PetSmart Pottstown, Pennsylvania

First I wanted to make a comment to the small minded Jeff with his negative comments. How immature of a man you are to comment on a groomers physical appearance. I really hope that when people speak of you, they would refer to you as dimwit These groomers are there and have been there through this whole pandemic, putting themselves at risk of getting sick and potentially their family to continue working and to tend to your pets. How about you take care of your own pet. So many people don’t think of all of us who continue to work with the public while some are able to work from home and stay safe. We, meaning the many that work outside of home, have had to put up with some of the rudest people to keep a job. How inconsiderate you are and many others to assume that we want all your negativity while trying our best to help you out. Pretty obvious that you can’t even take care of your own pet. Can we all just give a hand to the workers helping YOU. To all the CNAs taking care of your parents, all the day care providers taking care of your kids, all food handlers making your coffee and breakfast, medical professionals making sure you get well, grocers making sure you can get your eggs and bread. And all groomers and vet techs taking care of your pets when you can’t. All these workers are taking so much verbal abuse to serve YOU. Be kind, have empathy, show you are thankful, respect these hard working people and know they put up with a lot of negative people who you obviously need.

Cashiers are awesome even though they are under alot of stress like every other store

I bought 6 fish, platies, 3 of them died within 3 days the rest of my fish are fine!

Went to pet smart for cat toys, found there wasn't a great selection. Wanted soft cloth balls and mylar crinkle balls, didn't have any of those. The plastic balls with the bell in can get lodged in the cat's mouth. I did buy the pack felt nice, which my cat like. Bought the flat crinkle toy that had a feather tail, which is an ignored toy.

The Groomers are soooo rude and mean i would never leave my dogs with them ever get better kinder people petsnart

Comment = Grooming dept has absolutely no customer service skills. I have been treated with disrespect and lies from lead groomer. Today I had 9 am appointment to get my dog bathed got there early stood in grooming salon for 10 minutes before the overweight gentleman acknowledged me. Then rudely said I have to wait on the groomer she didn’t come in until 9 am. I went out and waited she came in at 9:05. I went in and asked it they were ready for my dog and she said take my attitude elsewhere and the overweight gentleman said I gave him attitude when I came in. They promptly called the manager.for what I have no clue- I have been called several times in the past to change the appointment I set up on line. When asked why the change told because other customers have been waiting. Store Mgr Paul is well aware of this situation and his hands are tied because of the shortage of groomers. These people in this grooming salon are disrespectful and have NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. I will not be back and will be happy to tell anyone who asks about my experience with pet smart grooming in Pottstown, Pa. The real deal is they don’t want the business/someone has empowered these young disrespectful employees to treat customers the way they do. NEVER AGAIN !!

For the most part everything was great! Gave a 4 star bc they opened a few minutes late and there was about 4 or 5 of us waiting for them to open.

Grooming. Not happy. Upsale not happy for!!

Looking for a certain type of dog collar (martingale) for foster dogs, they only had one, stock of this type of collar was very low. Cashier was nice!

I take my dog there very good groomers there . I recommend them. I would get the express grooming.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The aisles were organized and items were clearly marked. Seasonal items are available. They had a decent amount of fish, only guinea pigs available, and some birds--a smaller selection of animals compared to others. The facility seemed to be clean and well-kept; it smells like a pet store, so I wasn't expecting much there. Overall a good experience.

PetSmart is not only close and convenient with plenty of parking, but the variety of dog food and treats is vast. The groomers are great, very patient with my new shih tzu puppy. Grooming is reasonably priced, offers a lot of choices and easy to book online. Our training experience wasn’t the best, but that had nothing to do with the trainer, she was great! The class was all big dogs and my tiny shih tzu, so it was a bit overwhelming…to both of us. But we did learn some valuable lessons.

So glad I found this PetSmart! Up until recently this became the only store in the area that almost always had a full stock of the foods we're looking for(thanks to COVID ????), and honestly the only reason they don't have what I need now is because the brand of food I buy is having some sort of warehouse issue ... The staff is always friendly, lines are never too long, if there even is one at all and for a store that allows pets inside it always seems clean.

This store is like most other ones. Animals shoved into small enclosures, the aquariums have dead fish at the bottom. I looked at a few of the guinea pigs and one had what looked like the start of a fungal infection near its eye and put with others so it can infect them too. I needed help with something and a girl at the registers said she would come and I stood there for 20 mins before walking out. I recommend Diane's pet store down the road. Sadly they dont always have what I need so I end up going to petsmart for some items.

I can always find what I need at PetSmart. Their shelves are stocked.

Very satisfied with Tiffany and with the grooming staff, Tiffany was very knowledgeable and friendly towards us and our dog... We will be back again..

Went to pick up new food for our new puppy "Pocohantas". Tea cup Chihuahua. Was quick service to my 2004 Chevy SSR. Safe with masks. No touchy the recite. Right to vechile. Running Market price but the only pet shop around who had in stock. Which made it just greater then great.

I love petsmart. My drake loves the treats from there. Travis did a excellent job on grooming him. He's still a puppy so he still has to get used his nail bring clipped.

Took Lady (Cocker Spaniel) to get a flea bath and nails trimmed. She smells so pretty. Thank you all.

Love using order-on-line, pick-up in store! The product I buy is always cheaper online so I get the additional savings and my order is always ready when I get there!!!

Finally had canned cat food in. The store is very very high priced. It seams like there prices go up each time I am there.

My neighbors gave a good feedback about this store. There are many varieties of pet supplies especially for dogs and cats. This store is located right off route 100, making it convenient for Pottstown area residents.

This place is not volunteer friendly.

Very friendly and helpful people, When I stopped in for some fish they had a ok selection most of the fish were babies and small, which isn't a bad thing if you're starting out or adding. Just wish they had a larger variety of exotic fish.

Very good pet store workers are always very friendly and try to help as best as they can. My main problem right now is they never have their own brand of dog food on the shelf at any of their stories near me (Pottstown PA). Simply nourish. My dogs are so used to that dog food that if I try any other brand they get diarrhea. At this point I will probably have to start making my own dog food.

Please update you website at the very least for store hours. You website showed you have specific items on hand and when I went there, those items were not in stock. However, I get that series this happens. But do update your store hours. They should be consistent.

Went there to buy a fantail goldfish and they had none.
