detect fleas on a tan German Shepherd puppy. $350 down the drain, but I was lucky to find a experienced vet the next day. For those who love their dog, don’t go here... they don’t care about your dog or you. Fleas can lead to infestations inside your house, and it being winter time they need a warm carrier. If a flea infection goes undetected, your pet may develop a heartworm Or tape worm. Tapeworm may occasionally infest people as well.

Dr. Williams is absolutely AMAZING! The entire WestPaws Staff is phenomenal! There aren’t words that describe the experience my family gets whenever either of my boys have an appointment. They handle them as if they were their own. My two guys Amadeus and Yoshi will never see another veterinarian other than Dr. Williams!

Absolutely horrible! Brought in my 14 year old INDOOR ONLY cat here for his shots and to check out a cyst he has on his tail. After repeatedly telling the techs that he was not a happy cat and didn't like strangers and I told them I had to wear gloves myself to get him in his carrier, which I also told them they should also wear gloves. But they chose not to wear any gloves at all. So, unsurprisingly he bit the vet tech. My cat didn't get any shots, no blood work was done, I was only told how much he weighted and I was charged $80! Then was told that Animal control would be called because of the bite. So now because of their stupidity Animal Control wants to take my 14 year old INDOOR CAT and quarantine him! AGAIN, my INDOOR cat who never goes outside! Thanks for nothing. Obviously I will be changing Veterinarians. Bring back Doctor Dan. A vet that actually cared about our animals.

Dr. Williams and Staff were amazing and compassionate. They were incredibly patient and understanding of our needs at a very critical time. I cannot thank them enough.

I had been taking my 3 cats to a different vet, and after being over charged multiple times for no results with my cats I switched to West Paws. Both Dr Paradises are wonderful, it took one thorough visit with Danielle to come up with a plan for each cat and after some different procedures and medication changes they are all happy and healthy and I don't have to worry about them anymore! Highly recommend this Vet Center!

My husband brought our dog there today for some blood tests because we suspected something was wrong, I called all around in the morning after a few failed attempts to get our dog seen other places, I stumbled upon WestPaws. They were the only ones who were understanding and had an open appointment and were glad to take a look at him. They were very informative and helpful with making sure we understood what we had to do, we even learned a few things about our dog that we were unaware of because we rescued him back in September. Just overall a great experience. Our dog is already doing 70% better and he's only been home for a few hours. Will be scheduling with them from now on.

Terrible!! Their vet tech should listen to their clients when they tell the tech how their pet is reacting and what they should do. When the tech doesn't listen to you and the pet reacts in a frightened manner, don't blame their pet. It is your fault! Unprofessional!!!! I will never bring my pet there and I will spread the word on what has happened.

I was 110% happy w the vet and the care there. The vet Dr Williams was very knowledgeable and more than kind and caring. Absolutely would recommend this place to anyone.

Caring, dedicated, and fantastic is how I would describe Dr. Danielle Paradise and West Paws Veterinary Center. when my dog was diagnosed with a rare, complicated health problem Dr Danielle was constantly updating me with test results, options and ideas. She researched constantly and cared for me as much as my dog. She is warm, reassuring, knowledgeable and compassionate. I cannot recommend Dr. Danielle and West Paws enough! THEY ARE THE BEST!

The staff and support staff a great. Most of the Dr's are good, but Marc Paradise is the face of the practice and shows up late without apology, and does not respond to messages.
