Hoffman Animal Hospital Providence, Rhode Island

I hardly write reviews, but this one is necessary. I can't say enough great things about the customer service and care I received on Saturday. My poor golden retriever had a very bad ear infection. I called all around and no once could schedule us. A friend recommended I call Hoffman. The woman scheduling the appointment was so kind and accommodating and you could tell she has a love and understanding for pets. They squeezed us in immediately. The doctor was extremely knowledgeable and kind. My dog felt so much better after leaving that appointment. Thank you for taking us and for being so welcoming!

This place is simply THE BEST. Great value -good service, very fair prices, and convenient -walk in when they’re open or schedule ahead. Blows my mind that someone would go to a chain vet, overpay, and be taken advantage of when you could take your pet to Hoffman

Dear Hoffman Animal Hospital Team Today I have been there with my cat Mila. And you charged me 85$. Then after leaving I see that you charged me 56$ for consultation. I was there maximum 5 min and you took my cat to separate room. Which consultation did you charge me? Shame on you. I will complain to another state bodies for this act which looks like I was cheated.

I will be switching vets because I've called multiple times and the lady answering the calls Is just the rudest lady ever all we ask is questions and all we get is an unfinished answer and a hell of an attitude ,like she does not want to deal with us dog parents. doctor, and staff may be nice but the calls should be answered by someone with better customer service skills!!!!not that hard to pick up a phone and just be nice. all she has to do is answer politely. PS: we took her to a new vet and they've been way nicer to us and my fur baby.

After many generations of happy pet care at Hoffman’s, we’re sadly not bringing our pets there any longer. My grand puppy was limping and clearly in pain. Our family tried to schedule an appointment several times but no one responded and then was told they were too busy.

Phone staff is very abrasive. I called regarding a concern with my pet when they are chocolate and staff was rude and kept cutting me off mid sentence. Also, while my dog was inside getting treated by the doctor, the secretary called and yelled at me to come get my dog. Love the vet and his techs but I have had a negative phone experience all 3x I have called Hoffman.

I brought my two cats in today for a long overdue exam. They were polite and professional from setting up the appointment right through pick up and drop off. They are very reasonable in their prices and prompt in their service. I definitely recommend Hoffman!

We had a GREAT experience with both Roman & Kobe. Dr. B is the best! Sam n Tia are great too and very knowledgeable.

1st of all they have been in business for a long time. I started coming in my early 20s now in my early 50s they are still awesome! They answer there phone every time no machines\very polite\to the Point! My baby is feeling a lot better only a day later, ty ❤️

Unfortunately, my experience was very unpleasant here. I would not recommend it.

Straight forward, honest, caring, cost effective. I've been to fancier animal hospital/vets before, with online profiles and all the whistles and it was lovely (also expensive) - but real, considerate care for both the furbaby and their human family is much harder to find. Very pleased to have stumbled upon Hoffman Animal Hospital!

Great vet , great staff, had dogs my hole life we went to dr. Hoffman 40 years ago when i was a little boy .. Hoffmans name means five star service .if you have pet"s this is the place to go! ( great pricing)

We had a serious problem with our dog. Charging us 100.00 for 5 minutes of nothing. They said to bring him somewhere else for testing. They were not any help. I would never have gone there of I knew they were unprofessional and very very rude. From the secretary to the Doctor who was very rude. I do not recommend this to any one who cares about there pet.. Obviously they did not.I always have good reviews on places I have visited. But not Hoffman animal hospital. There are many better Vets.
