Though this last visit was to schedule an appointment to have my precious pet Diamond cremated. I truly appreciate the attention and services rendered over the years by the doctor and his wonderful staff. Thanks you.

I have visited O'Neal over many years with my pets. Dr. Littlejohn has always been thorough. This was an emergency appointment and I was so grateful I could be seen that day. Bandit and I both thank you.

The Veterinarian & staff are very kind and caring to the animals and their care givers. They go beyond the call of duty to assist you & your pet in any way they can. I highly recommend O'Neal Animal Hospital for all your pet's needs.

I rarely write reviews, and almost NEVER negative ones, but I had a truly awful experience at O'Neal Animal Hospital. I brought my dog there for the first time, and both the vet and vet tech could seem to care less about my dog's comfort and well being. They forcefully held him down on the table while he cried in discomfort, and the vet actually SMACKED his nose at one point while he was whimpering. I regret not saying something at the time, but I was just in shock at how roughly they were treating him. He was nervous at the vet before, and is truly terrified now. We went to a different, much kinder, vet practice after this awful experience, and even though they did not push him the same way O'Neal did, he was cowering in fear the whole time. I don't know if it will be possible to undo the damage our visit to O'Neal did, I hope with time it will be. I will absolutely not be bringing my dog back, and caution other pet lovers about bringing their furry loved ones here.

The Dr. misdiagnosed my cat. They have been giving my fur baby medications for asthma for months!!! but later found out in a different animal hospital that he did not have asthma, instead, he had heart disease:( I am still in shock that my baby was on the WRONG medication for that long.

I've said this before but I'll say it again. Dr Littlejohn is a fantastic vet. So often you get the impression that other vets are running up the bill. Littlejohn cares for both the welfare of your loved critter and also for the welfare of your wallet.

We have been taking our 12 year old pit mix here since the moment we adopted her 11 years ago. She must have had a rough first year because she is a very, very nervous dog and began to show some aggressive behaviors. Dr. Littlejohn and his office staff have been incredible with her. They are understanding, non-judgmental , and know exactly how to handle her. Even when we moved out of West Philly and even eventually to NJ, we still take her to see Dr. Littlejohn. We won't take her anywhere else.

Worth the wait. Not only is the doctor and his staff wonderful, but the patients in the waiting room were as well. Almost all were repeat customers. You could tell they loved the place.

I want to really love this place . I changed vets because of how my female dog was treated and she is now scarred for life about vet tables where as before she didn't mind. the vet had lifted her on the table and manhandled her onto her back and got the vet assistant to hold her down :( It would have been so much better if I had been allowed to put her on the table, got her into a down position then we could have rolled her over, she would have done that but nope she was forced on to her back. I didn't realise how much it affected her until her next vet visit. When my friend took her back because I couldn't. Other than that everything else is nice about this clinic.
