Been going here for many years and have never been disappointed. Vets are caring and very knowledgeable. Every one is friendly and helpful. Chris , the kennel tech is super with the dogs. An excellent pet clinic.

They're amazing here. Patient, compassionate, and flexible. They don't pressure you into anything and make you feel heard when it comes to your pet and their needs. They're also reasonable and will try easy solutions before jumping to costly extremes. We will stay with this practice as long as they continue to be a great family vet!

Every time I call no matter what they fit us in or do their best to schedule us without making it an emergency visit. All the staff from the doctors, the techs to the receptionist all truly care re not only about us as the animal parent but truly care about the patient. My to personally run to the door when they know we’re at the vet and can’t wait to jump up and say hello to the receptionist while waiting to get weighed. It’s just such a nice office and knowing my puppies are being taken care of means the world.

This is the best veterinarians hospital around. They are caring, take their time with you answer all your questions and are very understanding when you lose a pet. I had to put my Casey to sleep and the room was so nice, they let us take our time with her her and even sent us a sympathy card. Family Pet Clinic is the BEST!!

Good place but the prices are RIDICULOUS!!!!! They charge 25$ for nails to be cut. This place used to be alot better before it became corporate. They should be ashamed of themself for how expensive the prices are for their services. It’s disgusting. Take your pets to petco or petsmart and you’ll get charged half the price for nail clippings.

Incredibly kind and knowledgeable staff. Clean facility. I’m from out of state so this is not my regular vet, but I had to bring my dog in on short notice to get stitches. I was very impressed with how well they took care of us. If I lived in the area I would absolutely continue to come here.

First visit (new facility for my pup) went pretty well, staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and were able to provide me with the tools I need to keep my pet happy and healthy. I felt really good after leaving, knowing I had a local practice that genuinely cared about my pet. I had read some of the other reviews about cost, yes it was a bit expensive. But in this line of work I’d personally rather pay more to leave my pets care with a team who clearly knows what they are doing. No complaints on my end, keep up the awesome work.

Doctors and staff are great but there’s definitely “sticker shock” for pricing. They should have things posted at the front desk or tell the client before hand. I paid $160 for a sick checkup bc my cat had an infected cyst and needed meds.(whatever, she was sick and needed it) but I Follow up 2 weeks later, I was told to come back for a rabies shot, didn’t know it included a checkup as well, had to pay $85 for the shot and a 10 min checkup. Guess I’m not putting that in savings this week :(

Dr. Painter is the Veterinarian for our furry baby. Her skills are sharp. She’s thorough when doing a physical assessment. She caught something that 2 other Vets disagreed on. She was confident in her evaluation, but also utilized testing for confirmation, which was inexpensive. She takes the time to do teaching and answer questions. She is easy to reach if needed. Her staff updates medical history/concerns prior to seeing the doctor. They are upfront about charges, and try to package needed blood work to keep costs reasonable. They are trained in keeping the stress levels of pets low. I appreciate the care taken by each of the Vet assistants. We moved to the area 1 1/2 years ago. Changing your doctor can be unsettling in a new area. Their website gave us great interest. Calling them increased our confidence. After the 3 visits that we have had, we are convinced! Family Pet Clinic is full of well trained, compassionate, pet lovers, and highly skilled Vets. We actually want to keep them to ourselves! ????

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. My dog Oreo was only a patient of theirs for a short time however they were always very responsive with any and all services I received from them. Oreo recently passed away very quickly and they called us directly and sent us a card. Every vet ( and staff) should care about their patient's as much as they do. If I do get another dog, I will be happy to come back to this office.

I took my GSD to Family Pet Clinic in Southampton to have surgery to remove a tumor. We arrived at the shortly before 8. Dr. Maser was pulling in around the same time. She said hi to Bella and said I'll be right out to get her..... what? who does that? Sure enough she was back in 2 minutes to take Bella for her surgery. Dr. Maser made us feel so comfortable about B's procedure. She said go grab breakfast and by the time you get done, Bella will be ready. Sure enough 5 minutes after chow, Dr Maser called and said Bella did awesome!!!!!! Now Bella does not like people at all! Dr. Maser said come in and I'll bring her to you.. hmm I said to myself? Bella goes to no vet without muzzle! So out of the corner of my eye I see Bella trotting down the hall with Dr. Maser with NOOOOOO muzzle..... WHAT! Apparently Bella loves Dr. Maser, and so do we. This is our new home. And A quick shout out to Miriam at the front desk who handled check out afficiently. This place is awesome ???? thanks again Family Pet Clinic team. Rob and Cheryl

I take my Siamese cat to family per clinic and can say nothing but good things about the practice. Even during covid everything was smooth and coordinated. The manager, Christine also goes above and beyond her managerial duties. Would recomend to anyone!

I used to like family pet clinic. Myself and my family have been bringing our dogs without issue for 15+ years. However, I do NOT recommend this place if you have a high anxiety dog especially if the dog is a pit bull mix. We have been there multiple occasions and each time is progressively worse. All of this started about a year ago. The first time our dog was very scared. They turned us away with medication and a new appointment. That’s fine, we medicate her and bring her back & she gets put in a muzzle and one of us was allowed in, even though we could not due to Covid. My partner complained about how heartless they were during the whole exam and we left upset. Benefit of the doubt, we return because our dog is not letting us clean her ears or give her the medication needed to help clear the infection. Again, we were allowed in but we had a less than pleasant experience again. Fast forward to a few weeks ago, I called to make an appointment for yet another ear infection. I give her the anxiety meds and bring her in. We were about 5 minutes late due to traffic, we had to wait. The reason? They were putting a dog to sleep. They tell me this as I’m watching the owners carry the dog inside. This is the second time this has happened to me. That is sad & a different issue however, I asked if I could come in and was told no due to covid restrictions, mind you, we have come in with her during covid. They come to get her, I muzzle her and she refuses to go with them. I have to walk to the door and the whole time she is pulling to get away. She was in there not even 5 minutes and here she comes back out and completely panicked . She was so scared she pooped and peed all over the place. They explain to me that we should medicate her and try and clean her ears ourselves. Handed me paperwork to get a trainer and bring her back after. So, her ear infection is worsening and we have to basically hold her down to clean her ears. Now she is fearful of the people she lives with. A trainer cannot fix her behavior overnight, so refusing to treat a sick client is unacceptable. I understand the safety aspect of it all but we are not professionals and what we are doing could cause more harm then good. She was also muzzled. After all of this happening, we didn’t even get a call to check in. This vet will not cater to high anxiety dogs, and gives little to no advice or guidance. Just a list of resources for trainers and a pat on the back for good luck. I spoke with some other members in the community who had similar experiences with their high anxiety pets.

We absolutely love this vet. They are wonderful with our puppy and go above and beyond. They are never annoyed when you call and happily answer all your questions. We used to take our previous dog here and she was always loved and cared for as if she was theirs. We travel about 15-20 minutes to them even though there are local vets near us. We haven't been satisfied with anyone other than FPC. I highly recommend them!!!
