Sundance Kennels Southampton, Pennsylvania

We have been using Sundance Kennels for years now and my pups could not be happier when THEY get to go on vacation! Throughout the pandemic, Sundance has been extremely through and safe. The staff is wonderful and the kennel is well kept/clean. Love the personalized report cards of my pups stay and all of the add-on options to make them feel right at home! I don’t need to worry about my 4-legged kiddos while on vacation, because I know they are in good hands! PAWS-down, Sundance is PUP-TASTIC!!

If I can rate it 0 stars ????????. Called multiple times didn’t pick... went walk in (with our 7 month old sweet puppy) today around 12.30pm, a lady came out from building seemed irritated (don’t know what at). We asked if we could tour and discuss boarding rates...at which she started in a very mean tone, that how could we come without appointment and that she would need to have dog vaccination records to even let us tour... seriously?? We went to 3 similar boarding kennels yesterday all at same time...all welcomed us without appointments and talked to us like professionals . She bluntly refused us for boarding our dog by saying that there is a waitlist for the week we need to board. If this is how you behave with potential customers, then how you treat dogs in your facility ??? Very unprofessional...!!

Sundance Kennels took real good care of our 1 year old German Shepherd. They kept us informed of his activities and made him feel at home. Comfortable enough for a bath, which is his least favorite thing. We would definitely book a stay for him again.

Only place I would ever send my dogs.

I just LOVE when Libby returns from her grooming appointment at Sundance. She is so beautiful, clean, happy and soft! And I trust them to care for her while she boards with them. We highly recommend Sundance Kennels, Inc.

Our pup just stayed for only one day at this kennel from 9-5pm. He seemed to have been ok there and his report card on him from Kathy the manager was excellent. The next day he started making a strange huffing sound. I informed the manager Kathy of this just to be proactive in case something was going on at the kennel or with our dog, thinking she would want to be made aware of it. We told her we made an apt with our Vet just for him to be checked out to be on the safe side. Since he was going to be there again in two days. Instead, of her being appreciative, she told us not to come back. I was so shocked by her behavior for no reason. When I asked her why? She said because I can. She is extremely defensive, abrasive and overly sensitive when you ask questions. If there is nothing to hide why act this way? I don't see this kennel being around that much longer if she treats her customers this way. I have to agree with the previous google user that gave this kennel only one star. Wish I would have read that previous review before we went there.

They take great care of my 2 dogs. Even my German Shepherd that is kinda scared loves going there. They get excited to go to Sundance and come home happy and tired from their stay. Definitely they best kennel.

We’ve been taking our pups to Sundance for a few years now and we would never take them any place else! They are experts on dogs and REALLY care about your pets! Their groomer is really good and won Courier Times Best of Bucks 2019. Sundance themselves have won Best of Bucks for the last couple years, and it’s well deserved!

Sundance Kennels was a life saver! The staff is incredibly kind and patient. Our pup loved his stay! We will absolutely recommend them for any services! It’s such a relief to know our boy is in good hands when we travel! Thank you so much to the staff at Sundance Kennels!!

I have been using Sundance for the four years and I am beyond thrilled with the way the take care of my pup. My doggie girl does not like to be handled with just anyone but she is so comfortable with the staff at Sundance! We also utilize the grooming service almost every stay and Julie does an awesome job. Wonderful little kennel! I took my dog there for the first time a few weeks ago and he's normally very nervous around new surroundings and people. However, the second one of the wonderful ladies put the lead on him, he was excited and wanted to explore! Prices are reasonable and their policies are strict but understandable. I definitely am going to be using them in the future.

THE ZAPPANS My family has used their kennel services for over 30 years with all of our pets , Maggie,Tipper ,Ronald and now my white Shepard TITAN. THe family that owns this establishment are of the most professional and efficient in the business. They really do care about the conditions and accommodations that they provide to the pets that are boarded here. They are true animal lovers which is most important when choosing where your going to board you pet when you need to. All of my pets that have been here , have never had any trauma or odor when we picked them up after their stay, even for a week or more. I would NOT board my pets or families pets anywhere but HERE. Recently, I had brought my 85 pound white Shepard in for his GROOMING. If you have a Shepard you know how they are and their way of thinking. He is 3 years old , loves people , but does not like spraying water , either from the shower or the outside hose. We have had him as a pup , so there was not any trauma with water that had caused this. We have tried to bath him on many occasions, he was so stressed it was like he was trying to climb walls and get away, so the stress that it caused him seemed worse than him not getting a bath. He had this in his head and that was that. I had stopped over and had spoken with one of the owners , which do live on site, who was very knowledgable about the process and had let me know that there was an opening in two days in which she could schedule us as long as his vaccinations were up to date and bortadella (kennel cough) was current at 6 months out. He was current so I had scheduled an appointment immediately. I brought him in on Wednesday bright and early at 9:00am. I advised the manager of my concerns with the bath, and she had said that if he was to stressed that they wouldn't do it ,even the bath and they wouldn't do anything that he wasn't comfortable with. This was very Important to me as I didn't want him to be stressed or have a problem. They took him back and he seemed eager to go. I was told to call at noon and they would tell me what time he would be ready for pick up. I was wondering how he would do... Well I called at 12 and I was told he would be ready to be picked up by 2:00 , and I asked how did it go. The gentleman that works there , who is a really nice guy and definitely an animal lover, he has a Shepard too, told me Titan was done and they could do everything even his nails. I was pleasantly surprised that it went well with Titan , but I knew that if sundance couldn't do it then nobody can. When I picked him up, he looked great, beautiful actually and seemed happy he even followed the assistant back to where he was going. As you can understand by this review they are the best in the business and highly recommend SUNDANCE. I WILL definitely bring him back.

Really great staff who always remembers your dogs.

Can't say enough positive things about Sundance Kennels. We dropped our dog off over the holidays for a 5 day stay and grooming. The staff was super friendly and accommodating to our requests. They allowed us to bring in all of our dog's favorite toys, bedding, etc. I felt that they truly love animals and felt comfortable leaving my pet. He was super happy when we picked him up and looked like a million bucks after his grooming. We'll definitely be using the kennel again! Thanks!

We have been taking our dogs here for years for both boarding and grooming. Wonderful staff. Very pleasant experience, and if our dogs could talk, they'd say the same!

Being new to the state, it was difficult to find a good place to board my two bull-terrier pups. After good research and reading reviews, my husband and I checked out Sundance Kennels. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the staff and given a tour of the premises, services and options for boarding. After checking out two other boarding places in person, we decided to board out pups here three months later. Sundance Kennels is a great place to bring your pets! The kennel has long runs (inside and extends outside) that keep your pets safe and warm. The grounds and facility are well-lit and very clean. The staff is kind and show compassion towards your pet and whole family. The staff also has many years of experience and demonstrates great knowledge for what they do. For my pups 5 night stay, we were able to bring all their toys, blankets and bowls to play with. We also chose the option to receive emails and pictures of each pet every day that were always great to see! Sundance Kennels is a great facility and is HIGHLY recommended!

I have been taking my poodle, Sebastian, to Sundance Kennels for grooming for the last 3 + years. It is an outstanding facility. I am so fortunate to have found them and would highly recommend them. It is very well managed, extremely clean and always a consistent, and very positive experience. The groomer, Jackie, does an excellent job, and Sebastian gets many complements on his cut. All staff members appear to be very well trained, and are friendly and highly professional. I feel very confident in leaving my dog with them, I know he is well cared for there. I have seen my dog interact with all of the staff members, including his groomer, and it is very clear to me that he likes them and is treated well while in their care. I have not had to board my dog, but I would not hesitate for a minute to leave him in their care if needed. Well Done Sundance!
