Dr. Murdock provides care for our rabbit and hedgehog. She is exceptionally skilled and knowledgeable when it comes to all small exotic mammals but is uniquely equipped to care for hedgies! East Bay Animal hospital has always been easy to work with and highly accommodating. They are always helpful for tips tricks and questions when it comes to your animals care. If you are looking for empathetic and professional veterinary care this place has got it!

Very nice staff. First time and felt like a regular.

We have been bringing our 3 fur babies (dogs) here for 9 years and I can't imagine ever using another vet. All of the staff are kind, patient and professional. I couldn't recommend them enough. Appropriate care and no unnecessary expenses. Thanks to all of them for making Layla's visit today as easy as possible for both of us!

I followed Dr Munson from Gansett because she is amazing. I needed a semi urgent appt for my dog, Miss Marvel, and they got me in within a few days and the way Dr Munson was with my girl was amazing. She was gentle with her and diagnosed her, got antibiotics and within two days my girl was feeling so much better. It was my first time here and the support staff are so very kind and patient. The office was clean and there is even a dog house in the waiting room. I was very impressed and have moved all of my dogs over to EBAH!!

I have been taking my cat to this vet for 5 years now and today I fed him a medicine that made him completely weak in the legs. He could not even walk and he was acting up after I fed him it. This is a medicine Doctor Anne Nutall prescribed to him and never told us the HORRIBLE mistake she made. She prescribed pills that are not even for cats in general, it’s for dogs. How can you possibly make a mistake like that? It’s extremely hard to mistake a Siberian petite cat for a dog. He is getting blood work done and he is extremely sick. I do not recommend this terrible unsafe vet to anyone ever. I was so worried for my cat today and went to the emergency room for him. They told us the doctor who prescribed this medicine is wrong and we should never return. Please do not attend this place for your animals safety. I’ll upload a picture of my animal. You tell me how you think that is a dog?

I had a scheduled c section for my dog for a few weeks. When I showed up for the pre surgery meeting a week before her due date, they informed me the doctor was going to be on vacation and could no longer do the surgery. On top of it. The called me the day prior to confirm the meeting and never mentioned this over the phone. They also let me sit in the waiting room for an hour before informing me this and that the appointment that day was useless. Worst service experience I had In my life.

Pleasant people, great place, pleasant atmosphere

All of the staff at East Bay are wonderful and caring but Dr Murdock has gone above and beyond to make our life and the life of our rabbit significantly better. Words cannot express the respect and appreciation we hold for Dr Murdock. She proved to us that she genuinely cares about our furry friends and the quality of life we are able to provide for them. We will be eternally grateful for everything Dr Murdock has done for our family.

I didn't have a good experience with East Bay Animal Hospital. Poor communication from staff and the Vet that I spoke to on the phone was rude. I had asked question before my puppies first appointment and was told one thing by the front desk people and then when speaking to the vet they told me a different thing and when I explained I had called and asked beforehand and that it was their office that gave me the advice the vet then said oh maybe it was someone new you spoke to. There are other examples of the poor communication. I was going to give this vets office another try and one morning I called around 7:45 because I had a question on the medication my puppy was on and I had some concerns. I was told the vet would give me a call once they got in, no one called so I called back that afternoon and I was told again the vet would call me that afternoon or by the end of the day. That never happened. I got a call the following day by one of the technicians not the vet. We decided to find another place for our dog.

We had a great experience for our first time going to East Bay, staff was very friendly. Spencer got to see Dr. Munson, she also was very friendly and knowledgeable of Saint Bernards which made me feel very comfortable???? looking forward to our next appointment!

Dr. Murdock is the best! She saw my rabbit for years. The staff here is also very nice. Prices are always reasonable. I will be taking my kitties here as well
