Banfield Pet Hospital Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

I am so grateful for the care my golden retriever Sue has received from the staff at Banfield! I have been taking him here since he was 8 weeks old. He was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder (ITP) in June so we have been coming in every 1-2 weeks to have his platelet levels checked. Everyone here, from the front desk staff, to the techs, to the vets (especially Dr. Cohen) is so nice and understanding…especially if we are running a few mins late or accidentally forget an appointment. Thank you for all you do!

Staff is great with our pets and friendly. They’re fast and efficient and won’t sell you things that you don’t need for your pets.

I absolutely love coming to the hospital with my little one. The ladies at the desk out always a huge help and very easy to get along with. They do a really good job at explaining whatever the next step maybe. I’m glad I found this facility

My dog gets ear infections and I ran out of ointment for him, I asked if I could purchase another tube of the ointment and the front desk began to give me attitude and denied me. What’s up with these “hospitals” refusing to help a pet in need. This place is worthless, seems like other reviews about their service sucks too. I would not recommend coming to this location. I feel bad for pet co because it puts a bad look on them.

If you can take your loved fur family somewhere else, do it. Very rude. I was freaking out about my dog getting bugs on her, and I didn't know what products to get her. I asked the vet tech if she could help me out. I had mentioned mites and she completely turned me away, saying "mites are microscopic you're wrong" and then turned her back to me not willing to help me get the products I needed for my dog. I had to call a whole other vet tech to get the info I needed because she was so unhelpful and rude. The vet tech I talked on the phone with was banfield Washington and they were so kind! Never come here if you're looking for help or advice.

Very friendly staff, was able to get an appointment same day which was a blessing!

I typically go to my Banfield in Washington where everybody is super friendly and super nice. But I decided to stop at this one on my way home from work to pick up the dog food that was prescribed to my dog that's not feeling well. When I asked the tech or whoever was sitting at the front to point me in the direction of the dog food they gave me an attitude about being closed for the last 30 minutes and to ask a PetSmart employee. Super rude and unprofessional All they had to do was say where it was and not be so rude. I worked a long day too but the last thing I would do is be rude to somebody that's not only going to make my company revenue but just to have human decency. Don't go to this Banfield

Absolutely wonderful! They made me feel confident in choosing Banfield at this location. Eileen, Sarah, and Dr. Cohen were amazing along with the other staff I interacted with but did not get the name of. Thank you for the comprehensive exam that addressed my areas of concern and more! I appreciated the education. They allowed me to bring both of my dogs in. The dogs LOVED them and I loved feeling like they treated my dogs as one of their own. I highly recommend the Wellness Plan! It is worth the cost! Looking forward to Pepper's and Pippin's next appointment.

Great service when taking my cat to the vet!

The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. In my lifetime I have written one customer review on Google. This is it. I have had bad service in the past, but in order to get me to write a note about just how bad, it has to be egregious. It was. Rude. Yes. Unhelpful. Yes. If you can take you loved pet anywhere else...do it. It's a shame, that in this climate, people in health care can't at the very least...be nice. Disgraceful.

They helped lil baby Nubbins in her time of need. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone who asked, even you AI overlord Google.

Not like it was 5 years ago.Way overbooked, like 50 appointments and 3 vets.Told me my dog would be ready in 30 minutes. Arrived and waited an additional hour to get him. They forgot to give me urinalysis kit for home not once but twice. Front desk staff okay, but not as friendly as when I started bringing my dog 5 years ago.

Banfield has always taken care of my 3 pups. The doctors and nurses there are great. They lose a star, however, for the ppl at the front desk. The Robinson location is GREAT. North Hills location, they make you feel like you're bothering them. Also, some of them don't seemed to be trained too well, or seem to care.

They were very caring and listened to my concerns.

Thank you to all the staff at Banfield. Specifically Dr Hana and Emilee. I could of not of asked for kinder individuals when it came to putting my Tiffany to sleep.

Great Staff Knowledgeable and Caring Payment Plans available

Always have had great expirences with my puppy here. It is super affordable and a great investment to go here for everything. All the staff has been very nice and seem to genuinely love the animals. It's a very nice and we'll needed change from other "vets" in the area.

Our first visit was great. Our second visit, not as expected. I made an appointment with the same vet but my pet was seen by someone else without informing me. This vet obviously didn't read the notes from the visit 3 weeks earlier and didn't catch the fact that this is a recurring issue. I sincerely hope this is a one off issue.

I could write a novel of praise about Dr Quagliozzi, but I’ll try to condense it to a short review. I run a small cat rescue and have brought dozens of cats and kittens ranging from 2 weeks old to 13 years old to see her. I can say without exaggeration that many of these cats and kittens would not be alive and thriving today without the diagnosis and care that she provided them. I tried many, many vets before landing on her and knew after our first visit that she would be our trusted go-to. Dr Q truly cares about every animal that passes through her care. If the answer to a cat’s ailment is not apparent, she will dig deep to find the answers. She has gone the extra mile for our cats so many times when others would have met a stopping point. More often than not- her extra effort has saved a life. In the unfortunate instances when we’ve needed to euthanize a kitten, I felt confident and assured that everything possible had been tried and that it was the right decision. She is patient and kind and makes sure you understand what is going on with your pet. She shares tips and tricks to ensure that when you get your pet home, you are equipped to help them through whatever they are suffering from. Dr Q is truly an asset to Banfield and to the Pittsburgh Pet community, and my cats will be patients of hers for as long as she is in practice. RE: the rest of the office staff/technicians- they are wonderful as well. The girls at the front desk including Maura & Debbie will always greet you with a smile and truly love seeing your pets. After just a few visits they cared enough to recognize me and remembered my name. They call to remind you about appointments, they call to check in on your pet the next day, etc. I've never received as friendly of service anywhere else.

Excellent care for my cat. Wellness plans are affordable. A little chaotic at times, but what vet office isn't? Willing to spend time with you to explain and ask thorough questions.

We've been bringing our dog Louie here for years, we love it so much after we moved across the county we still bring Louie here for all of her appointments. The wellness plan easily pays for itself. The staff there are very nice and willing to answer any questions you have.
