Wolf Rock is an extraordinary place to help your pet no matter what their needs are. The staff goes above and beyond to provide the highest quality of holistic care for your animals. The offer a wide variety of services, and my family and I are extremely pleased with everything they have done for our pet!!!

There is so much to say about this Veterinarians office. Walking in is so peaceful. You feel so comfortable the whole time at your furry best friends visit. The vet technicians and doctor, Elizabeth Hassinger are incredibly patient, passionate and intelligent. Dr. Hassinger helped out with our 7 year old aussie as he was diagnosed with cancer. We went to many other vets but wolf rock was the only place that had faith in helping him. So far he has turned around since December and acting like his silly self. We can't thank this Veterinarians office enough.

I've had two experiences with wolf Rock. The first one was 20 years ago when I first moved to the area and I had a great dane that was 12 years old had become incontinent and it was time for her to be put to sleep. The woman on the phone spoke with the vet and they insisted on alternative treatments such as acupuncture etc etc. I went somewhere else. Second experience was my daughter was working on it local Farm And We rescued a goat. The goat had fallen into some tar and long story short had a broken leg. The leg was set by someone in bandages and it was healing nicely she was walking and doing great. However her new mom had decided that she wanted to get the leg checked out and perhaps reset if necessary she died under anesthesia at Wolf Rock.

This group has been fabulous to our pup for over 7 years. Their approach is the best for your family pet. I love that they look for the best solution for your pup, and not looking to sell you all types of meds to remedy the issue. Additionally, they have done chiropractic work on my pup and it has changed his world....bringing back his youthful side.

Dr. Hassinger & staff are all very knowledgeable & great. But the care I received when I had to humanely have my dog put to sleep was above and beyond. It was an emergency visit and they knew why we were there, but still gave my dog oxygen so she was comfortable in her last few minutes with us. Dr. Hassinger also lit a candle and went through a small ceremony of sorts before the lethal injection. This showed me that she was totally in tune with what I needed right then and was in no hurry to get the deed done and get on to her next patient. Dr. Hassinger sat with us for a bit then let us have as much time as we needed to cry in her office, hugging our beloved pet after she stopped breathing, until we were ready to leave. It is not an easy thing to do, but I felt like they all shared our grief and this meant a lot to me and my husband.

The absolute best vet in the state. I am willing to travel an hour from where I live just to see Dr. Liz. Compassionate, knowledgeable. The ONLY vet who has made an independent study of pet nutrition, well worth a visit if your regular vet is having trouble finding a remedy. She knows her stuff and what you will learn will surprize you.

Dr. Liz and her amazing team at Wolf Rock have been taking care of my dogs for the last 8 years. She treated my elderly family dog until she passed and she has been treating my two weimaraners since they were 2. I cannot recommend them enough. Dr. Liz always makes you feel as if you are the only patient of the day. She is compassionate always and firm when she needs to be. I was having a major meltdown about a problem with my little girl and couldn't calm down so she finally just looked me in the eye and said "You need to trust me, I know I can fix this, you just have to give it time." And she did. She fixed the problem good as new. I trust her and her staff so much, I have no problem sending someone else there with my own dogs because I can't take any time off from my new job. I could call the office 10 times before my dogs arrive to tell them "just one more thing" and they are just as kind to me on the 10th call as they are on the 1st. Knowing my dogs get the same care whether I am in the building or not, that is the kind of service you will get from the entire team at Wolf Rock.

Dr. Hassinger has been an essential part of all of my dogs’ lives since the first time we walked into Wolf Rock Animal Health Center in 1998. What she did for my dog Jasmine was nothing short of a miracle. When all other vets had given up hope, Dr. Hassinger gave her quality of life back and made me a believer in holistic vet care. Over the last 15 years all the care that my dogs have received at Wolf Rock has undoubtedly helped them to live happier, healthier and longer lives. All of the staff is always compassionate, understanding, knowledgeable, patient and caring. This is a staff that truly cares about their clients and their four legged family members.
