If I could give 10 stars I would. They gave our Golden Retriever another good 1 1/2 years. When I brought him in for his first visit, he was really struggling to walk. By the end of the first treatment, he could walk better, and in a week after another treatment, was walking again! We continued to bring him back consistently for another year and a half. Everybody who works here is good at what they do, and above all else, they are kind. Dr Corey is brilliant.

They have helped me out a ton when I first moved here and my dog got fleas. They were able to fix it early and prevent my house from getting infested, and I’ve been coming here ever since! Dr. Corey is familiar with us and great with my dog, and I am confident his priority is my dog’s health and not making money. He regularly suggests places I can get something Sam needs at a cheaper price, when he could insist I buy it through him. Absolutely recommend for those in Providence.

I know 2 dogs who saw Dr. Corey. He is very nice and is good at what he does. This is a great place to bring a dog for rehabilitation after leg surgery. They are also knowledgeable on different medicines and supplements that may also help your pet out.

We brought our French Bulldog to see Dr. Corey after she had IVDD surgery. Dr. Cory has been absolutely amazing with our Fiona! The hydrotherapy and other physical therapy activities has really helped our fur baby! He takes his time to explain everything and showed us some great at-home PT activities that we can do with Fiona. So happy we found Healing Paws!

Dr. Corey and all of the staff at Healing Paws are extremely knowledgeable, kind, and very caring. I won’t forget my first impression of Dr. Corey on Fiona and I’s first visit a few months ago. Dr. Corey got right on floor on Fiona’s level to greet her and help her know she didn’t have to be intimidated, as she gets a bit anxious going into veterinary offices usually, but this was the first time I’ve ever seen a veterinarian do that. Fiona warmed up to him and his staff immediately, and has been benefiting immensely from each of her hydrotherapy visits. If your looking for a Veterinarian with great “bedside manner” as us nurses call it, look no further then Healing Paws as there we have surely found the BEST. I highly recommend Healing Paws to everyone, whether your looking for physical therapy for your pup, or a primary care veterinarian, Dr. Corey is simply the best!!! Thank you to everyone at Healing Paws for always taking such great care of my Fiona. We appreciate it more then you know! Sincerely, Fiona and Michelle

Great place to take your pet. I just moved out to RI from CO, and unfortunately my dog got fleas. This is not an issue in Colorado and I didn't know how to deal with the problem. Luckily, the vet was very helpful, answered all of my questions, and informed me of other important facts about owning a dog in Rhode Island. Would highly recommend.

The staff is very friendly. Beth helped my cat get comfortable in the space before the doctor came in and was very courteous and professional. Dr Amy Dwyer took her time during the exam to explain what she was doing and showed me a few tricks to applying the eye ointment. Overall great experience

Great rehabilitation facilty for my aging golden retriever. Dr Corey and his fabulous staff are knowledgeable and professional. The water rehab has truly helped my dog Belle with her stiffness and mobility due to her osteoarthritis. Better than anything Belle loves the weekly visits.

Jeff Corey is the best vet I have ever been to. He genuinely cares for your pets and will take every action possible to ensure their health. I can call him with a symptom that my cat or dog is exhibiting and if it sounds like something easy he will tell me a home remedy or a simple solution that does not cost me an arm and a leg. I am so glad I found this vet.

I don't write reviews BUT I had to it's my dog. When my dogs therapy tech - Jocelyn left Healing Paws I stopped going do to the lack of patience from the other tech (one time was enough). Let me add my dog was born blind - like Stevie W. he moves his head a lot and it was clear she had NO patience and just her attitude toward him was not one who likes dogs. After 3 years and THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS I found another place - twice I asked for his records to be sent to the new vet still didn't send the full records just a note. Healing Paws lost a big asset when Jocelyn left and I know I am NOT the only one who thinks that. Sad part is I don't think they even care! I will let me regular vet to refer therapy West Paws for therapy now (they were super)!

We starting taking our aging dog to Healing Paws based on the recommendation of our veterinarian, Providence River Animal Hospital. We took him there during the last year and a half of his life as his legs were starting to get weaker. They had our dog work on a lot of balance activities and water treadmill to build strength. We also did acupuncture treatments. To be honest, I knew nothing of acupuncture when we started it and doubted that it would work. But you'll do anything for your dog, so we gave it a chance. After a month or two, I noticed that our guy could jump into the back seat of the car again, something he had been unable to do for quite some time. After that, we kept going with the treatments because his mobility was much improved. Dr. Jeff and his team are really great and take amazing care or their patients. If you ever need this type of service, you can't go wrong here.
