They were the only vet in the area willing to take on a new client without a huge wait. My son brought in a very sick kitten he found on our property that no other vets would see for weeks, if at all. The entire staff was knowledgeable, kind, and treat the owners as nicely as they do your cat. Great service, reasonable prices. We will be using them for all of our feline needs from here on out. No doubt this kitten is alive because of their treatment... thanks so much!

I began taking all 3 of my cats to this vet about 9 months ago. Due to health issues with all of my senior cats I have been there numerous times. I am extremely pleased with the staff and care of my babies. Would definitely recommend!! Thank you for all you do!!

Really don't appreciate being told to drop off my cat for an evaluation at 8 am and my cat just sits there for 4 hours without being examined. They make the excuses that others have stopped by with emergencies. If you already committed to evaluating a cat, then do your job and evaluate the animal. Since i cannot respond to your response, ill do it here. You are correct that you failed to provide the medicine I paid for when we picked up the cat. I was told to drop off the cat because it was understood there would be an opportunity for your veterinarian to examine her. You are still hiding behind the excuse of other "emergencies" but what I do know is that not only did she wait a long time to be seen, you forgot her medicine that i paid for and now have issued a rude response.

I just called the clinic looking for somewhere to bring my new kitten. I saw great reviews on this page and it was close to me I was very excited, as I proceeded to call the clinic and some lady told me to hold, totally okay! It’s early I’m sure there so busy. The phone hung up, no big deal, gave a ring back. I heard nothing but some noises and I said hello?, the lady proceeded to cop the biggest attitude with me as I asked her if I had the right number. I hung right up. So rude. Very disappointed. My kitten has never had vet care before and I had some questions.

I was more of a wreck than my Louie. The Doctor and her assistant were able to treat Louie. They were gentle and showed me and Louie such compassion. I felt more at ease and knew this was a good place to treat Louie. They did verify he did have teeth problems and I feel at ease bringing him back for his teeth.

I take both of my cats there and they have been great with them. They are good about reminders for appointments and fitting you in when needed.

We have been working with For Cats Only Veterinary Clinic for over 8 months now. Dr. Ziegler and all of her staff members go above and beyond for every single one of the animals they treat and never fail to provide them with outstanding care. We have gotten to know the staff quite well, and wouldn’t trust anyone more with our animals vet care. We have seen some of our adopters continue their kittens care at this facility. After following up with them, they also love this clinic. We can’t thank Dr. Ziegler, Mark, Amber, Alicea, Emeleigh, Judy, Mallory, & SueEllen enough for the excellent care & knowledge they provide us & our kitties. Couldn’t recommend this clinic more!

Practice seemed promising at first but, ultimately, fell short. Cannot recommend.

Beware of their "RELEASE FORM". (If you read some of the other negative reviews you will find we have the same complaint, UNNECESSARY PROCEDURES.) I Trusted them! I feel violated. I did not have an appointment. I dropped off my cat for constipation and what I believed the same standard procedure they did before. I was given a relesse for I was understanding I had to sign since I could not be there for his exam. I assumed just like the form says they will only test and do procedures related to the medical issue I brought my cat in for, however they took advantage of the signed release form and did extra procedures and unrelated tests sighting: "YOU signed the release form." They called me twice. That night to inform me they gave him fluids to if that would make him go to the bathroom; standard they did that before and that they needed to keep him over night. They NEVER told my they wanted to do ANYTHING ELES! The next morning I came to pick him up. They showed me to the register. I was shocked that the standard $200.00 procedures jumped to $934.00! They never showed me the exrays or test results. They never explained why they decided to do different procedures then what they have done before other then to sight that I signed the release form. I called and complained about their treatment of me and my cat. The office manager told me: "You didn't care what we did to your cat until you found out we did blood tests." This cut me to the core! I don't care about my cat and his treatment? My perfectly healthy cats vet bill cost $934.00 when he was there for a non-surgical procedure. I complain why didn't you tell me what procedures you were going to do to him? "You signed the release form; if you wanted to know what we wanted to do to him you should have hand written that in the side margins of the release form. WHAT?!!! WHY WASN"T THAT LISTED ON THE FORM? WHY INTENTIONALLY KEEP ME IN THE DARK AND CLAIM I DIDN'T CARE? I was not yelling but I was asking pointant questions about their rationalization for there billing. The office manager started to yelling at me and then he hung up on me! I don't know how much people in general know about psychology, however, when people become very defensive when they are put on the spot to answer fair questions to their motives it means they have something to hide. Please documents for proof. ...as for the response to my original posting. I NEVER ONCE spoke to the "doctor" when all of this transpired and I was never informed by via phone about the extra tests. That is the point of my complaint and review. When I complaint about NOT being informed tat all of this it was pointed out: "you signed a release form" and Mark Post, Practice Manager said to me: "you didn't even care until you saw the blood test on the bill" I care. Then he hung up on me. He was the one doing the yelling I raised my voice so I could get a word in. I called back again before making this post to deal with the issue. Mark Post told the person that answered the phone: "Tell her I don't have anything else to say to her." My monthly net income is $ 1,830.40 with a car payment and mortgage. The veterinarian bill is $ 936.00. If I would have been as told like they claim I was there is no way on Earth I would be able to allow those charged to be run up. Besides what are they complaining about? They were paid in full but my mortgage did not get paid and I had to borrow money to pay my car insurance quarterly. And let's be honest, if the clinic told me about the all of the procedures and bill being run up high, do you really think I would not have put a stop to it? So here is the challenge. Call around to the other veterinarians in the area and do a price comparison. You will be shocked at the difference in price.

Staff was ok, unfortunately my kitten passed away after coming out of anesthesia, I accepted that. I had him cremated and patiently waited for the phone call to pick his ashes up, which I never received. When I called them to see if his ashes were in (3 weeks later), they tell me, " yes he's here tucked away on a shelf in the cabinet. No phone call or nothing that his ashes were to be picked up.

A fantastic veterinarian. Caring and gets to the heart of the problem. We have a cat that has some digestive problems that other vets could not diagnose. She listen to us and figured it out and got our cat back to health. Great job.

It is for cats only. My cat gets very nervous around strange animals but she does better here.

I would never use For Cats Only Veterinary Clinic again. I took my cat there with a really bad nasal condition as a second opinion after moving to a new home and needing a new veterinarian closer to home (he had nasal discharge and then a huge bloody lump in his nose appeared, other vet said polyps)/ For Cats Only charged me over $800 (when they quoted me originally when I signed the agreement for surgery about $500 - so they deceived me already to get more money "in the middle of surgery" for "more scans") all to find out that the surgery wouldn't have helped and was not necessary to get a culture on the lesion from multiple other vets that I called. They also told me nothing when I picked him up from surgery (no discharge instructions, no doctor to answer my questions, no information on what the doctor did in the surgery, no knowledge of anything that happened with my cat at all that day). I ended up taking him to Quakertown Veterinary Clinic for a second opinion, on a weekend, for an emergency visit when he started bleeding out and they were great. The doctor confirmed it was cancer (didn't guess or give me maybes), told me my real options, and prescribed him to long-term antibiotics and steroids to ease his cancer symptoms. I wish I had went there first! Very disappointed with the suggestion of surgery being needed when it was indeed NOT needed.

I have been coming to this clinic for 6 years. The office is clean. The staff is friendly and very welcoming. Dr. Ziegler is wonderful to work with. She knows me and my cat. She listens to all of my questions and concerns. Earlier this year my cat became very ill; he was diagnosed with a chronic disease that will require life long medication. She works with me to ensure of medication dosage is correct and he is not being over medicated. I feel safe knowing he is in caring hands every time we go for a checkup. I have recommended this facility to friends and family.

I took my cat to For Cats Only because he was not eating much. The vet did blood work and a ultrasound and found nothing. After five days they called me and said he can be picked up. That's when they slapped me with a bill for over $1250!! That's right $1250 for an ultrasound and bloodwork and basically hoteling my cat when he did not need to be there for five days!!! They could have done bloodwork and a ultrasound in one day and sent him home and saved me $1000 but that would not make them the money that they want to make. This is called I'm going to hold your pet hostage until you pay an outrageous over inflated bill! The professional thing to do would have been to give me an idea of what this was going to cost in advance so I could have pulled my cat out of there before I got stuck up for $1250. For Cats Only is a RIP OFF!!!!!!!! Do yourself a favor and take your cat to a Vet who is honest not a Vet who does basically nothing and charges you an astronomical bill!!!
