Dr. Bower and his team are simply the best there is. No matter how busy they are, your pets care is always their highest priority. They have saved my older dogs life so many times over the years, that I lost count. The service is impeccable. The quality of care is superb. And the cost of care has always been very reasonable. I travel farther than necessary to bring my dog there, but it’s always been so worth it to me, as I trust no one else more. J. Young- Bushkill, PA

LOVE them there! Dr. Bower genuinely cares and the staff is always pleasant. Staff has DECADES of experience and they have very reasonable pricing.

This was the first time taking my puppy to a vet in this area. i’ll NEVER go back to this overcharging, scamming place. First off it’s in a weird, shady area off the side of a highway that has bad cell service. Then, the mean looking front desk lady was rude as hell when I didn’t know that I should wait in the car and call rather than bring my dog. To top it off, i was charged $160 for a vague diagnosis from the Dr., no proper testing and 2 WEEK supply of medicine. What tf is 2 weeks supposed to do for a sick dog?? Extra star for the super sweet Vet assistant who picked up my dog from the car and their Covid restrictions.

Wow I can't believe some of the negative reviews I've been going to Dr Bowers with my pets since 2005 I cannot list all the things he's done for my pets over the years but one time stands out and I'll explain that to you 2019 I just recently lost my border Collie couple months later my dog roo started gagging and panting Dr Bowers took me right in did an x-ray immediately somehow roo swallow a rock it was stuck in his spleen surgery was scheduled immediately the next day Dr Bowers came in on his day off didn't have to but he did not only that but he called me just to let me know everything was okay with the surgery cuz he knew I'd worry that's only one time I can tell you there's been so many he's very patient and compassionate and always puts the pet first doesn't order unnecessary tests unless they need it I never felt like he was taking advantage of me you can trust him and best of all he listens to you I would never go anywhere else as for his staff they're great what more can you say they're always there for you they'll make an appointment quick I'm not sure what happened with the other negative reviews I can only tell you about my experiences recently I had transportation problems but Dr Bowers made sure that somebody was there on a Saturday or himself on his day off again to make sure roo got his injection Dr Bowers always takes that extra step for your dog or cat what more could you want even if you have to wait a while to be seen isn't it worth it Barbara

We recently need to switch groomers since one of our pups became quite aggressive and needs to be sedated to be treated. The groomer was great. She went over everything with us. The Vet gave them both a quick check up prior to grooming. They turned out great. All went well. We will be back!

I OWE DR. BOWER EVERYTHING! My husband and I started seeing him over a decade ago when our Pitbull had pyometra and every veterinarian in the area, when we called them, said that it was untreatable and she needed to be put to sleep. Dr. Bower was the ONLY vet that gave her any chance and performed a total hysterectomy, giving our baby an additional several years! My husband and I have taken many pets to him. Several cats and a few dogs. Now, my poor epilepsy service dog has a terribly collapsed trachea and if it was not for dr. Bower he would be dead. I owe Dr. Bower EVERYTHING and I cannot recommend him highly enough!

I have had over 30 years of dealing with Vets. I find most of them to tug on your heartstrings and rip you off. Now I meet Dr. Bowers and his Animal Hospital of Stroudsburg and my opinion was changed. His staff is kind, Dr. Bowers calls you and explains things to you and he is not trying to rip you off. Prices are reasonable. They try to fit you in for an appointment. I think this place will make you feel comfortable and you will know your furry friends are in good hands.

If you care about your animals please consider another place. The front office staff always seems to be having a bad day and are terribly rude. You are paying good money for your pet and the staff has an bad attitude. This place is old and run down a bit. I’ve taken my pets here for to long and should have changed vets a year ago. It’s all a money grab here, this place will do random tests to raise you bill. I had an issue with my labby that went on for 9 months with out getting better, tried a friends vet and within 2 weeks saw better results. Please do your research and try another place.

Staff was very accommodating, thorough, and efficient. They were also cost conscience and didn’t recommend unnecessary treatments or medications. My dog was very comfortable there during the whole exam. We’ve gone there twice. Completely satisfied both times.

My dogs first visit went great. This vet is extremely reasonable in price. Facility is organized, clean, and thorough. Had an appointment dog was taken promptly, another plus. Dr. Bower and staff are very nice.

You go here for a while and think it's okay, then they change. They go downhill because it gets too hard for him to figure out what's wrong. He knows simple stuff. I will never take another step in that place and I've warned my friends and neighbors. They act in the beginning if they care for your pet, each time after that the lies start. They are shady. Misdiagnosing is Bower's greatest accomplishment and then your near to death dog has to be taken somewhere else. If you get lucky and leave this place soon enough, you will save your pet. BTW, staff is not so friendly most days, their bad day is pushed on to you. Especially the two in the front.

Dr. Bower was compassionate with our older dog Onyx. Gave us options without pushing for extra services/tests. The staff was also very good with our Onyx. Thank you all for your help. RIP - Onyx

You don't call yourself a hospital when you have to send out for lab tests, blood work, etc.. This is a clinic. Don't let them fool you. They still write paper notes -- no laptop You can't get your notes the same day because they haven't been "written" yet, or shall I say "scribbled". They always make sure you get a copy of the bill -- that they find a way to print. You wait for lab tests because they didn't come back yet because they're sent out -- because they are not a hospital. It's 2019, and they have no email. So you have to pick up notes or remember to call to ask to send, maybe you will get them mailed, or you have to remember again to call. Waste of time. How dinosaur is that? Hospital? Really? Let's say clinic. Get yourself in the 21st century with modern technology and modern meds.

I would give this place MINUS ZERO STARS if I could. They lie. Bower (vet) only cares about how much money you spend there. Will make you come back over and over while your dog is still ill. Front desk are be-atch puppets, say anything just to cover Bower's a**. Dishonest place. Never will come here again. Don't recommend. They lie. Don't hold your breath for notes you gave to wait, they don't mail automatically, make you come back for them. Do nothing for your pet. My dog got better after I made changes. Wasted my time and $$$ going there. They s*ck The staff is rude. Dr. Bower has no bedside manner with your pet. He can't wait to run out of the room when he's done.

WONDERFUL VET! Has the most affordable prices in the entire county. Staff are extremely friendly and the vet is lovely too. Will always take my cats there. Beats Brodheadsville and Creature Comforts by miles

Took my dog here that was in pain due to a unknown injury n was seen. The vet was so so, exam was ok. My dog ate so they had me wait 4 days for a xray then i was told to bring him at by 9 am for sedation and a xray. He was there at 830 am. I called at 1030 for a update and was told they was running late mind you they was completely aware that he has not had his pain meds... 1230 i called again and the phone continued to be busy! I went there to obviously check on my dog since they arent concerned about the phones to learn they take the phone off the hook during their meetings bc they feel a meeting is more important than a animal that is in pain. My dogs hip ended being out of place and he was just left in a cage for this entire time without even being walked or meds. Once i got there i was told...hey sorry!! This place is a horrible place and although it may be a few dollars cheaper its not worth it because your animal is going to pay for it!

Everyone that I sent there loves the care they give the pets they are great would never go anywhere else

A friend needed to have her dogs boarded on short notice. They were very accommodating.

So far so good.used them got the first time doctor was great and dog stay four days came out happy.

I want give a try to that place since is close to my home. Did appointment at 11 monday few days ahead to be sure my cat get check up.Arrived at 11 lady at desk told me i dont have appointment at all .then after try couple possibilities …

I love them they have always been very good they take the time to talk to you explain things so if a person has to wait thats because they are talking to someone about there pet.

Everyone was very nice, and worked well with my dog. The prices are better than most in the area

I recently took my anxiety filled dachshund to see Dr Hasselbach, she was delightful! She treated him very well and made us both feel completely comfortable and at ease. She easily explained his condition to me, and that day was able to give him some medication to help with the anxiety. He is a new dog! This is the best vet that I have been to yet! The staff is warm and welcoming and we will most certainly return.
