Very professional. Sweet and caring staff the best animal hospital in Rhode Island!!

I cannot recommend Coventry Animal hospital enough. I called them hysterical with an emergency. My dog has never been there before. The super kind woman who answered my call calmed me down with such compassion listened to what was going on with my dog and told me to stay by the phone she would call me back in a minute. She literally called me back 30 seconds later and told me to get my dog in right away. They took my dog in 2 hours before they closed and did an emergency surgery on him, they saved his life. I cannot sing their praises enough they really went above and beyond for me and my dog. Prices are absolutely phenomenal. I am changing where I take my dogs for there care to Coventry Animal hospital. They get 10 stars from me. They took the best care of my baby, he is back to normal just 24 hours later. I highly recommend Coventry Animal hospital.

A pleasant experience. This was our first visit since moving to Coventry from out of state last year. We have 2 small dogs and needed annual shots, 100,000 mile check ups, blood work etc. Both Vet tech and Vet were very kind and friendly towards our dogs. They set both at ease with genuine feeling. This was the most relaxed in that setting we have seen them in 12 years. They were also great to us as well. Definitely a 5+ star review. No disappointments. We have found our new Vet.

I am a certified veterinary technician myself, and when it was time to choose a veterinarian for my service dog Beam, I knew whom to look for. I had an honor to personally know and to work with most doctors at Coventry Animal Hospital, and saw their professionalism, their dedication, their love for animals. Now, each time I take Beam to a doctor, be it an annual wellness exam or any problem he may develop, I realize that my best friend is in very good hands. As a veterinary professional, I highly recommend to choose Coventry Animal Hospital when choosing a doctor for your pet or your assistant animal.

I take my 4 iguanas and my slider turtle here its the only place I would go if your a reptile owner Dr. Hank Weesma has great knowledge of all reptiles he also did bound egg surgery on my female iguana wouldn't recommend going anywhere else but here. 5 ????

Our 22 year old cockatiel had reached the time when he could no longer enjoy his life on earth. The great staff and vets at Coventry Animal Hospital were able to help him peacefully transition to bird heaven. The staff here were compassionate and professional. We will bring our pets here for future care. Thank you to all the staff who helped us during a difficult time.

Dogs were well cared for

I absolutely love this office. The veterinarians are all top notch. The office staff is always accommodating and caring. Their prices are fair as well.

The worst experience I have ever had with a Vet. I 110% do not recommend. Every negative comment on the internet about them that I have read is true. What I just dealt with turned me off and I left. Like the Vet just rudely said to me, there are hundreds of other Vets in the state and if I'm not happy there then go to them. Those words alone say it all.

July 27 2021 Brought our boxer/mastiff in with an accident to his tail. The doctor, assistants and entire staff are incredible. Not only was our dog in great hands for his pretty urgent procedure but it was quick, efficient and the cost was shockingly less than we could've imagined. Great experience all around. The staff is very friendly but more importantly kind to the pets. Dr. Lester was warm, thorough and very informative. Best experience I've had with a vet in a long time.

Great place. Great Doctors and staff

I’ve had such a great experience at Coventry Animal Hospital! I recently took my English bulldog mix puppy for her first visit. Everyone from office staff to the vet himself truly care about the pets and seem to love what they do! They are responsive, I emailed for a follow up and they got back to me in less than an hour. A HUGE change from previous vets I’ve used in the best way! And they are very reasonably priced! Highly recommend!!

We have a cat with bad skin allergies,she's always so comfortable with the staff, who are very helpful and pleasant, and gentle. She has seen a few of the doctors here, and they've all been wonderful.
