Dr F is a wonderful, patient vet for our dog! He's always so thorough and we appreciate the his love for animals.

Great friendly, understanding and knowledgeable vet

I am so happy we switched to Valley Forge Animal Medical Center. Dr. Farmand is always so nice and patient and they listen to you and all of your concerns or questions. Not only that they ALWAYS call after each appointment to check on your pet to make sure everything is going well.

We were referred to VF Med by friends. We have been going there for all our “kids” since we moved to Phoenixville 5 years ago. They treat our pets as family. We recently found a stray cat that was in really bad shape. The support and compassion for this little battered cat was so wonderful and genuine. I am grateful and would recommend this practice and the amazing staff to anyone.

Perfect vet office. I had my dogs teeth cleaned and he had to be sedated for that. I was really worried but he came home with NO problems!! Could t ask for a better place to take my pet. Also they are super responsive!! I’ve been able to get next day visits during emergencies and they were able to squeeze me in at a good time.

Dr furman has a great bedside manner and has been taking care of my 15 year old dog for about the last 7 years no complaints.

Dr. Farmand has been taking care of my dogs for over 20 years and he is compassionate a professional caring and eager to please his office is always clean and friendly can’t say enough good things about him

Every doctor at this clinic is amazing! They are responsive for appointment requests and are very understanding to your family's unique needs. My cats have been patients here for three years and hate the vet--but they have special cat-only days to help alleviate the stress for them.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Farmand and the staff at Valley Forge Animal Medical Center. They are compassionate, knowledgeable, and upfront. I have several animals and they don't hate going to the vet anymore (and my cat actually enjoys going!) Dr. Farmand is proactive with my animals health, so any issues are caught early or prevented entirely. They are also very flexible with scheduling and we've never had to wait more than a few days for an appointment. It is a bit on the pricey side, but well worth every penny!

Hi. I received your warm and thoughtful note about Zoey a couple of days ago. I just opened it today. I was so overwhelmed by the humanity of your kind words. You are right.. She was the most amazing and gentle little soul with a great sense of humor. I'm so glad I took a ton of videos of her being .. her. I will miss her always. I just wish I could stop the futile wondering if there was anything else I could have done for her. Thank you for being so kind to me, and so utterly respectful to her memory during this difficult time. I wasn't expecting the cremation box to be so pretty. You have no idea how much I appreciate your being there. I'll recommend you to anyone that listens. I know their pets will be in a great and safe place with wonderful people like you.

Dr. Farmand is the best doctor my dogs have ever experienced! He is truly one of kind. My dogs are at ease when they visit his practice. His staff is the sweetest and most accommodating. They truly do care about your pets and understand that they are family members.

I will bring my cats to Dr Farmand for as long as I am within driving distance. Everyone is wonderful here, always considerate of your time and finances, and they absolutely love your pet almost as much as you do. I have been coming here for almost a decade and will continue to do so for as long as I can.

Dr.Farmand and his staff are simply wonderful! They are experienced, knowledgeable, kind, and thorough. My five senior rescue cats are in the best possible hands at VFAMC. The office is run more efficiently than any medical office I’ve ever seen — you never wait more than five beyond your appt. time. And, if you have a sick animal, Dr. Farmand will stay late or come in early to make sure that you can bring them in. His services are not inexpensive but, in this case, I really do believe you get what you pay for.

With tears still in my eyes I wanted to share how special Dr. Farmand and his staff were this morning when our 14 year old lab reached the end of her life. The compassion and empathy that we were given cannot be expressed in words. My family knows we found a very special Doctor and person in Dr. Ray Farmand. Thank you Dr. Farmand and everyone that helped us this morning let go of a family member.

Dr. Farmand and staff are wonderful people who will make you feel valued as a pet owner, and who clearly love and want the best for their furry clients. When I had to say goodbye to my cat last year, they were so helpful and compassionate. It made a difficult decision tolerable.

After I moved from Phoenixville to Reading, I continued to drive all the way back whenever my dog needs anything--from her annual wellness check, to her recurring ear issues and occasional allergies--because Dr. Farmand and his staff are simply the best: caring, competent, professional. My dog is always *excited* to go to the vet, even though she knows she's going to get poked and prodded, because Dr. Farmand and company always make her feel cared for and welcome. Highly recommended.

We recently switched to Valley Forge Animal Medical Center and love Dr. Farmand and his staff! I can’t say enough nice and positive things about this practice. They really do love your animals and are so friendly and kind and the prices are fair and reasonable. We had to bring one of our dogs back to get his teeth cleaned. They had never been cleaned in the 10 years of his life. His teeth are now pearly white and the bad breath is gone! Had to have two small teeth pulled but it was better than we expected. All around great experience from initial exam to follow up. We would highly recommend Dr. Farmand and team. ???????? ????

Very caring staff. Friendly and warm towards your pets

We love Dr. Farmand and the team! We have a rescue with some special needs and everyone is always super accommodating and show love to our dog as if she was their own. Thanks for all you do for us!

Dr. Farmand and staff were great with my kitten. The office is small but cozy, and the bill was typical.

The best place to take your pet period. I love Dr. Farmand; he is literally the best vet I have ever met. He always goes above and beyond to look after his patients and their families. He treats all my pets like his own and he is very calming helpful. I moved 30 minutes away and there are closer clinics but I still choose to come here because the care is absolutely outstanding. When my babies are undergoing treatment and have an emergency, Dr. Farmand is so amazing and makes himself available to discuss the issue outside his normal work hours. When I got my first cat, I had no idea what to expect and for a few months I was bringing Ollie in every other week or giving them a call just to make sure he was acting normal haha! They were all very patient with me and always took my concerns seriously and explained everything well. I have friends who are vets and tried one other vet clinic, but I would still only trust Valley Forge Animal Medical center. I also I think the costs are fair, and you can ask the cost of a visit or procedure before hand. I believe the first visit is at a discount.

Dr. Farmond is great - probably the best vet I have ever met. Both dogs I have taken to him love him. He's very competent, friendly, and takes the time to address all of your concerns. Highly recommended!

A little pricey but excellent service

Great care from a wonderful vet. Dr. Farmand is very knowledgeable, kind, and always concerned for my pup. Have needed to get her in ASAP on several occasions, and he gets her in right away. He is on the expensive side, but in line with the cost of most vets. Highly recommend.

We were seeing another vet in the Phoenixville area before coming to VFAMC. Our dog was chronically ill, and had not been given the care and attention she needed by the previous clinic. From the moment my husband and I met Dr. Farmand we knew by his kindness, temperament and wonderful communication skills that we had made the right choice. He helped us get our dog healthy with in a matter of weeks. We switched vets and have never looked back! Since switching our pup tore both of her ACLs and both were repaired perfectly by Dr. Farmand. As a high strung individual I am grateful for the doctors calm and reassuring demeanor.
