I had to put my 20yr old cat to sleep last week. The staff was especially thoughtful and comforting, and their behavior made a difference.

Absolutely terrible experience. We've used this vet for years now, and now will no longer go back. We were trying to figure out if it is worthwhile getting two of our cats a visit for chronic illness that they have already had visits to address. They refused to talk to a doctor and the receptionist was completely unprofessional and dismissive. "Why did you call if you don't want an appointment". Are you kidding me? All we asked was a call back or a professional opinion on the next steps with our pets. On top of this: 1. Genders wrong on our paperwork 2. Refusal to use the microchips in the pets 3. You ask them for simple quality of service and the receptionists don't pass the requests onto the doctors.

They have taken great care of my dog, they're attentive and communicate clearly about what's going on and their recommendations. They are busy and yet always answer the phone and have appointment slots on evenings and weekends. I'm glad to have found their practice! Will continue to go for wellness checks and more urgent care.

I brought my dog in a number of times asking about a cough and lump I found on her. This vet 2-3 times disregarded the problems and claimed it was allergies or nothing to worry about. Did not offer to do any tests beyond an eye test. Now I take my dog to a different vet for the first time in years and they tell me my dog has cancer, bone problems and a very short time to live since it is so advanced. The new vet was extremely confused why wissahickon creek did not take any blood tests ever. I would not use this vet for anything. I have concerns about their thoroughness and follow-through. It seems as though they only look with their eyes at pets here when sometimes a basic procedure is needed. At least I wish they offered options for treatment or procedures that may not 100% be known to be needed, but could help the pet in the long run.

Every time i have tried to call this place which claims to be for emergencies as well as routine veterinary care, I get told to go elsewhere because they don't take emergencies...uhm. Ok? Maybe take that off of your description then?? Disappointed. It would be so convenient otherwise.

We had an amazing experience! My dog (a toy Maltese poodle) was bit by another dog and Wissahickon Creek Vet took her within the hour and came up with a plan and had her home within the day. They were very compassionate and helpful throughout the healing process as well! I was able to send an image when I was worried about the wound and they brought her back in to clean it up and check everything out. I’m so thankful they kept my girl safe and helped her heal quickly! They were also incredibly affordable! I would definitely recommend Wissahickon Creek Vet. (Images show the initial job by the Vets in early July and how it looks today)

I have taken my dog here for her shots and check-up. I recently got her spayed here too, which went pretty smoothly. The staff was understanding that she is a very nervous dog and took care of her very well. She was happy and wagging each time she was done there.

Nice office. "Beth" (vet tech) very helpful & a good listener . Price was a bit steep however, I think it's the going rate. Would be nice to have price list posted on website at all veterinary offices. After $1100+ I thought I would have met the Surgeon. I would definitely use & recommended the office. Beth also carried& helped me to get crate in car.

I called to report a missing pet, in case she was brought into the hospital - they took a report and were very kind - making a file and recommending I also call the Montgomery county SPCA. When my pet was found, I called to let them know. They were very happy for me and closed the case.

I adopted a puppy from a rescue which ended up having Parvo - they sent me to this vet because they are one that they use. It is an 1 and 15 min from my home. I took him there, he tested positive for Parvo and they only kept him one day. I was told he was doing well and eating, when I picked him up, I was told that he was not eating - I brought him home, he would not eat or drink. The nurse or tech that handed him to me told me they are not equipped to handle the amount of PARVO puppies that were brought in. I feel like they did not do right by my puppy at all!

Will not take my dog back. Was sent to blue pearl because they could not be bothered to take her blood.

We went there for a small emergency, the place was recommended to us by Animedic. And they were able to have us in and out within 30 minutes on a short notice. They also followed up on my dogs condition afterwards so I really appreciated them.
