I received the most plain urn from here on 10/9/21. I had five pets cremated in the past and received beautiful wooden urns with names attached to it. This was a wooden oak box, no name attached that looks like it was purchased from the Dollar Store. It was a discontinued urn on the website for $45. When I called Abbey Glen directly to inquire about exchanging it for an urn of same value I was told that it was not allowed and I would need to pay $45 which I am not doing. I hope management decides to take a look at the quality of urns being sent to grieving families.

There was a time I'd have given 5 stars and an amazing review. However things have drastically changed over the past few months. The clinic I work at has been doing business with Abbey Glen for a few years with no issues until recently. There have been numerous mistakes made since May but this past week was the most unforgivable one yet when they mixed up a 70lb dog with an 11 lb dog, the bigger one was for group cremation and the smaller one was private. We cannot even begin to understand how this mistake was made given the size difference of the 2 dogs. There is absolutely no way to fix this. You can offer all the apologies and refunds you want but it can never fix this mistake. There is absolutely NO room for errors in that line of business. Whoever owns this crematorium should honestly replace every single person who had a hand in this....from the driver mixing up the tags to the person doing the cremations to the person managing it all. Everyone at this location played a part in this and I do wonder if they ever had to say goodbye to their beloved pet and go through this. I hope no one ever has to face this kind of heartache because there are no words.

My precious kamber passed away October 2020 from cancer and I decided on cremation. I believe Abbey Glen did an amazing job. The container I received with her ashes was absolutely gorgeous. I appreciate the attention to detail on the card I received with the package. Thank you. ❤

Beware of this place. The people are disrespectful, rude and generally don't care about your loved one. If you love your pet go somewhere else.

I took my pet to Blandon veterinarian trusting them to pick a good cremation place.. well they didn't. This place picked up my dog July 9th and I was told he was coming back the 16th. The vet never called me to tell me he ain't coming back to the 23rd. So I called Abby Glenn's place on the 19th and told them I'm picking my dog up I don't care what state he's in they told me I'm not allowed. I told them I'm coming her name was Sam. Sam told me he wasn't pretty much touched yet so he wasn't cremated. Then all the sudden another lady start talking I guess that was the manager who was very rude. How can my dog not be done for almost 19 days it would have been till I got him back. So before leaving I made a police report with Quakertown Police. They told me if it's any problems to call him while we were I was there. When I got there all of a sudden my little bears ashes appeared how is that in a 45 minute drive. Also before I left I called David heitzelman funeral home who I set up to drop off my little bear to be cremated because I was supposedly picking up my Frozen dog. The funeral home told me how inhumane cruel and abusive this whole ordeal was. Their excuse was pretty much to my vet that they are short staffed. How would they feel if this was there kids mother or father. And had to hear this I know for a fact these ashes aren't my dogs. I'm not letting this go I want everybody to know. Even the police officer said this is a civil suit I'm taking it to the second step this should have never happened. And Sam lied right in front of my face about what she said and of course they don't have recorders on the phone. I recorded the whole conversation with the manager and Sam blaming my veterinarian. But they're both to blame. Stay away from this place they are so disrespectful for animals uncaring I could go on with much worse words. It's so sad I will never have my little bear back in my life.

We had to put 2 of our dogs down within 11 days and our Vet uses Abby Glen cremation in Quakertown, Pa. Little did we know the lady that answered the phone cares nothing about a pet you just lost. She was rude and down right nasty. I was very upset about losing our dogs and the cremation place when we talked about the box they call beautiful was so disturbing to me, I called Valley Central to find out where they take pets for cremation. I was grateful to get a phone number to call. The place was called Cloud Nine Pet Services. I spoke to the owner Kevin and he heard in my voice how upset I was about the resting urn my beloved pet was put in. He was so compassionate and made me a beautiful urn for my dig to lay in peace. Below you will see 2 cremation urns. The first picture was from Cloud Nine Pet Services and the second was with Abby Glen. Which would you choose to have your pet laid to rest in peace in. I would never recommend Abby Glen to anyone. The person at Cloud Nine shows caring and compassion for your loss.

My friend's childhood dog died and Abbey Glen did not provide the proper service to this grieving family. Her family ordered a paw print and never received it. Now they are even more distraught. This pure negligence is a disgrace and this place should be avoided at all costs. If you value your dog don't take them here.

Stay away from the Quakertown location if you love your family member (pet), as much as we did. I would not believe the positive reviews knowing what happened to us, I would now focus on the negative ones! We were supposed to get ink paw prints and that NEVER happened. The right and left clay paw prints we got look identical. They looks nothing like her authentic molded print taken at the hospital the night she passed away. I asked if the ashes they gave us were truly her ashes and the manager said "Of Course they are." What do you think she would say, No, they are some other dog's ashes we screwed up? My gut told me she was not being honest. They have no idea what's going on there. Your loved one checks in and who knows what truly happens after that. Unless you have eyes on your loved one from entry to exit, I would not trust these people. I should have buried her in our back yard, at least I would know for sure where her remains are. Their way of handling devastating mistakes is to reimburse you. They can stick that money, no money can fix such a devastating error as this. We thought everything was going to be fine because we called and spoke directly to them before they even picked our girl up from the vet. We spoke to them SEVERAL times while she was waiting to be processed, they were WELL aware of our wishes. I had to leave this review after reading a few other negatives that sounded just like our terrible devastating experience. May God Bless our girl she deserved much much better than Abbey Glenn! HOW DO SCREW THIS UP?? THIS IS YOUR ONLY BUSINESS AND YOU CAN"T EVEN DO THAT RIGHT!! Stay far away, once they screw up there is no turning back. We are still very troubled by this several months later and will be for years to come.

Beyond devastated. We paid for a private cremation of our beloved dog, Lucy. The certificate in the box, when we picked it up, said it was another family's dog. Abbey Glen blamed the vet and offered to print another certificate. How will I ever know if we brought our Lucy home? I suggested they had a process problem, they said this doesn't happen often....that says we're not the only family that has had to deal with this. This seemly minor error is devastating. There will forever be a question when I look at that box. They don't seem to get that.

They did a wonderful job making sure that our beloved, Prometheus's ashes were separate for our oldest child who lives out of state for school. They also gave us a beautiful paw print, and they did not clean our dog's paw, which honestly, is such a representation of him and his love for the outdoors! Thank you for that small detail.

WOW where do i start....my vet sent my beloved cat to be cremated and she was received back in a beautiful cherry box with a gold plate with her name engraved on it as well as a beautiful card with a beautiful saying. I ordered an urn but sent it right back once i saw how she came back to me. I will definitely use Abbey Glen in the future. Thank you so much for making my still broken heart feel a little bit better. Knowing I will see her again one day one the other side of the rainbow bridge ????

Disgraceful job. High don’t recommend. This is the first time I’ve ever left a review for any company online. The issue is so deer to the heart. We did not receive what we ordered and our forever remembrance of loved pet can not be undone. We called to verify that ink paw prints would be taken and paid to include an additional. INSTEAD we received 3 clay molds. On top of that, we paid for ONE framed clay mold. This company should be in the field of perfecting their job. The irresponsible person who did the crematory for our pet should be fired.

My 16 year old dog Rylee was sent to Abbey Glen for cremation after his death last week. I called and ordered a paw print remembrance - the male I spoke with on 9/17/2020 described the paw print as coming in a case with a place to insert my pet's photo - same as what was pictured in their brochure. What I received today (for almost twice the price in the brochure) was a paw print in a VERY CHEAP thin cardboard-type material case, nowhere for a photo, etc. I called Abbey Glen and spoke to the same male whom I spoke to last week. He said there's nothing that can be done - I asked why he had described the case with photo, etc. & he had no explanation. Upsetting bait & switch!

I just want to thank the staff at Abbey Glen for taking care of our girl. Our dog Charlotte passed away October 4th and her cremation was finished October 6th. Our vet uses this company as an outside service. We received her back a week later. Everything was packaged beautifully. I can’t thank your company enough!

Abbey took care of my two fur babies when they passed over to rainbow bridge. The wooden box is beautiful. We find great comfort having them here with us at home.

Called the day I had my dog put down at the vet. Nobody answered so I left a message with my name and phone number saying I would like to order some things of my dog’s paw prints. They never returned my phone call so I was unable to receive anything other than his ashes. When I went to pick up the box at my vet’s office they wrote the wrong name of the companion on the card and on the box. Did not need anything else to upset me at a time like this but of course, they did.

The vet office my cat passed at uses this place. I got my love back a week after he passed. They put him in a beautiful wooden box. With his paw print in a beautiful case. I was a mess the day he passed i forgot to take his collar off. They sent his collar back with his ashes. I would definitely recommend other use them.

When our beloved dog Rusty died we were looking for a place to take him to get cremated. The staff at Abbey Glen were absolutely amazing and made us feel like they would treat him with the love and respect of family. Thank you for the beautiful paw print keepsake box, urn and poem. It's never easy to go through this but they made the transition as memorable and positive as possible. We highly recommend them and we very happy with their service.
