I brought my 6mo old puppy here to get spayed. The staff is so friendly, & they call you to keep you updated on the status of your pet. The incision scar is very small & i’m very happy with the care they provided to my puppy. If you need a good but affordable place to take your pet, this is it !! Highly recommend.

Got a friend's cat neutered and vaccinated with no problems setting up the appointment or dropping off/picking up. Just follow the written instructions and you'll be fine. Their fees were much lower than all the veterinarian offices I called.. Very nice staff. Highly recommend this place.

They took great care of my cat. Very friendly, kind, and informative. They kept me up to date on his procedure and he had no problems afterward and healed quickly. Very affordable compared to many private vets, with excellent care.

The girl quoted the price for my cat to be fixed (She insisted spayed. I don't care what term. I don't want kittens. I brought this cat in from the streets. Be nice.) Then she proceeds to mention all of the add ons. I wanted clarification. She blew off all of my questions. If you want to pay to pay over $200 to get your female street cat fixed and have any questions you have blown off, go here. If you actually want to have your cat fixed affordably, take your pet to the SPCA. It's $100 for females to be fixed. Oops, spayed.

The Affordable Spay Neuter Clinic has always outdone my expectations. I'm a former Vet tech who no longer lives near the place where I used to work so I wanted to find a clinic that was affordable but has a good reputation. I've had two cats spayed here and both recovered quickly, and were doing fabulously after their spays. Thank you for setting clear expectations and giving me all options for my cats!!!

This "clinic" feels like a back ally spay/neuter mill. They'll undoubtedly want you to keep that cell phone on like they state in their paperwork. Not in case of an emergency, but so they can hike the price on you. This is what they did to my husband. They told him that our 4 month old kitten had "the worst umbilical hernia they'd ever seen," and so it would be more than the price range laid out in the contract. No explanations given, of course, because the most severe umbilical hernias are either emergent, or require a little more work than just pushing everything back into the hole. That is why the sliding scale. I guess they don't realize that some people work with animals for a living too. Didn't expect that we know anything I'm sure. Can't imagine how many other people they have taken advantage of. So the charge was agreed to, because at this point we were Already charged, had waited months for an appointment, and our kitten was already there for hours. How traumatic!? Well apparently the DVM didn't appreciate my husband being upset about the egregious upcharge (that he still agreed to pay), and told him to come get our cat. That's right...My kitten with this "worst ever" umbilical hernia was refused treatment because of someone's feelings being hurt. are you kidding me? I have about had it with this string of Veterinary establishments that put money, and ego above the animals. it is getting very tiring. Having been an animal care professional for 15 years, I cannot in good conscience recommend this grifter. we know that there are unforeseen circumstances that may involve more supplies/funds, that is why there is a sliding scale on your contract. You can't just change the agreed upon amount on an already signed contract without some kind of addendum. I'd love to have more information about the supposed severity of my cats health condition seeing as you are a vet. Her hernia is so severe, and detrimental that you just sent her home without any more information? In fact we had to fight for a copy of our contract. This pandemic must be an awfully convenient scenario for you. You don't have to Be held accountable for anything, do you? I was initially very angry, and very sad for my baby having to sit in lord knows what kind of situation for hours, and for absolutely no reason. Putting my not yet vaccinated kitten in undue risk just for someone to get all up in their feels about a "meany" on the phone. Someone there even spilled coffee on her carrier. I'm standing here, and as I am scribing this I realized we very likely just dodged a bullet. Better get my money back! (For the worried readers, our kitten is perfectly fine. If she were showing signs of constriction she would have been at a real vet. Umbilical hernias are extreme common. So common that they include their repair in spay procedures routinely) EDIT: I am updating my review due to the threat of civil action that we have received in the mail. This was the experience we had. Threatening civil action as a means of intimidating me to remove my honest review is very shady business. I will not apologize. I will report you to the FTC. You were told that you were being disingenuous, and you were. There is no slander on our end. The only slander I see is in your response to my review where you imply that my husband has a “personality defect.” Seriously? That this was all explained in detail, when it wasn’t. This is outrageous. I have never dealt with anything like this in my life. No one will apologize, or remove reviews to avoid your threats of civil action. That is blackmail. My husband called the police. The situation has been well documented. So many details now if anyone has any questions, where were the details when we needed them? Also, since you want to insult my lack of care in taking my animal for a routine exam, I’d like it to be known that my kitten is a rescue, and we are amid a global pandemic. When the situation was assessed over the phone by (even your own clinic), there was no urgent need for any exam or assessment. It would wait until March.

Honestly with the things that were tacked on for charges, you’re way better off taking your pet to an actual vet to get a neuter procedure done. They send a text to you that the animal can’t have food or water after midnight, I did just that but the paperwork when signing said to continue to give your pet water. Caused my cat to be dehydrated and tacked on an extra fee. The other fees I was made aware of beforehand. The actual pick up experience was also very rough. Waited for 10 minutes before being acknowledged as the person ahead was talking about personal stuff. I understand demonstrating good customer service but no one was acknowledged in the waiting room until the woman forgot her wallet in her car. There were also two receptionists at the front, one was very experienced and polite. Literally a complete sweetheart but when I asked the other woman if we could begin the checkout process (after 15 minutes of waiting and they only give you a half hour window to pick up your animal) while the other person was finishing up, she claimed she was new in a rather rude matter. Totally understandable and I stated I figured I would just ask but then the second the nice receptionist started to help me, the new one began to help all the other people in the waiting room. I guess your other customers are only important when it’s 5 minutes before the end of pick up time. Went here because people had recommended it but after calling my vet, it literally would have been the same rate. Shop around and don’t hire someone who isn’t willing to at least act like they’ll help you. Edit: Because this, vet did decide to respond in a condescending matter and clearly was unable to understand my true frustrations with my visit there in the fact that the receptionist basically refused to help and stated that she was unable to but immediately started helping other patients the moment the other receptionist did help me. It was rude. To take it out on a customer and not address it with the employee is clearly the issue. I was completely aware of the fee for my cat being in heat and was okay with that. YOU SPECIFICALLY SENT A TEXT OUT THE NIGHT BEFORE TO ME STATING NOT TO GIVE MY CAT FOOD OR WATER PAST MIDNIGHT. Maybe you should revisit your policies and the automated messages you're sending to customers. I perfectly understood all the paperwork but when your clinic sends a text message to me stating otherwise then I follow that. Maybe that's why nearly 1/3 of your patients require hydration. To not just apologize for a poor experience at your clinic and instead belittle and take it out on me as if I don't understand that taking my animal to a vet is expensive. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats so I'm well aware of the expenses that come with them and can also verify that other vet hospitals can frequently work out to be the same rate after all the things that were added in here. My mother suggested I try this place so I did but even the owner's response to this was a disappointment.

Wonderful experience. We had both our female dogs who are very close spayed on the same day and when one followed her sister into the operating room to be with her, the staff let her stay. Very caring and extremely nice. I would recommend ASNC to anyone who asked. Thank you for being so wonderful to our girls.

My family has been going to the Affordable Spay Neuter Clinic for over 10 years and they've seen all 8 of our cats for a plethora of reasons. Each time we've gone to ASNC whether it be for a spay/neuter, an eye removal (see picture!) or a broken bone, the staff and Dr. Silberman have been nothing but professional, pleasant, and helpful. Dr. Silberman always takes the time to explain the situation fully and answers any questions or concerns we've had. We've now had about half of our cats have non spay/neuter surgical operations done at ASNC with no complications and excellent results. All 8 of our cats were spayed/neutered here. You just cannot beat the price and care that is provided by Dr. Silberman and his staff. Thank you ASNC team and I'm sure we'll see you soon!
