The best pet store; always helpful in maintaining aquariums and have everything needed for dogs/cats/etc.

Hi i love this place they took in my 2 pets George,Rex.I am so gratfull i got to find a place for them.An a place that takes good care of them till they have a new home.I miss both of them but i know they are in good hands.

I absolutely love Critter Hut ????. I have been going there for approximately 30 years. Everybody is so willing to help! They are also so very nice and so educated!! Highly recommend!!

Very friendly and helpful staff with low prices. The reason for 3 stars is that the store isn’t too clean, and nearly all of the tanks are overstuffed with animals or not maintained well. There was a large ball python in the back in a 10 gallon enclosure. That is way too small for a ball that size.

Cool snakes, lizards and other reptiles.

Store over crowded with no staff. Told I would be next to receive help getting fish and sales person continued to wait on others checking them out. Not good service.

Highly recommend signing up to their customer program because when a heat light bulb broke after 2 months and I didn't have the reciept they were able to track our purchase replaced it for free!! In fact, I didn't even ask for a free replacement - it was their idea!! Great service! Thanks Critter Hut team!!

Very knowledgeable staff. If they don't carry something in the store they are always happy to order it for you. I always come here for feeder bugs because they have many more options than chain stores and you can buy any quantity you want.

I have been going to Critter hut since I was a very small child. I have never had a bad experience in those 30+ years. They are very accommodating and super knowledgeable about all of their critters. I could not reccomend them enough.

Great selection have gone there for all my animal needs over the years whether anti-flea products for my cat or aquarium filters. Staff exceptionally helpful. They always carry or can super quickly order anything I need. Should definitely be your first stop when looking for anything pet related.

Yesterday I adopted two baby Dumbo rats. Sam and Frodo are two of the sweetest rats I have ever met. The help I received was amazing as well.

Every time I go there, I find something cool. The staff is very helpful and approachable. They test most of the products before they sell them. I moved 2900 miles away and still support them. Delivery is faster than Amazon. A delivery system they developed with their distributors during these crazy times. I can’t even find a small business as good as this one in California. Support local, even when you’re not. This money goes to real families working hard for you.

Critter Hut is by far one of the best pet stores locally to South County. The service is amazing and the people are genuine pet/animal lovers. After my daughter's hamster died, we were looking for a replacement pet. She loves rats, and as we started our search, we were told by PetSmart in Westerly that rats were illegal in Rhode island. Only to find out going to critter Hut, that was not the case. We purchased two of the most adorable dumbo rats I have ever seen... Again, this staff and store is amazing. They truly care about pets and their pet parents... Thank you Critter Hut for restoring my faith in humanity!!!
