100% do not recommend for your loved animal. My fiancé and I were taking our dog here prior and had to switch to another banfield due to lack of trust in staff. One example, I took my puppy up to get his current vaccinations, paid for everything and when I just got home 25 minutes away I received a phone call from the vet tech stating me to come back because the vaccines are still on the counter and we’re never administered to my dog. Lack of communication from staff to patients. We never could trust our dog was safe dropping him off. Unfortunately it was so bad we left to another clinic all together.

Dont take my dog here anymore because you saw different vet every time and expensive. Found local vet instead.

I have realy never took my dogs their, but I have been at PetSmart and needed something from banfield and I could not get help. Costumers service is much to be desired.

The insurance is overpriced but I love the attention my dogs get here. We love Dr. Rosato and staff.

the staff at the vet clinic were so supportive to my husband and I. Our beloved Dagwood had to be put to sleep. They let us stay as long as we wanted with him. Thank you so much for your kindness.

I really love this place -- they have everything that you would need for any type of pet And the staff is so knowledgeable and willing to help they also have a dog grooming and a dog rescue and also they have a dog training class

Cannot said much because we couldn't be inside the place, they seem nice people here. The only complaint I have is that the reception could not get the information straight, it was a major confusion on what phone number they should call after we give them the correct information like 3 different times.

My cat wasn't eating or going to the bathroom routinely. I recently had some work done in my home, that caused a fair amount of dust, so it was concerning. I thought it may have had an adverse affect on her and I wanted to have her checked over the weekend. Due to covid, the hospital and I communicated outside via cell and the staff and doctors were not only very friendly and empathetic, but they were very knowledgeable and informative. The process was fairly quick, considering they gave her a thorough exam and treated her. The offered multiple options for the next steps and didnt feel pressured or persuaded one way or another. Instead they answered my questions fully and provided me with a fair amount of information. They sent me home with recommendations verbally and written, which was helpful, as I wanted to refer back to the paperwork. Very pleased with the experience and their care.

I do not recommend going to this location. I drive 30 minutes out of my way to go to a different location instead, Willow Grove loacation is the best. Staff is rude and I have even seen animals allowed off leash in waiting are. It a circus there, beware if you not talking to Rhonda then no one can help you.

I had an appointment this morning for my 2 cats. I was told to wear a mask when I came in. The place was packed with no social distancing and some people were not properly wearing their mask. There was no place to sit and then, apparently because of COVID, I was told I couldn’t go back for the exam and the window on the exam room door was covered so I couldn’t watch. So apparently they care only about their doctors and not their customers and I have no way of knowing how they treated my cats. I will not go back!

Still the best place ever for my baby Gizmo. The are so kind and caring. Even though he hadn't been there in a while, he was treated last they last saw him the day before. I just love this hospital for him????????

I adopted my puppy on Friday and knew right away she may have a form of kennel cough. I brought her to Banfield Saturday morning without an appointment. Rhonda at the front desk was so kind and accommodating from the beginning. She could tell my husband and I were worried and made me feel better just by being her warm and nurturing self towards my puppy, Lucy. She was even able to fit us in 15 minutes after we arrived. From the moment we met with Dr. Palm and his nurse Kim, it was clear they cared for Lucy’s well-being just as much as we did. They listened to our concerns and provided their honest feedback and direction. However, Lucy did not respond to the prescribed antibiotic and started to get sicker. I was able to reach out to a vet on the Banfield app when I knew she was getting worse, which was extremely helpful. Rhonda called to check in first thing in the morning, which was incredible. She made us an appointment for 10am with Dr. Rosato who was just as concerned for Lucy’s well-being. Kim was also there, who I was so thankful to see! I could feel how genuinely concerned she was for Lucy again and was so sweet when caring for her and dealing with my husband and I. After Lucy’s X-ray revealed pneumonia, she was prescribed more medication to help get her feeling better. We had a rough night again with Lucy regardless of the new medication. Before I even could call Banfield- they were reaching out to me again first thing in the morning to check on Lucy! I told them everything and they directed me to get her to an emergency clinic right away. I did so and am so thankful I did. They found the pneumonia was in both lungs and she needed to stay for three nights to get additional treatment. It has been the scariest week ever for my husband and I with our new puppy, but I am so thankful for Banfield helping us through it in each step of the way. The constant checking in was exactly what I needed to make sure Lucy was getting proper treatment. We are not in the clear yet with our poor Lucy, but we are confident she is in the right hands to get better thanks to Banfield. I truly can’t thank the staff enough!!!

Great communication. Called for urgent care and fit in same day. Seen within 10 minutes of the scheduled appointment despite being an add-on. No complaints, great folks!

I understand there are changes due to COVID-19, but the receptionist was COMPLETELY RUDE. I have never cut my dog’s nails on my own even when she was a puppy. Her nails are way overgrown since everything shut down before her next grooming. She is now biting at her nails because they are too long and bothering her. After explaining this to the receptionist, all I received was an attitude and a completely over the top response. She was sassy, demeaning and inconsiderate. I will definitely NEVER go there again and will advise others to not either. If you don’t like your job find another one. You’re not the only essential worker around here!

The customer service representative placed me on hold and never returned to my call. After holding for 15 min I hung up and called back. She actually placed me on hold again. She implied that the customer in the store is more important than me

We have been going to Plymouth Meeting Banfield for 14 years with my Bichon, Mr. Big. Rhonda is wonderful! This morning I noticed my dog has an ear infection and I called to inquire about an appointment tomorrow (since I'm working today). She let me know they were booked tomorrow, and sounded concerned for my doggy. She tentatively added me to the schedule today-just in case I was able to make it. I called back this afternoon to let her know that unfortunately we wouldn't be able to come in tonight and she advised me to call her tomorrow to see if they could fit us even though they have an already booked schedule. I appreciate that she seemed genuinely concerned for my pet and I felt confident that she was going to try everything to be sure he was taken care of as soon as possible.

Wonderful Vet!!! Took my elderly dog here and the health plan they have saved us sooooo much money!! The staff was very friendly and very informative!!! They were able to explain everything to us and start an afford treatment plan for our old guy. I would definitely recommend this Vet!!! Wish we knew about this place earlier!!!
