I was looking for a good place to get my cat groomed after she got some fecal matter stuck to her fur and I was having a difficult time cleaning her. I found top dawg groomers and saw they had a lot of good reviews! They greeted me by name when I came in without me having to remind them, first thing I loved. They sent me videos of the process, second thing I loved! And they really knew a lot about everything they were doing which made me feel very comfortable. Everyone in the building was very kind and friendly. I was smiling the whole time. I could see in the videos they sent that the groomer loved my cat and she was in good hands with her. I will absolutely be coming back!

I am new to the area and was super nervous about finding a new groomer for my anxious pup. A neighbor told me about Top Dawg and I’m so glad they did! The service was quick & efficient. The staff is friendly & welcoming. My pup looks & smells amazing and my special request to keep his ear whiskers was honored, haha! We’ll definitely be back!

I took my 3 month old Toy poodle to Top Dawg today. This was his first time at a groomer, I was nervous he was going to be extra(bad). But Mrs. Tasha said he did very well! They took such excellent care of him! He looked like a new puppy when I picked him up! He smelled so good, his coat was so fluffy and clean! I love, love Top Dawg!! There are the best! Thank you!!

Top Dawg cancelled my appt without telling me. I showed up on time with my dog and they let me know that they cancelled my appt since I did not confirm it via text. They should have let me know beforehand (either by text or a phone call) as it was a lot of trouble to get over there with my dog who does not do well in the car. Very frustrating experience. I made this appt over a month in advance and will now have to get on another waitlist with another groomer as we will not be going back here.

I waited some time to post this review to see if my dogs hair would go back to normal, but my poor fur babies hair has never been the same since we came here. She got groomed back in May and since then her hair quality has changed completely. When she got groomed she was so uneven her body was pink, her legs and her head were fluffy and nothing was blended together plus she still had a matte clump behind her ear. Also the total was $106 so you would think with that price her cut would of been at least satisfactory. Well moving forward to present day because her hair was cut so low (shes never been cut that low before where her body was pink) on her body she’s had so much skin irritation that her hair still hasn’t grown back evenly. I don’t know what they did, but my once fluffy baby is no longer fluffy anymore.

It's a great place to bring your pet! This was suga babies first time letting someone else groom her besides me. She did good! The only the that the appointment was for 10:30a.m. and I didn't get her back until 1p.m. witch took way too long because I had another that I missed due to them being back up!

My dog is a rescue Chow Chow with high anxiety. After an incident at her previous groomer where she came back with an eye and leg injury, we decided to look around for experienced groomers who understood dogs with trauma. We were transparent with Top Dawg about our dog’s misbehavior at previous groomers before they agreed to groom her. They understood that Chow Chows tend to be dramatic, and said they would take it in stride. As soon as we arrived, the kind woman at the front desk addressed our concerns and told us Mowgli was in good hands. She even got on the ground and waited until Mowgli was comfortable coming up to her on her own. Because of our difficulty finding a new groomer, Mowgli had a bit of matting in her double Coat. Top Dawg handled all the matting, and even said that Mowgli was a pretty good girl, all things considered. We even got a call during the appointment asking if it’d be okay to shave out the matting on her legs, even though it may look a little funny. We agreed, feeling that Top Dawg knew what was best to do in the moment. Mowgli came out smiling, looking beautiful, and smelling wonderful! We are so happy with our experience at Top Dawg and definitely plan to be back. Thank you so much for giving our dog a chance!

I love TopDawg Groomers. They are very nice and professional.

Very professional black owned business. Responsive and easy to contact. If they don’t answer just leave a message, they generally call back within 20 minutes. My dog doesn’t do well with new people but he loved it there. He smiled the entire ride home. His haircut was perfect and you can tell that they take their time because it’s always cut with precision and not choppy like other unskilled groomers may do. They leave his coat soft, fluffy, and smelling amazing. I love that they separate the big and small dogs without keeping them in cages, gives them some play time. Take your pets to get the top dawg treatment.

TopDawg is WONDERFUL! Tasha is so nice, my dog instantly loved her. When I picked him up he was happy and looked great! He’s soft, noticeable not shedding as much when I pet him and his nails are nicely trimmed. I can tell he absolutely feels like the Top Dawg! Recommend taking your pets here, you and they will love it!

TopDawg did an amazing job for me and my puppy! They were very kind and professional dealing both with the anxious owner (me) and my anxious puppy. They did exactly what I'd hoped with trimming her fur and her nails, and when they were done she came out so happy!

This is an excellent and convenient location to take my granddog to get groomed. They did a great job ,and the groomers have patient with the animals.

The Black and Family owned business is a delight. My dog arrived looking like two different dogs because her coat was shedding. The young ladies took great care of her and she looks and smells great! They have gained a new customer.

Finns first grooming went so well! Top Dawg has an awesome professional staff that helped with all our questions and made sure Finn felt as comfortable as possible for his first grooming.

I take my male cat Shady in to get his nails clipped about every 5 weeks. The process is quick and I like that. Shady is usually so hyper but so docile getting his nails clipped by owner Ahmin. Male bonding I suppose.

Owner and staff are so nice! Super fast service, my dog looks and smells brand new. Thanks again!!

This has been a horrible experience, as the owner was very dismissive and disrespectful when I had a legitimate concern about the failure in his staff informing of the charges. He is was unprofessional and not courtesy to my needs. Also the grooming was subpar at best. I will never take my yorkshire terrier back to the place. Please do not go to this place as there are definitely better options available out here and more importantly they have outlandish prices. Try to avoid this place at all cost.

I have a rescue chihuahua- shih tzu mix. Frank has the attitude of a chihuahua and the hair of a shih tzu. Needless to say, I was nervous about Frank's reaction to having sharp objects poked around his face by masked strangers. After days of googling and reading reviews on different groomers around the city, I booked an appointment at TopDawg. As soon as I walked in, the owner came over and calmly greeted my dog. Within 30 seconds he picked Frankie up and was holding him as if he were his own dog. I was fully expecting Frank to turn on the guy and bite his nose off. The guy is like a dog whisperer. I'm not exaggerating when I say I'm blown away by how well the team here handled my nervous little guy. Before and after pics so you can see how overgrown Frank's hair was.

Great small dog groomer. The owners are wonderful, kind and really good at what they do. My dog looks nice and clean and cut just the way I like after every visit.

Do NOT take your dog here if you care about their well being!!! I took my dog here to get his nails clipped and ears cleaned and when I picked him up he had severe hemorrhaging in his eye. Not only did they not mention this to me but when I called back to ask about they said they were aware but it was “just cherry eye”. To make sure my dog was okay, I contacted my vet and they informed me this was NOT cherry eye but rather an emergency and that I should take him to an animal hospital immediately. After speaking with my vet I contacted the shop to let them know what was said and they assured me they would split the cost as this happened in their shop and that is “not how they do business”. After over a month of giving me the run around, and telling me to come in at various times to only say come back another time and to resend the same documents that I had submitted the month prior I realized it is not worth it to try to get a corrupt business owner to try to do the right thing. I’m glad my dog is okay but I will NEVER bring him back here again. I will be looking for another shop that does not mistreat people’s pets who are trusting them with their care.
