The Meadows Pet Resort York, Pennsylvania

I took my pup here for 1 night back in October. The staff was great and took great care of our dog, even with him being difficult sometimes.

Our experience at the Meadows was Amazing!!! Our little Abby Lynn was treated with kindness and compassion ❤... Abby was petrified of thunder and we shared that with the staff, we then found out after being away for several weeks that some of the staff would hold Abby while doing office work during several mid summer thunderstorms to help with her anxiety . Abby Lynn ⁰has passed on now but we are grateful to the Meadows for the compassion they showed with Abby and in the future when we adopt another puppy should she need boarded it will definitely be at the Meadows.. As the Visa commercials say some things are priceless!!!!! Compassion is definitely on that list.

Great place to take your pets when you are away. They are great with the animals!

Dallas is an old man at 13. The staff took excellent care of him so that we could enjoy our vacation without worry. Don't kennel often, but this will always be his place

Flexible schedule. This was our second time using their boarding service. Checkin and check out were went smoothly.

First, it is not a "resort." It is a kennel. Second, they offer additional services such as a "nature walk" which is really a walk around the parking lot. It seemed like an OK place when I visited before deciding to leave my dog there. However, when I picked him up it smelled so bad and my dog smelled bad too. He also was constipated which he has never been in his 6 years of life. Update: my review has nothing to do with fees, I did not complain at all about the fees. I was told by your employee that you no longer own the land for the "nature walks" and that my dog would only be walked around the parking lot. Maybe there needs to be reeducation if staff.

Kim is the best and helps you when in need and so sweet love them all how tjey treat dogs like dogs n not breed

Excellent place to me cat

We had boarded our dog Ally at another kennel and seemed to always have issues from her smelling horrible to her having health issues afterwards. I called The Meadows to view the kennel and they said sure, anytime we are open. After viewing and using their services we wouldn’t take Ally anywhere else. You can tell from her actions to the person bringing her back to us that her stay was pleasant and she is well cared for.

I am one of Pegs and Don's first customers. My first two Springers Kelly and Maggie affectionately referred to as the "wash basket girls" loved it at the Meadows and since then Patti, Pepper, Zoey, Molly, Sonic, Sadie have enjoyed staying at the Meadows. We wouldn't take our pets anywhere else. The place is so clean, you could eat off the floor. We even brought our cat Stewart for boarding

We LOVE this resort for our cat Noki. The staff is always super friendly(including the office cats lol) and super professional. We trust them with our pet and recommend them to all our friends and family.

After going to 3 other kennels, I decided to use Meadows for our then 1 year old boxer/shepherd mix. We have used the kennel 3-4 times per year for 4 years now. Our dog was badly injured one year (not at the kennel) and the first time that we had to go away and she was still somewhat recuperating, they did such a wonderful job accommodating her needs - private walks on the leash away from all of the other dogs so that she wouldn't attempt running at all to re-injure herself, etc.... I am a very picky person, and I just can not say enough good things about all of our experiences here!

Great friendly happy staff who has a pure love for animals. We sent our lab there while we went to Florida and she came back happy and refreshed. I wouldnt take our doggie anywhere else

My Max felt so comfortable, that the first time he went, I went to pick him up and there he was on the groomers lap just hanging out!

Will DEFINITELY USE THIS WONDERFUL PET RESORT/KENNEL again! Our 10mth old Lab mix never missed a beat when she was picked up and when she got home... no anxiety! I love that her Play Time.. in the HUGE fenced area, is just One-on-One time with staff. I could text or call staff if I had anxiety.. of my own... but didn't feel it necessary, because i knew she was in great hands!! The Staff did an excellent job and went ABOVE & BEYOND, for our little girl!!

Very clean. Staff is wonderful. My dog loves the indoor/outdoor option so he can lay in the sun.

Great facility. Dogs are always well cared for and happy. They are meticulous in writing down everything about your pet and leave you feeling sure your animals will be safe and sound when you return.

We were very comfortable with leaving our pets (2 yr Boxer & 8yr Tabby) after the questions and documentations the manager made at registration time. Both pets require medications and there was no question they would be administered correctly. We called twice in a 5 day period and the status was comforting. We plan to use them again for an upcoming 6 day cruise. Very satisfied.

Baxter can't wait to go back!! He loves it there and the staff love him!!
