This place was a very good family place that is number one number two they treated everybody and my wife and I very much respect towards our baby indy and also she was very respectful as well as explaining what was going to go on what happened and what was INDY eed yearly checkup if you want to go anywhere please stop by here they're very very good vet for your family animals...

I had someone call their emergency help line for me because my pet needed a vet right away. The receptionist was callous and uncaring. She said they could not see my pet until six days later at the earliest, and maybe not even then. When asked where my pet could go, she rattled off several names so quickly that they couldn't even be written down. We had to ask her to slow down and repeat the names so we could record them. To be treated this badly when calling specifically on an emergency phone extension is outrageous and unacceptable.

They love your pets almost as much you do.

We have been going to Dr.Bird since she moved there 20 some odd yrs ago.They helped my 95pound lab n trust me he is a handfull.Also she used to take stray wildlife( raccoons, possums, birds, squirrels) n care for them not sure if she still does.

We were very impressed with Veterinary Services of Wickford. They were very professional and organized, even in the time of COVID.

Dr. Bird is so caring and thorough. Wouldn't bring my pets anywhere else.

I came here without an appointment and the staff were great. They accommodated us to care for our parrotlet. Dr. Bird is amazing and you can tell she loves the animals. She gave is good advice on care and nutrition. We did not have to back for a second visit. Our little birdie is doing well. Love this place and its definitely worth the drive.

We took our dog to see Dr. Bird for his entire life. He recently had to be put to sleep and the veterinary staff handled the situation with a lot of compassion, despite likely dealing with these kinds of events on a regular basis. It was very hard for my family, but we appreciated the life-long care provided by Veterinary Services of Wickford.

Professional and clean vet service; took care of our pet right away and referred us to the proper specialist for full care. Highly recommend.

You can tell a lot about a place of business by how they handle emergencies. I found myself in a difficult position with car trouble and the amazing people here offered to let me inside for some cold water and air conditioning. If I had a pet, I'd want to take them to a place like this: where people are humane, caring and very thoughtful. Almost makes me want to get a pet...Almost.

From caring for a new puppy to helping an old friend cross the rainbow bridge, this practice shows great care and compassion. Both Dr. Bird and Dr. Martin are thorough and take their time with their patients family to be sure we understand how to care for our beloved pets

Dr. Bird and her entire staff are compassionate, caring and skilled. My pet and I were seen on time. Dr. Bird does a thorough exam and explains her recommendations. I could not recommend this practice more highly. Your beloved pet will be in good hands.

I unfortunately had to put my rabbit down and Dr. Bird and staff were just amazing! They were so good to my kids and I. We were devastated and having a really hard time and they let us take as long as we needed with him after he was put down. They were patient, empathetic and just extremely kind. The best part however is how they were with my rabbit. They were so good with him. I have been to several vets over the years but none compared to Veterinary Services of Wickford. Since rabbits are considered an "exotic" pet, you can't just go to any Vet, you have to go to one that sees a lot of different types of "exotic" pets which is great for me as I own several such as chinchillas, reptiles and fish. I will never go elsewhere in the future.

Although routine visits went well, my dog was scheduled twice to get neutered (given the iv and sedated) and did not have the surgery either time. I was not happy the first time but decided to give them another chance. Bad decision on my end. My poor dog has been needlessly sedated twice and still has not been neutered. I was even charged for the first sedation. Very unprofessional and unsafe.

My pets have been coming to Dr Bird for 22 years. I wouldn't bring them anywhere else. The staff is friendly and accommodating and treat my pets like family.

Dr Bird is the best there is. She is thorough and knowledgeable. I wouldn't trust bringing my dogs to anyone else.
