I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the staff at the cat hospital. We lost our fur baby a few months ago and they did everything they could from staying open late to fit us in to calling around for an ER for us and everything in between. Just recently a stray wandered into our lives and they got us in same day for an appointment on New Year’s Eve and got us all taken care of. If you have a cat, you should not be taking them anywhere but the cat hospital. Truly one of a kind people there!

I adopted a sick, old kitty in October of 2020. Cc cat hospital has been with me every step of the way nursing my little guy back to health. Thank you, CC Cat Hospital! All of you are amazing! Toad and I love you!!

Chester County Cat Hospital is the best vet I've ever been to!! I just moved to the West Chester area from Maryland, and I almost went with another vet. I will never go anywhere else!! They've taken such quality care of my elder cat, Basil. They are so knowledgable, professional, friendly, and extremely accommodating!! He's had some issues the past couple of weeks, and they have been able to squeeze him in the same day I call with a problem. I've never truly felt like a vet has cared for a single pet I've had the way CCCH has. I have nothing but amazing things to say -- the quality of care is unmatched.

I have so many good things to say about this place and yesterday our experience at the Chester County Cat Hospital was so far above and beyond exceptional that I felt it was important to write a review. Yesterday we noticed our cat wasn't acting normal and we decided to make a vet appointment for next week. After a couple hours of more worrying, we decided he needed to be seen sooner. We called around lunch time and they fit us in for 3pm even though they didn't have any open appointments. When we got to the cat hospital, it was clear that they were dealing with a few similar situations. They knowingly overbooked themselves on a short-staffed Friday because they were concerned for our cat. Dr Stadler noticed our cat wasn't well and decided to get bloodwork and urine. Our cat is 17 years old and very mean and he was extremely dehydrated at the time of the appointment. Despite my cat being a nightmare, despite it being late on a Friday afternoon, despite being overbooked, she got an EXTREMELY hard blood draw and got our old man diagnosed. The diagnosis isn't good. He has pretty advanced chronic kidney disease and at best we only have a few more months with him. Dr Stadler immediately called every emergency vet in the area and got us in with a local emergency vet for the weekend to treat some of the more immediately concerning problems. They were supposed to be closed at 4:30 pm and we were there until 5:30. When Dr Stadler was talking to us about treatment options, she was extremely empathetic and we could tell how sad she was for us. The Chester County Cat Hospital's level of care and passion for cats is unmatched. We are so lucky to be patients at the CCCH. Yesterday the efforts of Dr Stadler were heroic and I felt it was important other people know about it.

I've always had a great experience at the Chester County Cat Hospital, and can't say enough good things. I've now brought a few cats with chronic issues here over the years, and their doctors and staff are always knowledgeable, friendly, compassionate, and very helpful. I appreciate everything they do for their patients, especially when you have a sick kitty, and wouldn't want to take my cats anywhere else!

Our Whiskers suddenly began losing weight, so we took him there to be looked at. Sadly, it turned out to be cancer, and we had to let him go. Chester County Cat Hospital treated us humanely and honestly through the process. Any other vet would have subjected us to hundreds of dollars worth of tests, only then to tell us there would be nothing we could do for him, and possibly give us the “what’s-the-big-deal-it’s-not-like-it-was-a-dog-or-anything” vibe. Chester County Cat Hospital was honest about the reality of the situation, and helped us do the right thing as smoothly and humanely possible. Whiskers, meanwhile, remains immortalized in my icon.

I was nervous about taking my cat to the vet as he is terrified of strangers. He freaked out a little at first but they were very gentle and understanding how scared he was. Brought my cat in Thursday as a emergency when everyone was booked in the area. Turned out my baby had a ear hematoma and they had him in surgery and read to come home in less then 2 hours. Hes home resting. They did an amazing job.

I brought my 9 year old cat in when my boyfriend had brought another cat home and I had noticed my cat was having difficulty swallowing and eating hard food. They diagnosed my cat and my boyfriend’s cat with an upper respiratory infection and we were given medications for both of them. This sickness led to the diagnosis of my cat’s cancer - squamous cell carcinoma - she was diagnosed at a different cat hospital. At the time, I really appreciated the way Chester County Cat Hospital handled my animals and so when the time came I went to them for her euthanasia. The veterinarian came in, two needles in hand. I have seen quite a few animals be put down..the vet SHOULD come in, explain what’s going to happen, ask when you’re ready, and then begin. She DID NOT. She came in, gave Mimi the one needle and then said she’s going to become sleepy now. I started sobbing, I didn’t get to say goodbye, and then she went to give the second needle. I wasn’t prepared for any of this so I asked for a moment. The vet left the room and then got on a phone call. When I asked for her to come back in, they told me she would just be a moment. It WAS NOT just a moment. I watched as my sweet Mimi began to choke on her own breath, as she had been anesthetized, but the second shot was not given nor was she intubated. She choked on her own breath for TOO LONG before the vet finally came back in and gave her the second needle. Like I said I have seen quite a few animals be put down, and this one was by far the worst and BY FAR the MOST scarring. After her passing, I was contacted numerous times about updating my contact/address information. I finally snapped and called and said what a horrible job had been done and how there is no need for me to update anything since I don’t own another cat and had no intentions of ever coming back even if I did get another cat. Well, now 5 months later, I am still being contacted by them for annual wellness reminders for my boyfriend’s cat. Not even my own cat. I had to call a second time and ask for my contact information to be taken off. The lady who responded sounded insincere with her apologies and asked what they could do. When I asked what could they possibly do for me, she said she didn’t know. Heartless. Heartless. Heartless. My heart is forever broken from this situation. On top of this, the company they use to do ink paw prints is HORRENDOUS. I was sent two ink paw prints, one ceramic, and one pouch. The pouch contained some of Mimi’s fur. This was NOT requested nor appreciated. I can’t even look at it without crying, but I don’t feel I can throw it out either. Along with that, the ink paw prints don’t even resemble a paw print on the slightest and the ceramic paw print doesn’t even resemble my cat’s paw. She was a polydactyl so it is fairly easy to tell. I am bawling my eyes out writing this review because I am so beyond scarred by this entire experience.

I am absolutely grateful for CC Cat Hospital. Yesterday was my first time ever coming here. My boy Sebastian had a red rash all over his ears, and after calling many hospitals around for an appointment I wasn’t having any luck due to COVID-19. So I stumbled across CC Cat hospital and they were able to squeeze him in that same day! Dr. Otoole checked him out and came to a solution. Answered all the questions I had and was the nicest person ever! It hasn’t even been 24 hours yet and his rashes are already clearing up. They saved me a whole lot of worry. I think Sebastian found his forever doctor, we are going to come back with any future issues!

I have always received great care from this veterinary location. All of the doctors care about the cats and treat them with love and respect. When my cat unexpectedly came down with a fleabourne illness that caused temporary paralysis and dehydration, the treatment that they gave her saved her life. They also helped my cat with palliative care when she was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Dr. Seider has called me personally and taken the time to discuss my cat’s cancer with compassion. We even received a condolences email when we informed them that she passed. We are taking our new kitten there next week so she can get the same level of care. Highly recommend!

So personable and patient with my questions. Even during Covid times and not being able to go in with my cat they made me feel comfortable and in the loop. 10/10 would recommend.

I recently moved to the area during COVID's shutdown and was in need of a closer vet. One of my cats got what appeared to be an allergic reaction to a topical flea medication. Front desk was very understanding and helpful and Dr. Connor was so nice! He examined my cat and got him started on some antibiotics and steroids. My cat is doing great and I hope once things calm down, I can have my other cat be seen for an annual exam. Thank you, Cat Hospital Staff!

Back in November my cat became very sick wheezing and wasn't able to breathe properly. I was calling all of the vets around the area and finally called the Chester County Cat Hospital. They were able to get him in ASAP that day and found that he was having an asthma attack. The doctor was so sweet and super helpful during a very stressful time. I have nothing but good things to say about my experiences here!

I have been going to the Chester County Cat Hospital for years. Everyone is super nice, helpful, and so sweet with the kitty cats. Bit out of my way, but it's worth it. Fair pricing too!

I have 2 cats. First one at age 10 was diagnosed with a tumor and we were told to do this specific surgery. We agreed and went with the surgery. Our cat after the surgery within days was foaming at the mouth, clearly in intense pain which seemed much worse after the surgery. Had to put him down shortly after. We put our cat through so much more pain with the suggested surgery for absolutely nothing. Had a second cat with exact same issues (tumor in same spot) but older. Took him to a different vet and were told that the previous surgery that was performed on our first cat was a very poor choice for the problem. Was advised differently and for a different surgery and that cat has been back to his old self for years since the surgery. Chester county hospital completely misled us and pretty much led us to put our cat through way more pain than necessary. We have never gone back since

I am so so grateful for this place and the wonderful vets. They were able to squeeze us in for an appointment on a Saturday and do an impromptu surgery on our Sphynx cat. The vets were amazing with him and took such good care of him while also keeping me and my boyfriend calm the whole time. I can literally not speak highly enough of them. They’ve also been so accommodating in the past with every other issue we’ve brought our cats in for. 5 stars is not enough.

After calling my regular vet and they would not fit me in and told me to call elsewhere, I came back to the cat hospital with my cat who was suffering with a minor UTI. They got us in immediately and as always Dr. Conner and the ladies fixed my boy right up. I will and do always recommend anyone with a cat to go here. They truly love cats (as i guess my regular vet does not). THANK YOU guys again

The staff clearly love cats. It is an understatement to say they care about the animals they care for. They are very affordable, and very good with the animals.

I saw Dr Connor today with my 12 year old cat. He was having trouble breathing and was diagnosed with heart failure. Dr. Connor was so great. He spent so much time with us, made sure Matt the cat was comfortable, and really seemed to enjoy teaching about Matt’s illness. He performed an emergency thoracentesis to drain the fluid around Matt’s lungs. He recommended a cardiologist, who I will see tomorrow. The staff was awesome. The nurse and tech were so great in making sure Matt was taken care of and they were incredibly knowledgeable. They went above and beyond and I appreciate it so much.
