A neighbor's dog grabbed one of our chickens. I got her away from the dog almost immediately. She showed no outward symptoms of the attack, but became listless over the coming days until it was clear she needed help. I Googled "chicken vet near me" and Dr Bob popped up on top of the list. He said she was infected and dehydrated as a result. He hydrated her and started antibiotic treatment; gave her a 50-50 chance of pulling though. Chipper chick was much better the next day and recovered fully. Thanks Dr Bob for fixing chickens.

We have been going to Dr. Bob for over 20 years. He takes excellent care of all of our animals and we respect him. When we pull into the driveway, instead of crying, our dog does a happy dance. He loves Dr. Bob and he is an excellent judge of character.

Dr. Bob is hands down the best vet I've ever had. He really truly cares about your animals and my pets notice this and LOVE him. He walks through options with you and makes sure you are comfortable with what he is doing. Go see Dr. Bob!

Went to him because of the decent reviews. He seemed nice enough, just very short when speaking to me. A few months later I am trying to adopt a pet and as natural the vet reference was required. I put him down and then called him to let him know to expect a call. He had not seen all of my animals at this point bc we just switched to him due to our vet closing down. I told him I would send over the vaccination records and if he did not have them by the time the shelter called he would explain that. Instead, I receive an email from the shelter saying how rude and short he was with them and he blatantly lied saying my animals were not vaccinated! Which is completely untrue and not what we spoke about on the phone. How hard would it be to say I haven't received the vaccination records yet because they are new clients? Overall my experience with him has been unpleasant and I distrust him now because of what he said to them.

Dr. Bob is the absolute best person to bring your avian friends to for care.

I live in Pittsburgh and some how my debit card was fraudulently used for 400.00 at this clinic, I called and advised them it was not me, I was at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh at the time the transaction happened. They credited back my money while I was on the phone with them. I want to thank them for quick response. I am so very grateful.

DON'T BRING YOUR PET HERE! Dr Bob CANCELED my EMERGENCY appointment (while my pet is SUFFERING) - told me to come back in TWO WEEKS - then HUNG UP THE PHONE! I never got a chance to say ONE WORD! If you LOVE your pet, take them ELSEWHERE. WORST vet experience EVER - COAST TO COAST!

Dr. Bob is an amazing person and veterinarian! From chickens, to guinea pigs, and now a golden retriever, he is knowledgeable and a true professional. He cares about his patients and is a joy to be around. From a person who has had many animals and many veterinarians, I highly recommend him and will be sticking with this wonderful veterinarian for all the years to come!

We love Doctor Bob, he helped take care of my Sun Conure and my moms African Grey! His number has recently been disconnected and I hope he hasn’t quit his business!!

Besides being a very capable veterinarian, Dr. Bob is caring, kind, and gentle with his patients. Our little dog Holly can be nervous around strangers, but Dr. Bob always puts her at ease. Great care from a wonderful doctor!

Dr. Bob is an excellent veterinarian, has flexible with scheduling, and is excellent with both Avian and Furry species. He has removed a tumor from my parakeet, which can be very risky since they are such small birds. The bird not only survived, but has thrived after her surgery!

Dr. Bob is an amazing Vet, and an amazing human being. He is kind, patient, and talented. He cared for my rabbit for over 13 years. He taught me me how to care for my rabbit and I couldn't be more grateful. If he is your vet, you are blessed.

Our dog, Daisy was a huge part of our family. She was like a child to us. So when it came time for her to be euthanized, my husband and I were distraught to say the least. We took her in to Dr. Bob, who was her vet and he was so respectful. Her procedure was peaceful. He gave us space as a family to be with her and grieve. She was at peace and at ease. I had an experience in the past with another vet that left me scarred so I was quite worried about how this would go. I can honestly say I wouldn’t have had Daisy go any other way. She was with just us, being comforted, held, and loved. Thank you Dr. Bob for making her last memories so peaceful and comfortable.

I was so worried when my vet went AWOL. I miss Dr. Novak lots but Harry, my african grey is in excellent hands with Dr. Bob. He is very, thorough and takes the time to help you understand everything you need to know about your pet. Regardless of what kind it is❤

Dr Bob specializes in birds but will see common pets as well with the same level of care expected of a larger vet office in addition to the much more personable and caring aspect of an individual. I cant recommend him enough when our bird was sick with an unknown illness he was able to both give treatment options and explain how they would help. If it hadnt been for Dr Bob our poor Nami wouldnt have made it.
