I cannot say enough good things about this animal hospital. The staff are all so genuinely kind and caring, both over the phone and in person. Both the vets and techs obviously do what they can to make the animals feel comfortable in a typically uncomfortable situation. Everyone loves our little kitten and they do everything they can to give us the best options for her care. I don't feel like they are just trying to get our money, and with such amazing staff, I am happy to pay the reasonable service fees. This animal hospital is easy to find, right off of the rotary on Woonasquatucket, and there is plenty of parking.

The Best!!! They took in my cat asap and they were booked that day. The Vet's are detailed in giving the diagnosis and the treatment that would be required.

I would highly recommend not coming to this animal hospital. I was a victim of racial discrimination from another client and was disgusted by how the situation was handled by Staff.if you are a minority PLEASE STAY AWAY. The parkinglot staff did nothing but escalate the situation but what I found even more disgusting was the notes left on my Pets medical record. Providing no context to the racial slur that had been directed towards me making it increasingly difficult to find a new care provider;seems to have been done with Malicious intent.

The doctors explained what was going on very well and everyone was so compassionate throughout the difficult process. All the staff was very nice but Sam was especially kind and I want to give extra kudos to her.

This is by far the WORST animal hospital I have ever been to. They made multiple mistakes weighing my dog and issuing medication, not once but twice. I do not trust them with my animal and, if you care about yours, you shouldn’t either. Each time I had to go back to the facility to exchange the medication after I noticed the mistakes. When I expressed my concern to the staff they mentioned the manager, Tom, would call me right away. After not hearing from him for over 24 hours I contacted the hospital myself. He was not available but eventually called me back. When he did, he was discussing the completely wrong dog. He wasn’t even looking at the correct file. Just another mistake the facility made. Tom gave many excuses for the reasoning of the mistakes. He told me, “ The staff is newer“ and “We are doing the best we can in a hectic environment.“ I don’t know about you, but it is not reassuring when the manager calls the establishment a “hectic environment” and the best they can do means making multiple mistakes. A tiny mistake came mean life or death for your pet and that’s just not a chance I am willing to take. Tom said he would issue a refund for the two months worth of medication that were incorrect. When he passed me over to the receptionist, she didn’t have the correct medication for the refund on file. This just solidified my decision to never go back to this place again. I truly hope they get it together. If not, they’re going to hurt a lot of animals by “mistake”.

Today I came in with my puppy regarding an allergic reaction. This was the only “emergency” animal hospital out of 8 others I called who actually took the time to give me the best patient care. They were respectful, trustworthy and most importantly helped me get the best treatment for my puppy in such a short period of time. Thank you for your help today. Great place all around .

I lived in Rhode Island for 9 years and went to several different vets before landing at Ferguson. This place blew all the others (and there were several) out of the water. I was floored. I'd NEVER experienced caring, considerate, service on this level before. I was incredibly sad to leave the area and I can only hope I find a vet like this again. Go here. You (and your pet) won't regret it.

Ferguson has been amazing. We moved here 3 years ago and started with another vet's office downtown. We are so happy with our switch over the Ferguson. Dr. Deegan is the greatest and the whole office is crazy nice. They have been there with us through some tough times and we would recommend them to anyone!

Last year, I brought my cat here to have a skin growth checked out. The doctor confirmed it was just a skin tag and did not pressure me into an expensive biopsy or surgery to remove it like I feared. (And of course it fell off on its own a little while later) I have had poor experience in the past with other vets where it very much felt like they tried to milk as much money out of you as possible at the detriment of the animal as well. Just this week, my cat became very sick. Dr. Marandola examined him, ran some bloodwork (I was concerned about the cost and he was able to cut out some unnecessary ones to bring it down). and explained the best case scenario would be to put him to sleep. Both Dr. Marandola and the vet tech that assisted (I'm sorry I can't remember her name but she was such a sweetheart) were compassionate and respectful to both me and my cat during the entire process. I was able to spend some time with my buddy before, during, and after the procedure. They also arranged for the cremation with Final Gift (I've used them in the past for my older cats, they are excellent as well) which I am grateful for. Considering the bloodwork, exam, euthanasia and cremation, the costs were quite reasonable. This is a practice that very much cares for animals and I feel do not exploit pet parents. I would recommend to anyone and will be bringing my other animals here in the future. Thank you greatly for helping me deal with this difficult time.

They helped my cat today. She had a lump on her abdomen which turned out to be breast cancer. They took very good care of her and made it easy for me to understand and help her through this situation.
