Our small dog had her toenails trimmed quickly and without her usual protest. It went so smoothly I thought they were magicians. Well done!

We love Mt Nittany Vet! I have my second dog with them now. The staff treats her like their favorite animal and they always make room to fit us in if something unexpected comes up. Couldn’t recommend them more highly!!

Amazing office with a caring staff. I travel and 1.5 hours to come here!

Dr. Pelensky is wonderful with my cats; she's compassionate and patient. The other two vets could stand to learn "bedside manners" from her. I do feel they're more expensive than other area vets, but choose to use Mt. Nittany as they're in close proximity to my house.

Staff was super knowledgeable and polite. Dr took time to explain everything and followed up afterwards.

My pup has been boarding at Mt Nittany Kennel for several years and has always been exceptionally well-cared for. He returns home happy and relaxed. Thanks to all the dog-lovers at Mt. Nittany!

Just wonderful. When we got our first beagle blackjack they still had the Philipsburg office they took us immediately day after we got him. Dr Sath is incredible with him. We live in clearfield and travel out there. Going today to bring our newest addition Lucy the beagle

We have been going to Nancy for a good 10 years and have had nothing but great results. I can't imagine going anywhere else.

This place really pulled through for us! Incredible service in a time of need. We were just in town from California, visiting family in State College and traveling with our pup. Unfortunately, our dog and my brother-in-law's dog got into a fight outside and our dog being the smaller dog, was roughed up quite a bit. We called all around but every place was booked up. Mt. Nittany was the only place with the time and space to help our little terrier. He had several puncture wounds and was bleeding, and they were able to see us, dress his wounds and give us meds for him, all under 2 hours! They made all the difference on the flight back home and he's recovering quickly at home - thank you all again!

They have super friendly groomers that are great with the animals. You will usually get the same groomer each time you go, which is good for your dog to have familiarity. At least for mine, it is. Reasonably priced, too! See before and after.

Our dog had a terrible grooming experience at another local business. My Nittany Veteranarian took us in the next morning and fixed everything and now my dog looks good as new!

A great vet clinic though they do as most Vets do. They charge the full $55 annual checkup fee each visit and try to get you to return for something every 3 weeks. I make keep them for major events but I'll need to find a place a little less expensive.

Mount Nittany Veterinary Hospital has been the place where I have always believed that my kitties would receive the best in care.

Waiting in my car for 50 min for a scheduled appointment for my dog. Not sure if there is a need for an appointment. Even had to wait for 30 min after my reminder call to the doctor. This is the 2nd time this happens to me. I don’t see any respect to other people’s time from the people in this hospital.

Took my dog in for a bordetella vaccine. Had her in the office for 2 minutes. Was charged for an annual exam as well as the immunization. Have never had to have the annual exam in order to get the immunization while going to their satellite in Philipsburg, which they closed without telling us.

After nearly 30 years of going here since they days of Dr Thomas, this place is no longer caring of our pets. We had an appointment mix up and instead of apologizeing to us they were rude and disrespectful to us and the needs of our pet.

Very nice. They are very caring and knowledgeable. The doctor took the time to make friends with our puooy who is a little afraid of new people.

Took my dog here on a emergency call he had ammonia symptoms.. Charged me 250$ for blood work for my 17 year old dog, the doctor "couldn't read the bloodwork" what bloodwork could have shown I have no idea. ok great so 250$ for a x ray that also showed nothing. Also vet couldn't read the xray. left with steroids and antibiotics for my k9 friend wich I suggested from the beginning. These people are con artists not animal professionals take your pet somewhere else.

The staff really care about your pets here! We have a very nervous cat, and they always do everything they can to make him feel at ease.

The place is horrible. They never answer the phone but slowing finding out the reasons they were one of the only places with openings. We recently moved to PA and my dogs first visit for vaccines was yesterday. Overnight I realized she was having some sort of reaction to the vaccines as she wasn’t walking or eating. I brought her in the next morning and they charged me an emergency fee as well as another exam fee. They confirmed she has a fever and was reacting to the vaccine so I knew I would be paying for the medication. I can get with even the examination fee but an emergency fee is unacceptable. I called from 7am all the way until I arrived at 8:40am to set something up. I even called standing outside the door when I arrived and didn’t get anyone one the phone. Someone saw me and came out to help. I do not recommend going here. If your animals has any issues with treatment they will go above and beyond to charge you. They will discuss rate with you but leave out the hidden overcharges
