Dr Dorton and his staff are amazing and kind I would not go anywhere else it's so hard to find a vet that is professional and caring.

Cannot ask for a better vet and practice. These kind, thoughtful, and competent people have been taking such great care of our dog that she literally has excellent quality of life now...and I really did not think she was going to make it. The staff are caring and fun, and Dr. Dorton is thorough and thoughtful...he takes the time to explain everything. So glad I found them.

Nice vet and reasonable prices, however, in the years I've been with him he's never been able to see my dog when they are sick which is kind of the point of the vet. You need to wait over a month or more for a sick visit (if they will even schedule it). The last time I called when my dog was limping I was told sorry we aren't making sick visits at this time, only routine. And to call another vet or if its an emergency contact the animal hospital by Clarks Summit. If your pet is sick and needs an xray or blood work within the next week they pretty much tell you to go somewhere else which defeats the purpose of having a vet.

I've been taking my pets to Scranton Animal Hospital for 30 years, you will not find a better Doctor ...

A true superstar team of animal care experts! They provided the best care for our boy, Charlie, until he passed in 2019; always treated him like one of their own. We eventually adopted a senior dog after Charlie passed, but it was just too emotionally painful to return to Scranton Animal Hospital. Over a period of multiple visits with the new vet we realized our dog wasn't receiving the ethical and quality care that he should, and we have since made our way back to Scranton Animal Hospital. It was tough to walk through the doors for the first time since Charlie's visits, however we knew it was important to return to a veterinary practice that could be relied upon for top-notch care. All at Scranton Animal Hospital kindly tolerated my emotional shenanigans upon my return with the new boy, Arlen. It was a visit that made me feel as though I had never left. Kind souls, they are!!

Everyone is so nice and helpful! Facility is clean and overall great experience!! Everyone was great with my dog. We got clear diagnosis and recommendations, and definitely will recommend to friends & family!

Didnt make it in they made is waiting out in the heat for like 40 minutes when the dogs appointments were at 2:00& 2:15 called 5 minutes after we left

We have not gotten a bad experience from this place. Our dogs and cat like the staff here, which always helps, and the staff is very nice. Always answers any questions we have. I love how theDr calls on the phone and explains anything he finds or answers any questions. Wouldn’t go anywhere else with my babies!!!!

I bought a puppy from a pet store.only to find her sick miss treated the staff was wonderfully doctor is the best he took the time to discuss a good treatment plan my lady is in good shape now they all saved her top notch facility

I went to this place for my first time. And I waited 1 hr and 45min from 2:45pm to 4:30pm without been since and even saw people that got there after me going in, when I decided to leave she just said is been a crazy day you can reschedule. No happy with this place. Will call the bank to get my $55 deposit back. Which is ridiculous that I have to make a deposit for an appointment.

I've been taking my furbabies there for over 25 years!! Staff is very professional and courteous. Dr Dorton is a great Veterinarian and very knowledgeable and thorough!! Great team of employees and would recommend anyone to take their pet to Scranton Animal Hospital if they are searching for a Vet who loves furbabies and is dedicated and takes pride in his work. I've had dogs and cats over the 25 years and was always satisfied with the care my furbabies received at S.A.H. Two thumbs up!!!
