All around great experience for pet/owner anxiety! Thank you Greenfield Grooming! My cat is very against brushes, but he's half mancoon and thus hard to groom! This salon is a really great find, and I will rebook soon with Sean. The whole process of getting him an appointment to be "sedated" and shaved was just so easy and comforting. I myself ended up being more nervous than Fairfax, who came out a few hours later calm and comfortable! and he has never been so happy! Our groomer was very kind hearted and it seemed like there was a warm, loving atmosphere

Went here for the first time, staff was so caring and friendly. My dogs where very overdue for cuts and they did the best job they could. Cant wait to go back again. Definitely recommend them.

Excellent local business. They were kind, attentive, and professional. They also were terrific with my daughter and even let her watch the process. It meant a lot to us.

Outstanding! Donna and her daughter took care and time to listen, provided excellent suggestions specific to our breed, and welcomed our little one with lots of love. In the end, Kodah looked amazing. Best grooming ever with extra care! Family owned and operated just around the corner from our home in Squirrel Hill.

This was my first time taking my dog to this groomer, I just moved to the area and needed a new salon. He’s a 5 year old standard poodle and has been to countless grooming appointments in his life. I asked for the same haircut I get at every other salon. His haircut was uneven, he wasn’t dried correctly, his coat seems to be still dirty, like it wasn’t washed properly. I am highly disappointed with this salon and won’t be returning.

First-time customer with my uncooperative dog Pepper Jack needing a long-overdue nail trimming ... very awesome experience with a great staff, thank you! Highly recommended!

Great customer service. We were in and out for just a nail clipping for our first visit to see how our corgi did and the grinder was super fast and did a great job! We definitely found our new grooming salon!

Took my dog for a nail trim and bath. He has had his nails trimmed there before but I figured I’d get him bathed this time since we were coming there anyway. They highly suggested I come back with my dog to comfort him since it was his first time being bathed there. I stated that he normally is pretty good with baths and I believed he would be fine but they almost insisted. as we went to the bathing room I heard dogs and asked if there would be dogs in the area. I was told that there would be as we walked through. I advised that since he was nervous in an unfamiliar place I didn’t want dogs bombarding him once we walked in. They offered to move the dogs to the back and did. Once we got to the room he was placed on the table, and a holder was placed on his neck to secure him (fine). it was a little hectic as they decided who would bathe him. A family member had walked thru the door and one of the daycare dogs got in. My dog was cornered, secured on the table with three people he didn’t know, along with a very energetic dog approaching him and was very scared/ borderline reactive due to the environment. I had to shoo the daycare dog out myself. The bath went fine after that. As we proceeded to the drying table, he again was placed and secured by his neck and as they went on to turn on the dryer, it terrified my dog. My dog tried to flee and was hanging by his neck at one point by the table. I told them I did not want to move forward with the drying. They clipped his nails and we were on our way. I’m pretty sure I got charged full price as well, even though he wasn’t able to be dried. They apologized and said it normally isn’t that hectic. My dog was extremely on edge the entire time, as was I. I feared the environment would cause him to react out of stress. (Which I warned them). Luckily he did not bite but with as hectic as it was back there, I would not have been surprised. I think I’ll be going somewhere else next time

at first they did great but the last two times they didn't really brush out her undercoat after trimming so when she groomed herself, she got a lot of hair balls and puked for several days straight. edit: last time i went, not only did they do the same thing as above but also cut my cat's ankle. We are not going back again. That was the last chance.

My puppy came back with a very uneven cut. One look at him and you'd think, what is this charming yet unkempt street dog doing here? What sort of hard knock life has this little guy had that led him here? My gf's mother even said his haircut was poorly done, unprompted. Idk what's going on here. Maybe some of the groomers are decent and the others aren't. Maybe it's secretly a dog grooming school. Who knows? We won't be back.

My dog was returned to me wet and looking like a 5 year old with safety scissors gave him a haircut. I didn’t notice until we got in the car and I looked at him. His nails weren’t trimmed, his face/ears weren’t touched, and he just looked like a hot mess. I was charged full price and not given any explanation or heads up when I came to pick him up. In fact, I asked how he did (first time there) and they said he did great and was such a good boy! I called within five minutes of leaving to ask see what was up/ask for clarification on what was included in my $90 groom (he wasn’t brushed or dried…) and the groomer explained to me that she didn’t get a chance to finish (first I’m hearing of this). My dog was there for one hour before I was called to say he was ready for me to pick up (his grooms usually take 2 hours). Long story short, I had to come back the next day for groomer to “finish” his cut (still looked like hot garbage after). I paid $90 for this unfortunate experience. Had I not called back….I would’ve paid full price for a half groom. So if you have a doodle or a dog who doesn’t enjoy the grooming experience, I suggest you go elsewhere.

Cats had fleas on them after their bath to get fleas off, but.....the people who washed them were soooo nice and caring. They let us come back for free a second time and even gave us a free flea collar.to kill fleas in our car. They have since moved into the old location of Greenfield Veterinary Clinic, who have now built an entirely new facility on Hazelwood ave.

Treated my dog in a loving patient manner. He's had negative experiences elsewhere but at Greenfield Groomers he came out looking good and wagging his tail.

Love the entire staff! They are great with my dog and guinea pig. All I have to ask Willow is "Do you want to go see Jason" and she's out the door.

We have been here a few times and haven’t had a concern. I’ve been slightly hesitant because my dog typically cowers in the seat and doesn’t want to go in, but I chalked it up to not being a fan of being groomed. Today when we went I told the person that got him that he typically has to be picked up and brought in, I even offered to do this and bring him to the door. Instead he had his normal leash and the person put a slip rope leash on him. He proceeded to pull my dog out of the car and when my dog started choking I asked him to stop. He told me it was a “safety procedure”. I told him I was not comfortable and to please take the leash off. He then picked up my dog and asked “is that better”. I replied no and ask him to put my dog back in my car because we were leaving. This same person was also not very friendly to my fiancé when he picked up my dog a previous time. We will unfortunately not be returning.

I called to set up an appointment for my rabbit and told Greenfield grooming I wanted to get her toe nails cut, feet cleaned, and glands cleaned. their response “oh yeah we’ll take her. when would you like to come in” So I set up her appointment, they call me and tell me she’s ready to pick up. I ask over the phone “so you cleaned her feet, trimmed her nails, and cleaned her glands?” Them: yep she’s ready. Long story short I go pick her up, took her home, checked her over and they miss a toe nail and didn’t even clean her glands. So I called back letting them know I was told multiple times they told ne they cleaned her glands and did her nails. Had to make a trip back over and have them fix what they messed up on and the fact they lied to me about my rabbits glands. Not bringing my rabbit over there again.

They did an amazing job! I will be using them again - staff is professional, friendly, and accommodating. My dog has had bad experiences with grooming in the past (he had gotten cut at one of the places, so has been afraid of groomers since that experience), but when I left him with Greenfield Grooming today they were very friendly with him, and he seemed to have a good experience because when we came to pick him up he wasn't timid or on edge like he normally is after going to the groomers. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much for taking great care of our dog!

This is by far the best groomer in Pittsburgh. (I’ve been to them all) Family owned and operated. A pure pleasure. If you have a pet, you must bring them here. Be specific on what you want and they’ll treat yoga me your dogs right.
