Let's just say the customer (patient) service is exceptional. The professional attentative display of care stand strong. This staff (Sonja, Beth, Anna-Mae, Erin, and other staff) have brought a practice of pet care to new levels of customer satifaction. Dr. Brennan is exceptional and the explainations, instructions, directions, follow-up make the visits very positive on all levels. You have a business to be proud of. Keep up the work ethic that this independent business strives for and be proud of the work that you do each day. I look forward to moving back to inpatient visits without restrictions, and working with staff for the best care of all pets. Thanks to all of you!

I am so pleased with my visit to Lake Road Animal Hospital! Everything was clearly & kindly communicated from the cost, what was observed, needed, etc. My kitten was handled with the utmost care from start to finish! I was also given a kitten care package which is so sweet. Thank you Dr. Hughes & all the staff at Lake Road Animal Hospital! I highly recommend them.

They tried to tell me my healthy dog was dying. It was awful. I took my dog to a real veterinarian COLONIAL in Ithaca and found out my dog was NOT dying but needed her knee fixed. She lived another 8 years. When I called Lake Rd they blew me off and could have cared less. Good vet NO WAY.

They listened to what I had to say, paid attention to my questions and answered each one. They didn't just come in and leave. I go back for a follow-up for son's dog and can't wait to see what the next step might have to be for the dog's allergies will be.

Everything from scheduling to curb side care to talking to the Doctor about my kitty’s visit was easy-peasy! Everybody is extremely kind and caring at Lake Road Animal Hospital. We have had wonderful experiences with both of our cats here. I will never see another vet’s office!!

Very COVID careful. And pet caring.

The upmost care ,and compassion for my cat Meku . Treated him and spike to me as if we have been there for years.. i cant say enough to praise them and thank them for taking him on !

Lake Road Animal Hospital is a very competent veternary service. My 3 dogs have been under their care for 4 yrs. They specialize in preventative care to minimize illnesses and extend my pet's comfort and life.

Very good service and vets answer questions without making you feel inept as a fur parent.

We took our Dog(son)here when we went to Canada. We ended up getting a call a couple days later telling us that he died. I wouldn't ever take my animals here again and neither should you. They expect 5 stars for 1 star service!

No one seams to know what’s going on! One person tells me one thing and the other tells me something totally different! You get an email saying pay this, but nothing telling me what I’m paying for? I called and was told that the blood work for the one dog will be due when she comes in for treatment and that the bill was just for the other dogs shot! I payed the bill then got a receipt and I did pay for the blood work! Then the treatment was having her teeth cleaned and some pulled, that’s what the Dr said and the quote! When I made the appointment they said no pulling, then they said yes they are pulling some teeth, then they call to confirm and say no there not pulling any teeth! I asked to speak with the manager and she was VERY rude and wouldn’t even let me talk and hung up on me! Tried calling back several times and they would just hang up on me! Finally she answered and let me talk, she didn’t care she was still VERY rude and told me to find a new veterinarian! I was totally calm and nice, just trying to explain what I was told! She didn’t wanna hear it! VERY VERY VERY POOR customer service skills! Would not recommend this Vet to anyone who actually cares about there animals! I’m VERY disappointed in how I was treated while the manager tried to blame it all on me!…. I was very calm with the nurse the other day! She didn’t know what was going on and had no clue what to say, must be new cause she had to keep asking other people for information! The manager never gave me her name or apologized for the miss understanding! Poor customer service skills and VERY rude! I was listening because the manager wouldn’t let me talk! This is ridiculous, no manager of any kind should talk to customers the way she did to me! That’s when I got mad and finally went off on her! I’m sorry for the mean things I said to her but she deserved it after the way they treated me!…

Super overcharged for a simple visit. Couldn't go in due to Covid. Sat in parking lot and order to pay thru a message. Simple 150$ visit..turned into 325$ charge. On most things I took care of back at home. Will not being going back!

I've never had a bad experience based on the the few times I've gone. The staff is always nice full of compassion.

They are expensive but the care is excellent. Worth every penny.

The staff was so compassionate and caring when we had to say goodbye to our sweet baby girl Mazie. We were given as much time as we needed to say goodbye to her. We felt extremely blessed to be able to be with her. Dr Brennan gave Mazie wonderful care and we thank him and all of his staff.

We love the compassion and care our pets get at Lake Road. The vets are all very knowledgeable and kind.

Dr. Brennan and his staff are tremendous gifts to our pets. Heartfelt service that in my opinion goes unmatched in the veterinarian arena here in the Finger Lakes. We are Border Collie owners that needed special care of our boy Dash. Loved the personalization of their service. Thank you all.

Dr. Kathy Hughes was thorough, kind, patient and provided detailed, expert input and recommendations to help my dog. Two thumbs up & a 'High 5' from our 4-legged friend for the service and expertise provided. Moderately priced, too! (lots of bang for the buck)

I went there for the first time last month and the staff was amazing. They were so nice even when one of my cats was being a little mean to the vet. Will recommend this vet to anybody looking for a vet, you guys are the best and me and the kittys will see u soon????????????

I have taken my cats Tiger and Chloe here for I think a little over a year now. I had had some money issues, and they never hounded me about extras I could get, but didn't need for my kitties. I can literally call whenever for the most random questions, and they always give me a prompt answer and explain procedures, exams, and findings in a way I understand. My cats don't love the vet, but I feel so much better knowing they're in the hands of people who care, and are willing to put my cats feelings/needs above money. I will continue to come here even though it's 45 minutes away, as they have my kitties best interests at heart and are always so sweet.

I just moved within a few hours of this clinic. My dog needed follow up x-rays after a procedure in another state. I called at least 10 clinics trying to get an appointment before I found this one. The staff at Lake Road Animal Hospital went above and beyond for us. We got an appointment within a few days, everyone at the office was great and my dog got what I feel to be exceptional care.

Recently my 1 year old dog accidentally consumed medication that was knocked off our counter by our much larger dog. This ingestion became toxic to her very quickly. My dog was instantly taken to Lake Road Animal Hospital to be examined by Dr. Brennan. She was taking a drastic turn and was failing quickly with Acute Renal Failure. Dr. Brennan and his team admitted my dog and began very aggressive treatments with their expert skill, medical knowledge and compassion. They provided me wonderful support during this devastating time. The frequent phone calls, texts of her progress was very much appreciated. Dr. Brennan and his team saved my dogs life and I will always be so grateful for them.. I highly recommend Dr. Brennan and Lake Road Animal Hospital.
